Chapter 30: Order Cards (5)
In stories about countless races, knights of light were often associated with justice, protection, loyalty, and similar virtues.
The Knight of Light in the World of Order looked as though at least three pounds of grease could be scraped off his body.
Su Qiong slowly entered the blindingly bright room. The knight was still sitting astride his horse, striking various poses to display muscles gleaming beneath a layer of oil.
At this moment, a certain piece of code finally understood why humans had muscles yet still needed to wear clothes.
—Forcing others to admire your muscles was a form of visual bullying.
A walked at the front and headed directly to the center of the palace-like chamber.
The previously empty space was suddenly filled with countless black cards flying in from every direction. They surrounded A like ceremonial sashes.
The Knight of Light urged his horse over to A and declared with overflowing emotion, “Oh, fortunate one blessed by my favor! Quickly choose the card that belongs to you.”
A made no selection. He shot the Knight of Light a chilly glare, his fists tightening.
The others noticed his movement and feared he might lose his temper and drag the Knight of Light off his horse.
“Brother A, forget it. Calm down.”
Shi Yuntian and Lu Shufan each grabbed one of A’s arms.
“He’s an Order Card guardian. At least show him some respect.”
“I know.” A impatiently shook them off and selected one card from the mass of Order Cards.
Su Qiong curiously moved closer and read the words on its face.
[Players must challenge the Order Staircase. Those who obtain the most steps will pass the trial of the World of Order. This is the only method of clearing it.]
“‘This is the only method of clearing it,’” Shi Yuntian read aloud, completely confused. “Isn’t that what the system already told us? Why did you deliberately choose this one?”
A handed the card to the Knight of Light and casually explained, “I chose it at random.”
“Oh.” Shi Yuntian believed him.
The other teammates exchanged glances and immediately understood why A had selected that card.
The first part of the text did indeed repeat the rules the system had given them.
However, the phrase this is the only method of clearing it seemed suspiciously defensive.
Su Qiong had explained many times that there were at least three methods of clearing an instance: completing the main quest, gaining the NPC’s approval, or defeating the Circle Lord or instance NPC.
ERROR, as the biological father of IN OFF, had also confirmed this.
Given those premises, the card’s deliberate emphasis on the “only” clearing method made it seem as though the Circle Lord had something to hide.
“Oho~ Congratulations, lucky little fortunate one! You successfully selected a True Order—and not just any True Order, but a Tier-Four True Order holding supreme authority within the World of Order. Now, allow me to bestow my blessing upon you.”
The Knight of Light performed a series of exaggerated and humiliating dance movements resembling a magical-girl transformation sequence.
A silently looked away and clenched his fist again.
At last, the knight completed his transformation routine. Two white stars symbolizing purity appeared and flew directly to the back of the card, imprinting themselves beneath the number four.
“I have bestowed my power upon you. This card now possesses strength surpassing even a Supreme True Order and will grant you good fortune during the final stage.” The Knight of Light revealed eight gleaming teeth. “Now, gratefully put it away.”
A: “…”
Was he truly not allowed to hit him?
With A providing the example, the others selected their cards one after another until only Su Qiong and ERROR remained.
As an NPC, Su Qiong naturally wanted to leave more opportunities for the players, so he gestured for ERROR to choose first.
“You go.” ERROR wore an inscrutable expression. “If I choose first, there won’t be much left for you.”
“?”
A question mark slowly appeared in Su Qiong’s mind. Although he did not understand ERROR’s meaning, he obediently walked toward the center.
The cards immediately crowded around him, waving back and forth before his eyes as they desperately tried to attract his attention.
After reading several of them, Su Qiong suddenly understood why A had wanted to hit someone.
Several cards among the pile clearly contained personal propaganda.
[Everyone should love the Knight of Light.]
[The Knight of Light possesses the most perfect bodily proportions.]
[The Knight of Light is the most handsome man in the World of Order.]
[…]
In terms of shamelessness, only the card proclaiming IN OFF is the most entertaining game in the world could compare.
Su Qiong forced himself to ignore the self-promotional cards and scanned the rest, searching carefully.
Unfortunately, someone nearby refused to let him concentrate and kept chattering suggestions.
“Choose the card about my bodily proportions or my handsomeness. I can grant you an even greater reward.” The Knight of Light pulled on the reins and circled around Su Qiong. “I swear upon a knight’s honor that all of those cards are True Orders.”
