I Can Hear My Straight Roommate’s Thoughts – CH59

Chapter 59

Pei Zhi sat in his seat like he was sitting on a bed of needles.

He was the only one in the room, and because he had just taken a shower, he had nothing on under his bath robe. Needless to say, in his hurry to video call Xie Ning, he hadn’t bothered to leave a towel or coat by the desk, rushing over to set up the call unprepared.

Most importantly, Pei Zhi hadn’t expected that he would suddenly do something like this.

During a video call, while Xie Ning wasn’t paying attention, he had done something bad right under his nose. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he had been caught red-handed on the spot.

And now, Xie Ning was telling him to shift the camera down.

If he shifted it down, he would truly be left with zero room for excuses.

Pei Zhi was locked in an intense inner struggle. On one hand, he was terrified that Xie Ning would find him repulsive, think he was a pervert, or get angry and refuse to video call him ever again. On the other hand, he was inexplicably thrilled. The mere thought that Xie Ning might expose his misdeed and witness this through the screen caused his recently doused urges to reignite, burning even more fiercely than before.

Under Xie Ning’s stern, almost accusatory gaze, Pei Zhi—a mix of high excitement and deep anxiety—cautiously tilted his phone camera downward.

The expression on Xie Ning’s cold face seemed to freeze for a moment before his brow furrowed even tighter, his body leaning back slightly out of instinct as if startled.

However, he wasn’t frightened, but rather… seeing a scene like this under these circumstances felt incredibly bizarre. Furthermore… Pei Zhi’s build was truly somewhat exaggerated.

Pei Zhi’s physique was already taller and larger than the average Easterner, with muscle mass and body proportions that held an immense genetic advantage. A body like his was photogenic, and the lens only amplified those traits, making him appear even more aggressive and powerful. Even so, Xie Ning hadn’t expected that Pei Zhi under the camera lens… would look so staggering.

Pei Zhi had a healthy body with thick, dark body hair—just like the hair on his head, deep in color, almost pitch black.

And because the room was stuffy and airtight, Pei Zhi had worked up a heavy sweat. A glistening sheen of perspiration floated over his dark skin, and his palms were similarly slick, moisture dripping down.

Parts of his bathrobe hadn’t been spared either, stained a pale, damp gray.

Xie Ning pressed his lips together slightly.

He hadn’t guessed wrong; Pei Zhi really had been secretly up to no good. What he couldn’t comprehend was that he hadn’t done anything just now. How could Pei Zhi get worked up under these circumstances?

It was absurd.

Xie Ning suddenly recalled a conversation he had overheard during a break between classes, back when he was catching up on sleep. Two classmates nearby were chatting. One of them was also in a same-sex relationship, dating an athlete, and was complaining bitterly to a friend.

“You have no idea. Jocks fall into two extremes: either they’re done in seconds, or… their drive is insanely high. My boyfriend is like a rabid dog. Since he trains regularly, his lower body and core strength are insanely good—he never gets tired, like a machine with infinite battery life.” The classmate had let out a sigh. “I really can’t take it anymore. I’m thinking about breaking up…”

Exercise indeed increased testosterone secretion, which could similarly affect libido.

Pei Zhi looked precisely like someone with extremely high testosterone levels.

Xie Ning fell silent for a moment. Although he didn’t resist engaging in a more intimate relationship with Pei Zhi, Pei Zhi’s current state was honestly a bit out of bounds.

His tone revealed no hint of pleasure or anger: “Who gave you permission to touch yourself?”

Pei Zhi’s voice turned hoarse: “Baby…”

“Did I say you could touch it?” Xie Ning’s tone grew increasingly frigid, his brow seemingly coated in a layer of frost.

Xie Ning had assumed that if he acted angry, Pei Zhi would pull back a little. Who could have guessed that under his icy attitude, Pei Zhi would instead be ignited bit by bit?

Right under his eyes, in front of the camera, Pei Zhi shamelessly transformed from his previous subdued state to being full of vigor.

Even more daunting than his initial state.

