Chapter 41
A faint ripple stirred in He Zhen’s calm eyes.
At that moment, fireworks burst into the sky and slowly scattered across the night.
In his ears were Fang Jingrao and He Zhi’an shouting and egging them on.
The afterglow of the fireworks landed perfectly on He Zhen’s reddened ears.
His eyes were especially bright, and the corners of his mouth could not help curving upward ever so slightly.
Yu Chen was still calling him “Husband” over and over. Every single time, it felt like a soft feather lightly scratching at his heart.
He Zhen took a step forward, and Yu Chen immediately covered his head and backed away, smiling as he asked, “Husband, are you about to hit me?”
He Zhen did not understand. Why would he hit Yu Chen?
Although calling him that at their age really was too early, if anything, he would only reason with Yu Chen. He would never solve things with force.
“Yu Chenchen, don’t call me that.”
Hearing He Zhen say that only made Yu Chen call him even more enthusiastically. That just proved Xiao Yu’s idea worked and was effective on He Zhen.
“Husband~ Husband~ I want to eat starch sausage~”
“Buy me one~”
Yu Chen’s antics quickly drew the attention of passersby. People slowed their steps one after another, all curious as they stared at this absurdly beautiful boy.
Suppressing a smile, He Zhen stepped forward and covered Yu Chen’s mouth.
Yu Chen immediately pushed his luck and sucked hard at He Zhen’s palm.
He Zhen did not dodge. Instead, he quietly whispered by Yu Chen’s ear, “Fine. I’ll buy it for you.”
A triumphant smile spread across Yu Chen’s face, and he deliberately rubbed against He Zhen. “Thank you, Husband.”
The smile on He Zhen’s face was silent and faint.
Holding Yu Chen’s hand, he led him to the vendor’s stall. “Hello, we’d like starch sausage.”
Yu Chen raised two fingers. “We want two! Extra sauce and lots of cumin.”
The vendor kept smiling as he watched them, clearly having just seen them fooling around. As he brushed on the sauce, he quietly listened to the two of them talk.
“Yu Chenchen, do you really like starch sausage that much?”
“Yes.” Yu Chen eagerly took one, biting into it in huge bites, steam puffing from his mouth. “I think it’s especially delicious. If I could eat one a day, I could die without regrets.”
“Don’t say nonsense.” He Zhen flicked Yu Chen on the forehead, then seriously thought it over. “Later I’ll have them buy a sausage grill for the house and make the kitchen staff learn how to make grilled sausage. Cleaner and more hygienic.”
Yu Chen smiled sweetly. “Can they guarantee it’ll taste the same?”
“They probably can.” He Zhen was the type to act immediately. He put the task of buying a sausage machine straight onto Li Huan.
Li Huan was keeping Old Master He company while he read. When he received the message, he found it rather absurd. Sending a chef out to learn the secret of making starch sausage? Just one guess and he knew it had to be for that little glutton Yu Chen.
So he replied: “Xiao Zhen, sending the chef out to learn might be a little inappropriate. We’re short on staff lately.”
He Zhen replied: “Then I’ll learn it myself and grill them for Yu Chen later.”
Li Huan: “…”
“Boss, what are you doing?” While He Zhen was replying to messages, Yu Chen had already secretly bought another sausage. He Zhen answered seriously, “Arranging for someone to make starch sausage for you.”
Yu Chen had thought He Zhen was joking. “You’re really buying it?”
He Zhen said, “Yes. So you’ll stop thinking about it every day.”
Yu Chen was eating so fast that the heat made his words come out garbled. “You know what? Right now, you’re especially cool.”
The warm-up for the fireworks show had already ended.
A burst of colorful fire bloomed brilliantly behind Yu Chen.
His brows and eyes softened. “I’m making a heart for you.”
He Zhen took his hand and led him through the crowd to meet up with Xiao Yu and the others.
“Mm. I’ve received your feelings.”