“Sweetheart, why are you avoiding my gaze? I permit you to look directly at me.” Despite being ignored, the Knight of Light remained passionately enthusiastic. “We are both NPCs, and my level is higher than yours. According to the system’s rules, you should obey my commands.”
After enduring his endless noisy rambling, Su Qiong finally reached the limits of his patience.
“So you know I’m an NPC?” Su Qiong pointed at the ID above his head and demanded loudly, “Haven’t you noticed that I’m white-named?”
“White-named?” The Knight of Light stared at Su Qiong’s pink ID, his face filled with confusion.
This…
Wasn’t that red?
“I’m opposed to you. Why should I obey your commands?” Su Qiong said with disgust. “Stay away from me.”
The Knight of Light was intimidated by Su Qiong and genuinely retreated several steps.
Finally obtaining some peace, Su Qiong selected a card from the pool.
[The number of Order Cards is finite.]
He had no particular reason.
He merely felt subconsciously that he should choose this one.
At last, it was ERROR’s turn.
Everyone turned toward him.
The cards rejected ERROR intensely and would ignite themselves if he so much as touched them.
Yet ERROR had cleared the carousel challenge and was supposed to receive a card.
The teammates immediately entered spectator mode, curious about what would happen next.
ERROR’s expression remained calm as he walked toward the center one step at a time.
The cards that had surrounded the other players like sashes sensed his abnormal presence and scattered, hiding far away.
ERROR glanced sideways at the Knight of Light.
“Aren’t you going to do something?”
The Knight of Light was ordinary yet self-confident. Naturally, he could not tolerate the cards losing control inside his own domain, so he reluctantly summoned them back.
Even after returning, the cards maintained a considerable distance from ERROR, terrified that their card lives would become miserable if they fell into his hands.
Su Qiong inspected them carefully and discovered that the cards closest to ERROR looked absurdly false at a glance.
For example:
[Fish are microorganisms that stand on eight legs, live in soil, and pilot giant robots.]
Lu Shufan read the text aloud, then turned toward Yu Qimiao.
“Mm?” Yu Qimiao raised a brow.
Lu Shufan immediately looked away.
Another example:
[Humans can leave Earth and live indefinitely on any planet.]
And another:
[IN OFF is a romance game.]
“What romance?”
“The game doesn’t even have a marriage system.”
“ERROR is miserable. Choosing a False Order means punishment, but the system won’t give him any opportunity to select a True Order.”
“Wait! ERROR, what are you doing?!”
Amid the spectators’ startled shouts, ERROR reached toward the card describing IN OFF as a romance game.
Unlike the previous cards, this one did not resist ERROR by destroying itself.
The Knight of Light smiled, malicious intent written clearly across his face.
“How unfortunate. You selected a False Order before a guardian of True Order.” The Knight of Light struck a fitness instructor’s pose and flexed his biceps. “I bear a sacred duty and must punish disobedient believers.”
“Wait.” ERROR gestured for him to stop and waved the card in his hand. “Who said it’s a False Order?”
The Knight of Light declared confidently, “It contradicts reality. How could it not be a False Order?”
ERROR did not answer. He opened his bracelet interface and casually adjusted a few settings.
“Su Qiong.” ERROR called his name and said without context, “Accept my request.”
Su Qiong responded blankly.
Afraid that moving too slowly would allow ERROR to be punished, he clicked accept before even reading what the request contained.
[System: Congratulations to Player ERROR and NPC Su Qiong for swearing an oath in blood and forming a fated bond.]
[System: Initiator ERROR, please select the bond relationship.]
[System: Player ERROR and NPC Su Qiong have established a new relationship: Lovers. Intimacy: 0.02%.]
“What?!”
“So NPCs really can be bound?”
“ERROR, hurry and tell me how you did it!”
“What’s so surprising?” ERROR looked at them calmly. “The original IF system included a binding function. Although the system escaped my control and erased that function without permission, two people with a sufficiently powerful bond can still force a binding through a special token.”
ERROR looked toward Su Qiong and continued, “We have wounds of the same shape, and my blood flows within his heart. Those conditions were sufficient for a forced binding.”
“Ah.” Su Qiong hurriedly pulled open the clothing over his chest and lowered his head to inspect the area over his heart.
His body was flawless as jade, delicate and unblemished like a newborn infant.
Only a crimson scar remained over his heart, persisting even after they entered a new instance.