He even… shamelessly twitched right at Xie Ning in excitement.

Xie Ning: “…”

He had forgotten that Pei Zhi’s thought process was anything but normal. The logical progression he had envisioned applied only to ordinary people, not to a beast-like presence like Pei Zhi.

Pei Zhi stared fixedly at Xie Ning on the screen, attempting to discern any subtle shift in his expression. Yet Xie Ning maintained that cool, emotionless facade, casting only a light, faint gaze toward him.

One that seemed to carry a hint of subtle disgust.

“I won’t touch it,” Pei Zhi said hurriedly, having embarrassed himself and terrified that Xie Ning might truly ignore him. “I won’t touch it, please don’t be mad.”

Xie Ning: “Why should I be mad?”

The camera was still aimed directly at Pei Zhi, and Xie Ning wanted him to shift it away, no longer wishing to look. But on second thought, he let it go and said, “Go handle it yourself. I’m going to sleep.”

Pei Zhi: “Have you adjusted to the jet lag yet?”

Not yet. In truth, Xie Ning didn’t feel sleepy at all right now. He had originally planned to video call with Pei Zhi a bit longer, but who knew Pei Zhi would pull a stunt like this out of nowhere?

Xie Ning: “I have. I’m very tired and going to sleep.”

Pei Zhi: “You’re lying.”

Whenever Xie Ning lied, he would display a deliberately serious demeanor and articulate his words with extra clarity—like sticking his head in the sand, deceiving himself before deceiving others.

It possessed a unique kind of cuteness.

Pei Zhi pressed the camera closer, almost pressing it right against himself. His voice grew increasingly raspy, heavy with thick pants: “Baby… didn’t you want to look? I’m letting you look, so why are you going to sleep again?”

The sudden enlargement of the screen image made Xie Ning lean back, his spine pressing against the chair while his fingers gripped the armrests tightly.

His fingers slowly clenched. On the screen, a clear flush of pink surfaced on Xie Ning’s face. He said, “Pei Zhi, you really are too…”

“Put the phone back. I don’t want to look anymore.”

Pei Zhi: “Why don’t you want to look? Does it not look good?”

Before Xie Ning could speak, Pei Zhi continued as if talking to himself, “I guess so. Not everyone is like you, gorgeous in every single spot. The first time I saw it, do you know what I was thinking?”

“I was thinking, how could it be that color?”

“Tender and pink, so clean, like a piece of jade. I didn’t even dare suck on it too hard, terrified I’d melt you…”

“Pei Zhi!” Xie Ning snapped, embarrassed to the point of anger, a sheen of tears forced into the corners of his eyes. He had already forgotten about that matter, yet Pei Zhi insisted on bringing up old history. The tips of his ears flushed red, his lovely eyes reflecting a sense of restrained shame. “Stop talking.”

To Xie Ning, who suffered from skin hunger, these words actually produced an effect akin to physical touch. Especially through the video screen, Pei Zhi’s deliberately lowered, husky, and affectionate voice felt as though he were whispering right against Xie Ning’s ear through the in-ear Bluetooth earphones, sending waves of tingling currents straight through him.

“Alright, alright, I won’t talk. Baby, don’t be mad,” Pei Zhi soothed again. However, before he could stay quiet for long, he said with a hint of grievance, “Do you not miss me at all?”

“I miss you so much. Whenever I sleep, you’re all I dream about.”

Xie Ning wanted to take off the earphones, but he feared that if Pei Zhi said anything strange next, his parents might hear it. Although the house was well soundproofed, anyone with a guilty conscience would always fear unexpected accidents.

Especially since the words Pei Zhi might say next were likely unfit for a third party’s ears.

Yet this wasn’t at all what Xie Ning had originally envisioned.

He had thought it would just be an ordinary video call—expressing how they missed each other, sharing what they had been up to, just casual chatter.

Who knew it would turn out like this?

Xie Ning ultimately didn’t take off his earphones.

He remained silent, simply staring at Pei Zhi. Xie Ning’s expression was calm; apart from his flushed face, everything else appeared normal. On the contrary, Pei Zhi looked in a terrible state.