The grip of He Zhen’s hand tightened bit by bit.
“Of course I have to be good to you.”
With a bang, countless fireworks shot up from the ground. In the next instant, the night sky was completely filled with dazzling color.
“Mm-hmm!” Yu Chen covered both ears excitedly, and in his beautiful pupils was the romantic fading of one firework after another.
Perhaps worried Yu Chen would mind what happened earlier, He Zhen deliberately explained, “Yu Chenchen, I didn’t mean to stop you from calling me…”
Yu Chen’s whole mind was on the fireworks, and he did not hear clearly what He Zhen said. But out of respect, he still nodded very seriously in response.
He Zhen’s expression was earnest. “At our age, it’s not suitable for us to date early. We should focus on studying. You haven’t even entered puberty yet. For now, I only want to take good care of you and help you get into Fudan with me.”
Yu Chen nodded desperately and even made an “OK” sign with his hand.
He Zhen quietly let out a breath of relief and looked up at the fireworks.
“They’re so beautiful. I hope by this time next year, I’ll be 180.” Xiao Yu made his wish, then asked Fang Jingrao, “What about you?”
Fang Jingrao moved slowly. Dazzled for a moment by Xiao Yu’s smile, he answered, “Next year… I want to fall in love.”
Xiao Yu’s eyes were full of disdain, and he jerked his chin toward He Zhi’an. He Zhi’an replied, “I don’t really have any wishes. As long as my family and I can stay healthy and happy every day, that’s enough.”
Xiao Yu turned toward the pair holding hands and secretly filmed the lovey-dovey little scene.
“Chubby Chenchen, you and your husband—”
“You and your Boss—do you have any New Year’s wishes?”
Yu Chen tilted his head lightly. “What?”
Speechless, Xiao Yu repeated himself.
“My New Year’s wish is to hurry up and grow taller and grow up.”
“What’s so good about growing up?” He Zhi’an objected. “Adults all work really hard. My dad has to stay busy until very late every day before he can go sleep with my mom.”
Yu Chen wrinkled his nose slightly. “But I still want to grow up as soon as possible. Because…”
A smile spread across his face, and he looked straight at He Zhen.
Once he grew up, he could make money and be filial to both his dad and He Zhen.
He Zhen held that bright gaze for a long time.
After seeming to interpret it for a while, he understood what Yu Chen meant.
Yu Chen really did seem to want to marry him very much.
Then how disappointing must the things he had just said have been to Yu Chen?
He had read related news about same-sex marriage. Although people kept talking about it being implemented, it still had not been written into law.
If it still was not possible by the time they were adults, then he would make a marriage certificate for Yu Chen himself and leave a will giving half his money to him.
That way, Yu Chen probably would not feel quite so sad.
At that moment, the night sky, which had been quiet for a while, lit up once again with clusters of fireworks.
Yu Chen pointed excitedly. “Boss! Look!”
Following the direction Yu Chen pointed, He Zhen saw that the fireworks had formed a giant flame-colored “LOVE.”
As though making up his mind, He Zhen said, “Yu Chenchen.”
Yu Chen was fully focused on the fireworks, covering his ears now and then. “Hm?”
He Zhen said, “If you think university is too late, then high school is fine too. It’s just that we still won’t be of legal age, so we can only get engaged.”
Yu Chen’s thoughts were completely drawn away by the fireworks. He was a little curious why his Boss was talking so much tonight, mumbling a whole stream of things.
“Not late, not late. We’ll do whatever you say.” As the fireworks bloomed, Yu Chen’s pupils widened, and his gentle eyes curved into crescents. “Boss, look at the fireworks. Don’t look at me.”
A trace of slight displeasure appeared in He Zhen’s expression.
“Mm.”
He looked back up at the sky, but compared to Yu Chen’s smiling face, it suddenly all seemed dull and tasteless.
He glanced at Yu Chen again and silently began considering the style of the engagement banquet.
Yu Chen would probably like something more romantic and bright.