That scar had been formed during ERROR’s sacrifice.
He had pressed his hand forcefully against Su Qiong’s chest, then driven a dagger through both the back of his own hand and Su Qiong’s heart, allowing his blood to flow downward and fill Su Qiong’s chest.
So he had already been planning this back then?
He had nearly drained himself of blood just to activate a binding that might be completely useless?
After successfully establishing the bond, ERROR displayed the interface to the Knight of Light.
His lips curved into a smile far more attractive than the knight’s.
“Look again. Can people fall in love in IN OFF?”
The Knight of Light had never seen the Lovers relationship before. He had not even heard of it. His eyes widened in shock.
“The main system has identified us as lovers. Are you going to question its judgment?” ERROR waved the card again. “I’ll ask once more. How does this card contradict reality?”
The Knight of Light remained speechless for a long time.
The back of the card in ERROR’s hand had already turned silver, yet no number appeared.
ERROR did not care.
It had originally been a high-tier False Order and had been casually disproven by ERROR. The system was probably unwilling to convert it into a True Order.
After all, once this card became a True Order, every player in the World of Order would be free to date and marry.
Perhaps IN OFF really would become a romance game.
“I understand.” The Knight of Light’s spirits collapsed as he said heavily, “I obey the main system’s decision.”
He then granted the card two stars filled with humiliation.
His pride had suffered a severe blow, and his eyes overflowed with unwillingness.
“You used your trump card here. Seven more Order Guardians remain, and none of them will be as easy to deal with as I was.” The Knight of Light paused and warned sinisterly, “The False Order Guardians in particular are embodiments of malice and servants of cruelty. I imagine they have already prepared your burial grounds and are merely waiting for you to deliver yourselves to your deaths.”
“Thank you for the warning.” ERROR looked entirely unconcerned and spoke in an exceptionally irritating tone. “Don’t worry. An NPC capable of killing me doesn’t exist.”
NPCs were all the system’s children, while ERROR was the system’s biological father.
Even after exhausting every scheme, the system could not eliminate ERROR.
Much less an ordinary red-name NPC.
“Let’s go.” ERROR turned around decisively. “We shouldn’t keep the other guardians waiting.”
“All right.” As Yu Qimiao walked, he opened the amusement park map.
The carousel area had lit up, while seven amusement zones remained colorless.
“Where should we go next?” Yu Qimiao asked for everyone’s opinion.
Su Qiong leaned closer and carefully studied the map. “The order of the attractions seems to have changed.”
“Huh?”
The others gathered around and examined it closely.
It truly had changed.
“What did it look like before?”
“I forgot. It was definitely different from this.”
“Let’s record the current order. If it changes again, we can compare them.”
“All right. Beside the carousel is the Smile Theater, and next to that is Bumper Karting…”
Su Qiong memorized the present arrangement and analyzed it seriously.
“The World of Order has eight tiers of order, and the amusement park has eight attractions. After completing the carousel, we met the guardian of a Tier-Two True Order. It is reasonable to infer that each attraction corresponds to one guardian.”
“Mm.”
“Keep going, Little Pastry.”
“The Knight of Light gave us two stars and claimed they would help us. Assuming he wasn’t deceiving us, our goal should be to collect rewards from more guardians. That would give us a better chance when challenging the Order Staircase.” Su Qiong paused, then added, “The key problem is that we know absolutely nothing about False Orders.”
“You mean we should challenge a False Order next?”
A looked at the map. “How do we identify which attraction corresponds to False Order?”
“That’s simple. The Knight of Light already warned us.” Su Qiong reminded them, “He said False Order is malicious and cruel. It should correspond to the more dangerous attractions.”
“Dangerous attractions.” Moi and Qiyi hugged each other nervously and looked at the map.
The Screaming Roller Coaster and Haunted House of Terror were obviously dangerous at a glance.
After leaving the beginner zone, Circle instances almost never involved realistic settings.
There might truly be ghosts inside.
“Do we have to go?” Lu Shufan, who feared ghosts, turned pale. “There are still three True Orders. We can clear all of those before entering a False Order instance.”
Shi Yuntian looked at him with disgust. “Pathetic.”
“Actually, I also think there’s no need to rush straight into the most intense option. We don’t know the tiers of the False Orders. If we select the highest tier immediately, we may end up in a bitter battle.”
“Mm-hm!” Lu Shufan nodded desperately.
“What do you think, Su Qiong?” Yu Qimiao asked.
