Illya stood on the rooftop terrace of the villa, gazing up at the sky in deep thought.

Chu Feng walked up beside her and asked, “What’s wrong?”

“I feel like something’s about to happen,” Illya said.

“Maybe something is about to happen,” Chu Feng replied seriously.

“You feel it too?”

Chu Feng nodded. “Kind of.”

“Superpowers are awakening one after another. Maybe earthquakes aren’t so surprising after all.” Shen Yuxing suddenly thought of the red moon. She had been worried all night for nothing—but now, was it finally happening?

She took a deep breath. “When are the earthquakes expected to happen?”

“The monitoring station estimates… about one hour from now.”

Shen Yuxing frowned. “That soon? There’s no time to evacuate!”

“It’s probably too late. All we can do is issue a warning.”

The person receiving the report asked, horrified, “Is it possible one of the earthquakes will hit Capital?”

Shen Yuxing gritted her teeth. “Capital? But there are so many people here!”

With wild plants and animals mutating, many believed the cities were safer and had flocked into them. And now…

Illya said, “Then why not go check on them directly?”

Chu Feng frowned. “Manning isn’t here, and we don’t know their exact location. I might have to pick up Manning first.”

Illya pulled out her phone. “No need. Last time I saw my sister, I secretly stuck a tracker inside her necklace. We can pinpoint her location.”

Chu Feng asked curiously, “A tracker? Does it actually work?”

Illya shook her head. “Not sure. Hughes made it based on local tracking devices.”

Chu Feng blinked and thought: He didn’t doubt Hughes’ ability, but how long has he even been here? Can something he made so quickly actually work?

Chu Feng nodded. “Alright then, let’s go find her. If all else fails, I’ll go to the other world and bring Manning back.”