What Pei Zhi found most unbearable was this side of Xie Ning—this cool, indifferent face that seemed interested in nothing. He was aching to an unbearable degree, and just as he reached out his hand to touch himself, Xie Ning spoke up.

“Did I give you permission to touch it?”

Pei Zhi: “I won’t touch it, I won’t touch it. Baby, I won’t touch it.”

He repeated it over and over, as if terrified of making Xie Ning angry.

True to his word, Pei Zhi didn’t touch it again. However, he softly tried to bargain: “I won’t touch it, but baby, bring your hand closer so I can look at it up close, okay?”

“Let you look at my hand up close?” Xie Ning leaned slightly closer to the phone. “And then? So you can fantasize about my hand being on you?”

Pei Zhi’s pupils dilated slightly.

Xie Ning’s expression remained unchanged, yet the words he uttered made his heart race wildly. His Adam’s apple rolled: “Is that not allowed? Or, baby, how do you like it?”

Xie Ning merely looked at Pei Zhi without saying a word.

Pei Zhi said, “I like it when you sit on top of me.”

“Then I’ll hold you, and you won’t need to do a thing.” Pei Zhi loved the way Xie Ning depended on him completely; it gave him a sense of security while satisfying his extreme possessiveness. He said, “You only need to cry in my ear.”

“You’re thin, and your waist is narrow. My arms can easily clamp around you, lifting you up from below… I can go in very deep,” Pei Zhi panted, his lips parted as if he were overheated. “You’d definitely be scared to death, floating above the ground, terrified of falling, trembling non-stop, crying non-stop.”

“Your fingers gripping my arms, shedding tears while crying out for husband.”

The fingers on the armrest slowly tightened, his pink fingernails pressing hard against the black armrest, forcing out little crescent shapes of white.

Perhaps the room temperature truly was set too high, as Xie Ning felt somewhat hot. On the surface, however, he remained completely unruffled, his tone flat as he said, “I wouldn’t be like that.”

Pei Zhi countered, “Then how would you be?”

Xie Ning: “I would curse at you.”

Pei Zhi: “Curse me as what?”

“Bastard,” Xie Ning said, gazing at Pei Zhi on the screen, his eyes cold, yet seemingly capable of piercing right through the display. “Pei Zhi, you bastard.”

“Nngh…” Pei Zhi’s Adam’s apple rolled, a mix of both painful and overjoyed emotions lingering between his brows. He said, “Baby is so good at cursing.”

Xie Ning: “…”

He said, “I’m going to sleep.”

An unnatural look crossed Xie Ning’s face. He was very smart, yet at times like this, he appeared somewhat naive. Whenever he wanted to escape a situation or stop paying attention to Pei Zhi, he would use going to sleep as an excuse.

“Don’t,” Pei Zhi said. “Baby, bring your hand over. Touch me a little too, okay?”

Xie Ning’s eyelashes fluttered: “Just bringing my hand close to the screen is enough?”

“Mhm, just like that is enough,” Pei Zhi let out a soft chuckle. “You’re in Country M right now. Even if I really had other ideas, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. It’s not like I have superpowers to cross through the screen and do something to you.”

“Though our baby is amazing, possessing mind-reading.”

Xie Ning: “…………”

In the past, he would still tell Pei Zhi very seriously, “I really do have it,” but now, he didn’t want to say it anymore. Since Pei Zhi was convinced his mind-reading was fake—just a playful little flirtatious game between a couple, a way of acting spoiled—saying it again wouldn’t be of much use anyway.

Perhaps Pei Zhi would be kept in the dark for the rest of his life.

Thinking that he couldn’t hear those absurd inner thoughts of his.

Pei Zhi in the video call looked genuinely miserable. Since Xie Ning wouldn’t let Pei Zhi touch himself, the current Pei Zhi looked almost on the verge of breaking down, his color deepening even further.