Su Qiong did not fear ghosts and could not understand their terror.
However, he truly had no confidence in directly challenging a Tier-Four False Order, so he handed the decision to Lu Shufan, who resisted the idea most strongly.
“You choose.”
“Me?” Lu Shufan was rather surprised.
“Mm.” Su Qiong stared at him. “Adults must take responsibility for their choices. Once we enter the instance, you may not complain again.”
“I wasn’t complaining in the first place!”
The moment Lu Shufan finished, he was immediately exposed.
“Who was the coward crying and shouting that he would carve ‘Never Ride a Carousel’ onto his gravestone?”
Lu Shufan: “…”
Publicly executing his dark history was excessive!
After studying the map and receiving divine assistance, Lu Shufan ultimately selected the attraction whose name sounded least dangerous:
Smile Theater.
Smile Theater.
It should be like the performances at certain large amusement parks, where they sat and watched cartoon characters put on a show, right?
That was what Lu Shufan thought.
However—
When Yu Qimiao pressed the confirmation button for Smile Theater, a theater ticket appeared in everyone’s hand.
The system transported them to the theater entrance, where an enormous tent-like structure resembling a yurt stood before them.
Through the closed entrance, waves of laughter could be heard inside.
Although the laughter never stopped, it sounded painfully forced rather than joyful.
Faintly, shrill screams and sobbing could be distinguished within it.
The yurt-like building was completely sealed, without even the smallest opening through which they could see inside.
A brightly dressed young woman stood beside the tent. Her information card identified her as a white-name Level 18 NPC.
Upon seeing them, she smiled warmly.
“Welcome to Smile Theater. Please select the play you wish to perform.”
“We’re performing?”
The players immediately caught the keyword and felt that something was wrong.
—Weren’t they supposed to sit in the audience and watch a performance?
“Yes. Smile Theater allows visitors to experience the joy of performing. Ticket-holding guests will act in the play, while staff members score the performance.”
The young woman presented a large stack of colorful scripts whose covers contained no titles and repeated, “Please select the play you wish to perform.”
Even someone without a brain would know that they could not choose a script carelessly.
Su Qiong looked at the girl and tentatively asked, “Do you have any hints?”
“Yes.” The girl smiled at him and offered two.
“First, the script directly determines the difficulty of the task.”
“Second, the script cannot be changed.”
Neither hint was particularly useful.
Su Qiong touched the covers but triggered no system prompt, leaving him troubled.
ERROR raised a hand and naturally rested it on Su Qiong’s shoulder. He asked smoothly, “We’re lovers who have only just confirmed our relationship. Which script would you recommend?”
The moment he asked, several pairs of eyes turned toward ERROR.
—We know you’re bound to the marshmallow.
—Stop showing off!
“For newlywed lovers, I recommend these three.” The girl selected three scripts from the pile, then explained before they could speak, “You may ask only one question.”
As a guide NPC, the girl could assist players to a certain extent.
However, she was not bound to any player, so the help she could provide each group was limited.
If she favored Su Qiong’s group too much, it would be unfair to the others and disrupt the game’s balance.
“One out of three.” ERROR studied the script covers for a moment, then looked toward A. “You must have received similar training. How would you eliminate the worst choice?”
A looked at him. “There’s no need for complicated knowledge.”
“Oh?”
“Choose one first.”
ERROR complied and selected a script.
A lowered his lashes and stared at it.
“Combining Murphy’s Law with the system’s hostility toward you, this one must be the worst.”
ERROR: “…”
Why did I humiliate myself?
“Wow! A is amazing~” Su Qiong happily praised A twice, then used a children’s counting rhyme to choose between the two remaining scripts.
He opened the first page.
A large, bold title was printed across it.
The Newlywed Couple Massacre
“…”
“Uh.”
“How appropriate for a couple who just confirmed their relationship.”
ERROR looked toward Su Qiong, who showed no reaction, and once again felt the system’s malice.
After choosing the script, the players handed their tickets to the young woman and entered the tent one by one.
The interior was dim, making it impossible to see anything clearly. Only chilling laughter could be heard.
A red-name NPC led them into a small compartment and warned in a muffled voice, “You have two hours to rehearse.”
Then the NPC left and locked the door securely behind him.
Su Qiong was about to inspect the surroundings when several Order Cards containing rules appeared before him.
[Smile Theater does not require punctuality. Relax.]
