Su Qiong is the tutorial guide NPC in a horror game.
The game’s other NPCs are hideous and bloodstained, with missing arms and legs.
Only Su Qiong has an adorably innocent baby face. He wears a sparkly, cutesy uniform, and even his magic wand is covered in pink diamonds.
Whenever players interact with him, he reminds them in a sweet, adorable voice:
“You can’t beat me, you know—not unless you open the big treasure chest.”
“If you don’t find the password hidden in the skeleton’s eyes, you’ll never escape the secret room!”
Players: Escape? Who cares about escaping? I just want to kiss this NPC to death in one go!
And yet, when the game’s results were tallied, Su Qiong was rated the most terrifying NPC on the entire server.
Because the players adored their guide NPC so much that they willingly let him kill them again and again.
Based on the player data, the system reset the game and turned Su Qiong into the final stage’s ultimate boss.
Su Qiong arrived at the final stage and found himself facing a pitch-black, sinister demon lair filled with powerful monsters whose bodies had been torn apart. Terrified, he clutched his magic wand with trembling hands. His little face turned deathly pale as he pleaded pitifully, “H-help me! There are so many ghosts here. I’m scared…”
The entire server erupted in fury! Players began spending money and grinding like mad, charging toward the final stage at full speed.
“Don’t be scared, baby! I’m coming to save you right now!”
“Don’t you dare bully my precious boy!”
“Let me buy this stupid game and turn it into a dress-up game for our baby.”