“Wow! Another round of fireworks! Pink ones!”
Yu Chen threw open his arms toward He Zhen. “Boss, Boss! Happy New Year!”
He Zhen blinked once and pulled Yu Chen into his arms.
“Happy New Year, Yu Chenchen.”
Since Yu Chen was in such a hurry, then high school it would be.
Three years later, at the military training grounds on the outskirts of Hai City—
“Seven whole days of military training? Ahhh, I’m seriously going to lose my mind!”
“Xiao Yu, we’re already lucky. If it hadn’t been suddenly canceled by rain when we moved up to middle school, we would’ve suffered through this twice.”
“I just hope the two of us end up in the same dorm. If I get a roommate who doesn’t care about hygiene, their stinky feet will kill me.”
At the entrance to the training grounds, masses of students were dragging their luggage inside one after another.
Today was August 24th, the first day of military training at Hongwen High School.
Under the blazing summer heat, Young Master Xiao was already sweaty all over his forehead, so tired he wished his butler could just drag his luggage into the dorm for him.
“Fang Jingrao, have you seen Chubby Chenchen and his husband?”
Fang Jingrao answered slowly, “No.”
Three years had passed, and the two boys had changed quite a lot. Fang Jingrao was not short anymore—he had now shot up to 179. As for Xiao Yu, he had grown even more handsome. On top of his wealthy background, he was also extremely generous. On the very first day of registration, he had treated the whole class to McDonald’s. Before school had even officially started, he had already become one of the school’s popular figures.
“With Chubby Chenchen’s dawdling personality, the two of them are probably going to be the last ones to check in.” Xiao Yu led Fang Jingrao to the dormitory building and looked up, searching for their names.
At that exact moment, Li Ye had just finished checking the dorm roster and turned back to greet them. Xiao Yu did not really like Li Ye, but he still put on a show. “Morning.”
Li Ye nodded. “We’re in the same dorm. I’m heading up first.”
Xiao Yu was startled and immediately rose up on tiptoe to look. Only after seeing his own name next to Fang Jingrao’s did he finally relax.
His dad had not lied to him—putting in a word with the principal really did work.
“Let’s go.” Following behind Li Ye, Xiao Yu noticed that after a single summer, Li Ye had grown quite a bit taller. Behind them followed two or three girls, whispering and giggling, their eyes full of shy delight.
“Tch. Have they never seen a handsome guy before?” Xiao Yu muttered. “Is it really that serious? If you ask me, Li Ye’s looks are only about a six or seven.”
Fang Jingrao, helping Xiao Yu carry his suitcase, said gloomily, “Li Ye is only a six or seven? Then who do you think is the most handsome in our school?”
For years, Hongwen High School had maintained an 80% admission rate into 985 universities in the college entrance exams, making it the top key high school in Hai City and also the leading aristocratic high school. Plenty of rich families wanted to send their children there.
But getting into this school was not just about being rich—the students had to have strong grades too. Even the lowest-ranked admitted student this year had scored 600 on the entrance exam.
“What do I think?” Xiao Yu lifted his brow proudly, his tone full of a young boy’s swagger. “Even though I can’t stand He Zhen, I have to admit his face is pretty top-tier.”
Fang Jingrao, however, had a different opinion. “I think Yu Chen looks the best.” As he said it, his ears turned red. “He’s the best-looking person I’ve ever seen.”
Xiao Yu frowned. “I’m talking about handsome. You’re talking about beautiful.”
Rarely did Fang Jingrao argue with him, but now he did. “Even in terms of looks ranking, Yu Chen is still number one.”
“Tch. Your whole brain is full of Yu Chen.” Xiao Yu teased him. “Hey, don’t tell me you actually like Yu Chen?”
Just this year, same-sex marriage had officially become legal. More and more boys getting married to other boys had already become something people saw all the time.
On campus, boys being pursued by other boys was still uncommon, but it was no longer considered anything shocking.