[Smiling is prohibited in public areas of the theater. Smiles may not reveal eight teeth.]
[Players may freely assign performance roles.]
[Leaving the compartment is permitted. Go explore the outside world.]
“At a glance…”
“Are any of those True Orders?”
“Probably not.”
The group exchanged looks and reached nearly the same conclusion.
Smile Theater was probably a False Order instance.
Judging from the other players outside, they were clearly terrified yet forced to keep smiling.
It was miserable enough to inspire sympathy.
“Su Qiong, what should we do next?”
“I’m making a deduction.” Su Qiong said, “If all four are False Orders, then we should remain inside the compartment and wait for the system to assign our roles. Two hours later, we go onstage and smile throughout the performance.”
“If all four are False Orders, that would indeed be correct.”
Su Qiong looked at them. “The system wouldn’t provide such obvious hints.”
“Of course not.” ERROR understood his unfilial child very well.
“Even though they all appear false, there must be True Order Cards hidden among them.” Su Qiong continued, “Or all four might be True Orders.”
Shi Yuntian complained, “How could all four possibly be true?”
“It is possible,” A said, understanding Su Qiong’s meaning. “There is naturally some overlap and confusion between true and false. Furthermore, False Orders have broad scopes. If even one of the three conditions on a card is incorrect, the system may classify the entire card as false.”
“I understand. Even a False Order may contain true elements.” Yu Qimiao reacted, his brows knitting tightly. “That makes judgment much harder. The World of Order is more complicated than we imagined.”
“True and False Orders both belong to Circle One, so their basic rules should be similar. Orders mixing truth and falsehood like these probably won’t be high-tier.” After understanding the situation, Su Qiong lowered his head and opened the script. “Let’s study the play first.”
“That’s right. We still have to complete the performance.”
From the title alone, The Newlywed Couple Massacre sounded like a supernatural mystery drama.
The story concerned a newlywed couple who died mysteriously in their sleep on their wedding night.
After their unjust deaths, their souls refused to leave. They lingered around several suspects, searching for clues so they could avenge themselves.
The main plot was not complicated, but it contained extensive bloodshed and supernatural elements.
The performance would undoubtedly be explosive.
There were eight actors in total, matching the number of members in the Orphan Alliance.
In addition to the newlywed couple, who served as the protagonists, there was a detective, the detective’s assistant, and four suspects.
The suspects were the groom’s mother, who opposed the marriage; the bride’s ex-boyfriend, whom she had abandoned; a possessive female junior who secretly loved the groom; and a widowed neighbor jealous of other people’s happiness.
After understanding the main cast, the next step was assigning roles.
Su Qiong looked again at the card stating that players could freely distribute the roles and formed a private guess.
“Let’s decide who plays each character.”
“Shouldn’t we wait for the system to assign them? What if this is a False Order and we’re punished?”
“The system probably won’t assign the roles for us,” Su Qiong said. “However, it must have a general plan for which characters we should play.”
As long as they deduced the system’s intended arrangement, they would avoid triggering the order regardless of whether the card was true or false.
“Little Pastry is so clever. Let’s decide quickly~”
The players sat down in mutual understanding and formed a circle.
Su Qiong’s bracelet flashed twice, displaying numerous hidden hints concerning the role assignments.
“As expected, they were hidden deeply.”
Su Qiong shared the prompts with everyone.
After studying them thoroughly, they ultimately decided that Yu Qimiao should take the most important role—the bride.
“Yuyu, sorry about this. The hint says the bride will encounter more danger. We can’t make either of the two girls play her.”
“The rest of us are too tall and have never worn women’s clothing, so we don’t meet the requirements.”
“Besides, you’ve already worn bridal clothes before. There are only zero times and countless times when it comes to cross-dressing.”
“I’m not the only one who meets the requirements, am I?” Yu Qimiao looked around indignantly before his gaze landed on Su Qiong. “Su Qiong, you should be more suitable than I am.”
“That’s right.” Su Qiong did not mind wearing women’s clothing. The reason he had not chosen the protagonist was because he had a more important role. “As the guide NPC, I naturally have to select the role that guides everyone. Detective suits me best.”
“Ah, Su Qiong is so innocent.”
“The detective profession has already been ruined. It has become an incarnation of death that brings murder wherever it goes.”
“Huh?” Hearing that, Su Qiong began reconsidering his life as an NPC.
Perhaps he should obtain a pair of Death’s horns.