Xie Ning even suspected that if this went on any longer, Pei Zhi might actually break… His arm on the armrest shifted slightly, bringing his hand closer to the camera.

His hand was exceptionally beautiful, with a perfect balance between bone structure and flesh—both slender and well-articulated, yet soft and delicate to hold. His nails were neatly trimmed, their surface displaying a healthy pink hue.

Pei Zhi, who had been begging piteously just a moment ago, suddenly fell silent. He stared at Xie Ning’s hand with an extraordinarily solemn expression, as if conducting some profound academic study. His gaze was burning and sticky, possessing a tangible quality; if someone said he might cross through the screen at any second to lick Xie Ning’s fingers, Xie Ning would believe it.

“Can the camera go a little lower?” Pei Zhi said. “I can’t see very clearly.”

Xie Ning lowered the camera a bit and said, “Hurry up and handle it.”

If Pei Zhi kept staying in this state, it would be hard for their video call to continue, and besides, this thing was truly an eyesore.

Pei Zhi gave an indistinct murmur of agreement and asked, “Can I touch it now?”

Xie Ning: “You can.”

But that wasn’t what Pei Zhi wanted at all.

It never was from the very beginning. What he wanted had only ever been Xie Ning alone.

This thought grew increasingly intense in his mind, to the point where Pei Zhi simply couldn’t calm down. Outside, wind and rain raged together; inside, the heating was turned up high, driving Pei Zhi’s body temperature even higher.

Xie Ning looked at Pei Zhi, his brows gradually knitting together, his expression turning increasingly strange.

Pei Zhi had wasted a lot of time. Fearing he would delay Xie Ning’s sleep, he pleaded for help: “Baby, you can help.”

How could Xie Ning help?

Xie Ning was abroad right now. Even if he took a flight back to his home country, it would be too late. If Pei Zhi could truly last that long, he’d be considered a tough guy who ought to be sent to the hospital for doctors to help instead.

Xie Ning: “Help how?”

Pei Zhi: “Reach your hand over.”

Looking at the phone in front of him, Xie Ning pondered for a moment, lightly tapping the screen with his fingertip. He asked, “Like this?”

“Mhm,” Pei Zhi asked. “Is it hot?”

The phone? It wasn’t hot… But under Pei Zhi’s gaze, Xie Ning seemed to suddenly understand something, his expression freezing for a moment.

The naive look Xie Ning occasionally displayed always captivated Pei Zhi immensely. Pei Zhi said, “Do you still remember what happened back on the Ferris wheel?”

Xie Ning pressed his lips together ever so lightly.

Of course he remembered.

“The space inside the Ferris wheel cabin was so small; it was hard for me to lift you up. Even if I put your legs over my shoulders, it was hard to hold you on my body. Besides, your head would definitely bump into something,” Pei Zhi said. “Baby, do you remember how I did it on the Ferris wheel?”

The explicit words traveled like an electrical current beneath his skin, bringing a subtle, tingling sensation. Xie Ning vaguely sensed… his skin hunger seemed to be slightly riled up.

Xie Ning didn’t speak, nor did Pei Zhi rush him. Instead, he continued downward, as if coaxingly: “Let me take a look, okay?”

Xie Ning: “Take a look?”

“Mhm. Come closer, let me see if you’re wet.” In the video call, a little bead of sweat seeped out from the tip of Xie Ning’s nose. Staring at that glistening drop, Pei Zhi felt a dry itch in his throat. “Look, you’re even sweating.”

…

Xie Ning’s body proportions were extraordinarily superior; even placed in the fashion industry, he would be a rare powerhouse. He was naturally gorgeous and thin, yet he wasn’t lacking flesh anywhere he ought to have it.

If Pei Zhi had to describe it, Xie Ning’s skin was like a soft peach—just looking at it was enough to whet one’s appetite, its surface flushed with a healthy, faint layer of pink.

Pei Zhi stared at the video screen without blinking, reaching out with one hand to grab the remote and lowering the temperature by two degrees.

“Is this okay?” Xie Ning turned slightly, feeling somewhat uncomfortable. At the same time, his face burned scorching hot.