“I don’t like him.” Fang Jingrao explained seriously. “I just think Chenchen is very cute, and I feel honored to be his friend. And besides…”
Xiao Yu asked, “And besides what?”
Fang Jingrao’s voice dropped low. “And besides, Chenchen and Brother Zhen are so close. How could I like him? That wouldn’t be right.”
Two days ago, when He Zhen and Yu Chen had come to collect their textbooks, they had nearly blown up the entire Hongwen High School. Those who had known them since childhood were more or less used to it. But this year’s exam had brought in many new students, and just yesterday one first-year student had actually confessed to He Zhen directly on the school forum. To this day, it was still pinned at the very top.
“Brother Zhen’s got to be at least 185 now, right?”
Fang Jingrao pressed his lips together lightly.
He Zhen had scored 722 on the high school entrance exam, ranking third in the entire city—and that was still under the condition that he had a high fever and underperformed. He was a top student, a rich young master, and one of the best-looking people around. How could anyone not envy that?
“I suspect that with shoes on, he’s probably 187.” Xiao Yu hurried him along. “Come on, we need to grab a lower bunk.”
“Oh.” Fang Jingrao responded slowly. But just before they reached the dorm, he suddenly asked, “Little Fish, do you think Brother Zhen and Chenchen really are that kind of relationship?”
“You mean the child bride thing?” Xiao Yu laughed.
“Mm.” Fang Jingrao nodded.
Xiao Yu analyzed, “That started as a joke, didn’t it? But I do think the two of them have potential.”
At fifteen or sixteen, it was the age when people were most full of longing for love. High school students had huge academic pressure, so aside from socializing, the thing they talked about most was romance.
Fang Jingrao asked, “You think they like each other?”
Xiao Yu clicked his tongue. “Hard to say.”
Meanwhile, two hurried figures appeared at the gate.
“Boss, hurry up and go grab the bed. I don’t want the top bunk.”
The boy’s voice was especially soft and gentle. Although he had already gone through voice change, it had not turned rough or low. Instead, it was as clean and sweet as spring water, making people instinctively want to get closer.
“Please. I swear I won’t oversleep again.”
Hearing that, He Zhen, who had been walking in front, finally responded.
“So you do know oversleeping is wrong?”
His Adam’s apple rolled as he spoke in a low voice. “The way you were acting all righteous just now almost made me think I was the one at fault.”
Only an hour ago, Yu Chen had finally been willing to crawl out of bed. He and Xiao Yu had stayed up far too late playing games last night and had not gone to sleep until three in the morning. Originally, he had wanted to go back to his own room so he would not disturb He Zhen, but He Zhen absolutely refused to let him.
Yesterday had already been the fourth time Li Huan suggested this year that they sleep separately. Yu Chen did not care at all—he could sleep anywhere. But He Zhen used the excuse that it was inconvenient to tutor him if they slept apart, and kept rejecting the idea again and again.
Yu Chen kept thinking about it. Tutoring really was not something that required them to live together, was it? His room was only a few steps away from He Zhen’s bedroom, at most twenty meters. If that still did not count as convenient, then what did—sleeping in the same quilt?
Of course, He Zhen was his Boss.
A Boss’s words still had to be obeyed.
As the little follower, Yu Chen simply thought He Zhen’s excuse was slightly clumsy. He had been He Zhen’s little follower for so many years—how could he not know what He Zhen was thinking?
He Zhen was nothing more than used to holding him while sleeping and couldn’t fall asleep without him.
“I was wrong. As long as you help me get a lower bunk, I’ll let you punish me however you want.” Yu Chen darted him a sidelong glance. “If that still doesn’t work, then tonight you can tie me up and hang me and whip me.”
He Zhen’s eyes darkened abruptly. “Fine.”
Yu Chen immediately pouted. “You’d really bear to?”
He Zhen ignored him, and the smile at his lips spread of its own accord. In the brief instant Yu Chen was distracted, he had already taken off with his long legs, sprinting toward the dorm building.