Because Yu Qimiao was playing the bride, the script required the bride and groom to have the most adorable height difference.
Naturally, the groom’s role fell to Shi Yuntian, who stood over one meter ninety tall.
Moi and Qiyi selected the remaining female roles: the groom’s mother and the possessive junior.
Lu Shufan claimed the role of the ex-boyfriend.
He muttered his objection, “Compared with being Yuyu’s ex-boyfriend, wouldn’t it be more fitting for me and Boss Shi to be gay? Can’t I be the groom’s ex-boyfriend instead?”
“Then we wouldn’t even need to investigate. You would definitely be the killer.”
The script provided by the system contained large blank sections.
At first, only the character introductions appeared.
The next section would activate only after the roles were assigned.
During the performance, the players had to identify the true murderer to complete the play.
Because ERROR and Su Qiong were bound, their characters had to share a close connection.
Since Su Qiong chose to play the detective, ERROR naturally became the detective’s assistant.
A had no choices remaining and could only play the widowed neighbor.
Once all roles were assigned, everyone pinned the character cards to their chests.
No order was triggered.
They turned to the next page of the script.
Words slowly appeared on the previously blank paper, describing the first act they were to perform.
Every character name in the story had been replaced by the temporary actors’ IDs.
It appeared the system had accepted their assignments.
The story began three days after the wedding night.
Yu Qimiao was dead.
He had died on the third day after the wedding.
Strangely, he remembered only the wedding itself and had no memory of what happened afterward.
His soul had not descended into hell.
Instead, it remained inside the bridal chamber.
Yu Qimiao saw that the red dragon-and-phoenix wedding candles had been replaced by two white candles, while the wedding portrait had become a faded black-and-white photograph.
Saddened, he searched everywhere for his new husband, assuming the man would certainly be keeping vigil for him.
Instead, the people kneeling before the mourning hall were his ex-boyfriend, Lu Shufan, and Moi, the obsessive junior who had secretly loved his husband.
Yu Qimiao could barely understand why Lu Shufan would keep vigil for him.
Lu Shufan had been far too controlling, so Yu Qimiao had broken up with him. Yet Lu Shufan had continued haunting him relentlessly, refusing to let him go even after death.
But why was Moi keeping vigil for him?
Yu Qimiao could not understand it until he clearly saw the memorial tablets displayed in the mourning hall.
There were two.
One belonged to Yu Qimiao and had just been placed there.
The other had been placed there three days earlier.
It belonged to his husband.
His husband had died on their wedding night.
After everyone finished reading the first act, the system issued a prompt.
[System: Complete the performance of The Newlywed Couple Massacre, receive a score of at least eight from the judges, and correctly identify the murderer to clear Smile Theater.]
[Hint: Performances must obey order.]
“I have a question. Is the murderer definitely among the eight characters we’re playing?”
The questioner did not limit his attention to the four suspects, instead expanding it to all eight people.
“Not necessarily,” Su Qiong answered. “But it’s highly likely.”
A asked, “Does the murderer know they’re the murderer?”
Su Qiong did not answer. He looked around the circle and carefully observed everyone’s expressions.
“There are no abnormalities in anyone’s microexpressions. The murderer doesn’t know their identity yet.” Su Qiong adjusted his bracelet but triggered no additional hints.
A rustling sound came from around them.
The curtains surrounding the compartment fell away, revealing a complete dressing room and makeup tables.
Everything looked extremely professional.
[Players may freely select costumes.]
Seeing the card, Shi Yuntian cursed, “There are exactly eight costumes! What freedom?”
Furthermore, the characteristics of each outfit were obvious.
The bridal gown fit Yu Qimiao’s measurements perfectly. There was no room for choice at all.
The players resigned themselves to their fate and took their assigned costumes.
Only one particular NPC appeared exceptionally excited.
He happily hugged the brown plaid detective outfit.
“The system finally prepared clothes for me. There’s even a small cape and a hat.” Su Qiong, who had never properly worn clothes before, adored the tailored, beautifully crafted outfit and slipped into a corner to change.
Less than two minutes later, he encountered numerous problems.
“Strange. Which side of the hat is the front?”
“Why did they give me three layers of clothing?”
“…I don’t know how to put on trousers at all.”
“Little idiot.” Yu Qimiao could no longer listen and was preparing to go in and help.
Before he could, a figure swiftly slipped into the changing room ahead of him.