A tiny seam right at the center bore the color of a growing fruit. Perhaps because Xie Ning was naturally so fair, any trace of another color would appear striking.

Not a vivid red, but a budding, faint green-pink waiting to be picked. And because it hadn’t reached full bloom yet, the surface was coated in a layer of glistening dew, shimmering with a hazy light under the illumination.

Whether it was because the room temperature was too high, a layer of pink suddenly floated over Xie Ning’s skin. Receiving no response, Xie Ning turned his head to glance at Pei Zhi once more. However, upon catching sight of Pei Zhi’s almost ravenous, wolf-like gaze, his whole being froze for a second.

Looking at Xie Ning’s flushed skin, the dark color in Pei Zhi’s eyes deepened bit by bit.

If conditions permitted, he would have already moved his mouth over to taste it.

“Baby, I can’t see,” Pei Zhi said. “Get a little closer, let me look, okay?”

Xie Ning found it strange, but he said, “I’ve already shown you.”

“Mhm, so good.” Pei Zhi had practically worn his lips thin, finally persuading Xie Ning. He was already very close to the screen, yet no matter how close he got, an ocean remained between them after all. He said, “Baby, so cute.”

“So pink.”

Xie Ning immediately sat back. He maintained that cool expression from earlier as much as possible, and in fact, he was capable of doing so. It was just that a bit of red had flushed across both his cheeks and the tips of his ears.

Xie Ning: “Then are you done?”

Pei Zhi had said that with just one look, he would be good. Otherwise, Xie Ning wouldn’t have agreed to his request.

“Not yet, baby…” Pei Zhi suddenly brought up old history again. “Did you know? Back on the Ferris wheel, I didn’t get to see, and I’ve always regretted it. I should have lifted your skirt back then to take a look.”

“That wasn’t a skirt, it was your coat,” Xie Ning corrected. “I wasn’t wearing a skirt.”

“Is that so? It’s pretty much the same,” Pei Zhi said. “I wanted to burrow in to take a look; it should have been red.”

Xie Ning: “How could it be…”

Still, Xie Ning couldn’t be sure either; he hadn’t looked at it himself.

Pei Zhi coaxed him: “You don’t believe me? Then baby, open up and look later, so we can confirm it together.”

Xie Ning looked at Pei Zhi with a somewhat speechless expression: “Pei Zhi, I’m not an idiot.”

What he did just now was already the maximum concession he could make. After all… Pei Zhi had shown him too, even though he hadn’t wanted to look.

“I am. I’m the idiot,” Pei Zhi asked very seriously. “Can you let the idiot take a look?”

His dark eyes stared unblinkingly at the phone screen. Xie Ning didn’t know how Pei Zhi managed to say such shameless words with such a solemn, serious expression.

The rosy flush on his cheeks grew deeper and deeper. After a long while, he still adjusted the angle of the stand and rotated the phone screen.

“No, I can’t see clearly,” Pei Zhi said. “Baby, your knees need to come up a bit more… right.”

“How are you so obedient?”

Pei Zhi stared at the video screen with that extremely serious expression, then appeared thoroughly perplexed: “How come it’s not red?”

He had clearly confirmed the color just now, yet now he was playing dumb again. He said, “Touch it a bit, see if it turns red.”

“Like before on the Ferris wheel.” Seeing Xie Ning’s hesitation, Pei Zhi continued to coax him, “It’s what you like, baby, isn’t it?”

Xie Ning indeed didn’t resist; if Pei Zhi were by his side right now, he wouldn’t mind. But right now, Pei Zhi wasn’t by his side.

Pei Zhi was asking him to rely on himself.

Xie Ning’s skin wasn’t thin, but it wasn’t that thick either. He couldn’t bring himself to do something like this during a video call like Pei Zhi did.

In his ear was still Pei Zhi’s coaxing voice. Pei Zhi even casually picked up a cherry from the fruit platter beside him.