All along the way, He Zhen drew countless stares.
The boy had grown even more mature now. His straight back was full of strength, and his two long, straight legs carried him with steady steps and smooth lines. Years of exercise had shaped the clear contours of his chest and waist. He gave off a kind of natural youthful vigor, wanton and striking.
Arriving at the dorm entrance, he used his height advantage to spot his and Yu Chen’s names immediately.
Sure enough, the two of them had been assigned to the same dorm.
Carrying their room card and hauling both of their suitcases, he moved upstairs quickly. Nearby, students dragging luggage and panting from exhaustion stared at the calm-faced He Zhen in astonishment. Only after he was gone did they dare whisper quietly with their friends.
Thanks to hurrying there in time, He Zhen managed to grab the very last lower bunk.
“Hey, He Zhen.”
The boy sitting opposite him was named Chen Ru, one of He Zhen’s middle school classmates. He had already introduced himself to the others in the dorm and quickly gotten along with them.
“What a coincidence. We’re in the same class again.”
He Zhen nodded politely. “Hello. We meet again.”
Chen Ru knew exactly how insanely rich He Zhen’s family was. Back in middle school, Chen Ru had been a scholarship student at Hongwen Middle School and came from an ordinary family. He had thought the rich second-generation kids in his class were already ridiculously wealthy, but once someone explained He Zhen’s background to him, his jaw had almost hit the floor.
The simplest way to put it was—
All the trade ports in Hai City belonged to He Zhen’s family.
And if the He family wanted to, buying every high-end mall in Hai City would be effortless.
Chen Ru let out a noobish sigh.
He had actually gotten to see a super-rich second-generation heir up close.
“Hi, you guys.” A tall, sturdy boy carrying both a suitcase and an Oxford cloth bag walked in. The moment he saw Chen Ru and He Zhen, a simple-minded grin instantly appeared on his face. “What a coincidence. He Zhen, Chen Ru, you’re here too.”
Chen Ru greeted him, “PE rep, guess we’re really fated.”
“Yeah, it’s great being in the same dorm as you guys.” The PE rep saw that only one upper bunk remained and efficiently tossed his luggage up there. “If my 100-meter time had been just 0.01 seconds slower, I wouldn’t have made it into the same high school as you.”
Chen Ru said, “Holy crap, then you’re really lucky.”
The PE rep’s name was Liu Chong, and by now he was already a big, tall guy at 185. He had gotten into Hongwen High because of his exceptional sports results—he was very clearly athlete material.
“He Zhen, I saw that Yu Chen is in our dorm too. Why isn’t he here?”
He Zhen was in the middle of making the bed. “He’s behind me. He’ll be here any minute.”
“Oh, okay.” Liu Chong had spent an entire summer practicing running and had gotten much darker. “That’s great. I can finally see Yu Chen again.”
Back then, on PE class, he had once crashed into Yu Chen. It was precisely because Yu Chen had been so understanding that he had not ended up having to pay compensation or bring his parents in. His family’s financial situation was poor, and he had always been living on aid grants. If he had really hurt someone badly, the medical fees alone would have ruined his family.
He Zhen had severe cleanliness issues and disinfected thoroughly everywhere he went.
Another dormmate—a chubby boy in glasses—quietly whispered to Chen Ru, “That’s He Zhen, right?”
Chen Ru leaned over toward him. “Mm. Super-rich second generation. The crown prince of Hefeng Group.”
The chubby boy’s tiny eyes instantly widened. “I can’t believe I actually get to be classmates with a young master. What an honor.”
Chen Ru smiled. “He’s actually pretty decent. Aside from being a bit cold, he’s completely different from those other rich second-generation guys—he never throws his weight around.”
The chubby boy let out a laugh. “I like rich second-generation guys who are upright and handsome.”