His well-articulated fingers pinched a cherry. The cherry wasn’t large, nor was its color the deep red from memory, but rather a lighter shade. Under the camera, the pad of Pei Zhi’s finger traced circles across the surface of the fruit, slowly rubbing it, as if after this, the cherry would become even more delicious.

Pei Zhi said softly: “Baby, do you see it?”

Xie Ning dazed: “What?”

“I’m by your side, holding you,” Pei Zhi said raspy. “You’re sitting on my lap, I’m holding your waist, pinching your chin. I’m kissing you, licking your mouth.”

“Like before, you know.”

Xie Ning was bewildered for a moment. Looking at the scene of Pei Zhi pinching the cherry, he hesitated and wavered, before ultimately, sluggishly beginning to imitate him.

His fingers were slender and soft, appearing practically delicate compared to Pei Zhi’s large-boned fingers. Therefore, what Pei Zhi could achieve, he couldn’t necessarily reach, appearing somewhat clumsy due to his hesitant attitude instead.

However, this also made it easier for Xie Ning; at the very least, it wasn’t so exhausting. His fingers were slender, fair, and soft, making the pink flesh look all the more tender by contrast.

Xie Ning had forgotten to adjust the room temperature earlier, and now the room was getting terribly hot. The ends of his hair were swaying, and a drop of sweat seeped out from his pink nose. A moment later, as if unable to take the heat, he suddenly let out a soft whimper.

“Wnnngh…”

The sweat on the tip of his nose dripped down, moisture practically everywhere. On his hands, on the seat, and on that soft skin that had turned somewhat bright red due to his clumsy actions.

Xie Ning’s expression looked somewhat off, as if he were slightly uncomfortable, suffering through a difficult sensation. When that faint sob broke through, Pei Zhi violently crushed the cherry in his hand.

The fully ripened fruit burst with juice in an instant, sweet, delicious liquid flowing all over his hand. Yet he didn’t care to taste it in the slightest—having tasted juice far more heavenly, he naturally looked down on this.

The view before him was blurred with tears as Xie Ning lost his focus slightly, his plump, rosy lips parting a fraction. Because of the cold outside, the heater was humming indoors, causing a puff of hot, humid white mist to continuously drift from his mouth.

Xie Ning slowly bit down on his lower lip, wanting to put an end to this—it was simply too strange. Yet he caught sight of Pei Zhi suddenly drawing closer in the video. Opening his eyes in bewildered astonishment, he took in the sight of Pei Zhi directly facing the camera—wild, rough, and almost terrifyingly massive.

This wasn’t the first time Xie Ning had seen Pei Zhi, but… a camera lens amplified every single feature, to say nothing of such a lethal angle and distance. The fine lines on the skin, the curved contours—he could even clearly see the layer of glistening moisture coating it all.

Years of athletic training meant Pei Zhi possessed an abundance of muscle, wrapped in sinewy veins that throbbed with vigorous, explosive vitality.

Xie Ning: “You…”

Pei Zhi: “Can you feel it?”

“Feel what?”

“Is it biting you?”

Pei Zhi stared at Xie Ning’s hand and murmured, “Before, you bit me just like this.”

Xie Ning wanted to shake his head and deny it, but Pei Zhi gave him no room to think. Seizing the moment when his consciousness was hazy from skin hunger, Pei Zhi repeated his question: “Can you feel it?”

Xie Ning stared blankly at Pei Zhi, the soft, rosy tip of his tongue poking out slightly through his naturally parted lips.

“I’m going deeper.” Pei Zhi pressed even closer to the screen, as if wanting Xie Ning to see him even more clearly, to immerse him even further. Gazing at Xie Ning’s flushed skin, his voice sounded raspy: “Baby, why are you so hot?”

“How can you be… so hot?”

“On the Ferris wheel, you kept biting me non-stop. And you’re still biting…”

Outside, the wind and snow pelted against the windowpane, melting into sticky streams of water in the heat. Accompanied by the sound of water, the quiet, dim atmosphere around him threw Xie Ning into a fleeting moment of confusion.

It was almost as if he had truly been drawn by Pei Zhi into the exact scene he was describing.

Suffering from skin hunger, Xie Ning’s reaction to physical sensations was significantly more sensitive than that of an ordinary person. Yet he had never imagined that right now, he would actually feel a wave of… arousal.

His knees, flushed red from the heat, squeezed together unconsciously, his eyes clouded over with mist. Seeing Xie Ning’s somewhat helpless expression, Pei Zhi knowingly asked, “Why are you squeezing them together, baby?”

“Are you clamping down on purpose?”

“Such a good baby.”

It clearly wasn’t…

This was an unconscious movement on Xie Ning’s part, and he didn’t know why he had done it either. Hearing Pei Zhi frame it like this now, it made it seem as if he had done it intentionally.

His knees slowly parted again, as if trying to prove that he hadn’t done it on purpose.

Xie Ning sat there motionlessly, staring blankly at Pei Zhi. Pei Zhi didn’t care whether this was a one-sided performance; he simply kept his eyes locked tightly on Xie Ning.

Why was he so obedient?

When he was being this excessive, why could Xie Ning still hold back from cursing at him or snapping at him?

His slender fingers remained right where they were. Perhaps Xie Ning didn’t know what else to do, so he simply maintained his original posture. But this was already enough; for Xie Ning, a degree like this was sufficient to satisfy him, given his skin hunger.

Those with skin hunger always amplified their perception of physical touch… Even though Pei Zhi wasn’t physically by his side, many of Pei Zhi’s words and actions induced an illusion within Xie Ning.

It felt as though what was being swallowed wasn’t his own hand, but the illusion of Pei Zhi.

Staring at Xie Ning’s hand, a wave of ferocious jealousy surged within Pei Zhi.

Jealous that Xie Ning’s hand could stay right there.

Pei Zhi felt he had gone mad—to actually be jealous of Xie Ning’s own hand.

Yet how could Pei Zhi not be jealous?

Because of the high body temperature, Pei Zhi could clearly see through the phone screen that a hot, humid white mist was rising into the air.

Xie Ning’s skin was exceptionally delicate, the dainty, rosy soft flesh acting like an intoxicating trap that swallowed him up bit by bit. Especially since he had seen with his own eyes that Xie Ning was sweating heavily—perhaps because the room temperature was far too high, the genuine leather seat Xie Ning sat on was coated in a distinct, reflective sheen.

Pei Zhi imagined that what Xie Ning sat on right now wasn’t a chair, but himself. And all of Xie Ning’s sweat was falling onto his own body.

His emotions grew unprecedentedly heightened. Suddenly, the screen glitched into a burst of static, as if broken. Xie Ning couldn’t see what was happening on the other side at all, able to make out only a rough, vague outline.

Pei Zhi propped himself up on the desk with one hand, his bangs drenched in sweat. Beneath the damp strands of hair was a pair of fierce, ravenous eyes. He slowly lifted his gaze, staring at the phone screen.

A bit troublesome—he couldn’t see Xie Ning clearly anymore.

Regulating his breathing, Pei Zhi wiped the screen with his hand, but far from cleaning it, he only made it worse. The moment he caught sight of Xie Ning’s slightly dazed face, he knew that Xie Ning’s skin hunger had likely kicked in again.

Whenever Xie Ning was aroused or felt immense comfort from physical contact, the compounding effect of his skin hunger would always cause him to wear an expression that looked almost ruined.

Even though not long ago, he had been a little fierce—though that tiny bit of fierceness held zero deterrent power, appearing impossibly cute in Pei Zhi’s eyes.

Pei Zhi called out softly, “Baby.”

He magnified Xie Ning’s video screen as much as possible. After being repeatedly wiped by Pei Zhi, the phone screen had become smudged with sweat, turning somewhat blurry and indistinct.

Adjusting his phone, Pei Zhi slowly drew closer, gazing at the somewhat ruined, hazy picture.

“What should I do, baby?” Pei Zhi seemed deeply troubled, his voice raspy as he murmured, “I can’t see clearly anymore.”