Chen Ru added, “He has a younger brother named Yu Chen, and he’s in our class too. He’s especially good to his brother—honestly, a bit overly doting. As long as you don’t bully his brother, everything’s fine.”
Chen Ru still remembered that in second year of middle school, there had been a boss’s son from the neighboring class who acted arrogantly. Because he got completely crushed by the debate team Yu Chen led in the English debate competition, he held a grudge and later gathered a group of people to block Yu Chen in the boys’ restroom and bully him.
Luckily, when Yu Chen didn’t come to class, He Zhen took the initiative to go look for him. The moment he found out those people were bullying Yu Chen, he punched every one of them.
According to what people said afterward, he beat them incredibly hard. If Yu Chen had not been pulling on him, they probably would have ended up being dragged to the emergency room.
After that incident, He Zhen had to write a self-criticism that was read aloud to the whole school. As for that group, they were expelled outright and transferred to other high schools.
“Got it. I definitely won’t bully anybody.” The chubby boy secretly watched He Zhen, his gaze curious as it drifted toward the doorway. He was growing more and more curious what kind of person He Zhen’s little brother looked like.
Meanwhile, the legendary “little brother” in question was leisurely licking an ice cream under a tree with his suitcase beside him.
“Are you a student from Hongwen High School?”
A boy in a light blue striped shirt suddenly came over to Yu Chen. “Sorry, but I can’t find the dorm building.”
Looking up, Yu Chen found that the boy was especially delicate and handsome. Standing straight beneath the blazing sun, he smiled in a way that made him look exactly like the male lead of the currently popular idol dramas—gentle and approachable.
“It’s diagonally across from here. Just turn the corner and you’ll see it.”
Yu Chen swallowed the rest of his ice cream in a few big bites and casually wiped his mouth. “I’ll take you there.”
The boy curved his eyes. “Thank you, classmate.”
Only after they started walking did Yu Chen realize the boy was very tall. Yu Chen himself was 174 with shoes on, while this boy seemed to be around 180.
He caught a faint scent of green mandarin and sea salt in the air. Curious, Yu Chen glanced at the boy’s refined, pretty profile and felt he looked unfamiliar.
“You weren’t from Hongwen Middle School, were you?”
“No.” The boy’s voice was very gentle. “I’m from the neighboring city. I transferred here because of my parents’ jobs.”
“Oh, I see.” Carrying his super cute kiddie suitcase, Yu Chen walked with light, cheerful steps. He liked the boy’s perfume very much. It was a fresh kind of scent, and the tail note carried a special sage fragrance that made one feel inexplicably clean and comfortable. It matched He Zhen’s temperament very well.
His Boss did not like wearing perfume.
But if he did, he would absolutely enchant a whole crowd—far more attractive than even the boy walking beside him.
“Your suitcase is really cute.” The boy spoke unhurriedly, as if he did not fit this blazing weather at all, clean youthful energy seeming to radiate straight out of his bones. “Does it hold much?”
“Oh, mine’s just full of daily necessities.”
Yu Chen was very fond of this mini One Piece suitcase and had insisted on bringing it before leaving. Li Huan could not persuade him otherwise and simply let him bring two. But there was no way He Zhen would let him drag two suitcases around, so he directly bought a giant oversized one and stuffed all their things into it together.
“My other stuff is with my brother.”
The boy smiled in surprise. “Your brother goes to the same school too?”
“Yeah, we’re in the same class.” Yu Chen could not help boasting, “He treats me especially well, and he’s tall and handsome too.”
The boy smiled easily. “I’m really envious of you.”
Chatting like that, the two of them soon reached the dorm building.
Almost all the students had already arrived. By the time it was their turn to check for their names, there weren’t many people left around.
“Lin Jiashu, 405.”
“Yu Chen, 405.”
“We’re in the same dorm.” Lin Jiashu curled his lips slightly. “We really are fated.”
A trace of pride showed on Yu Chen’s delicate features. “My brother and I are in the same dorm too. He definitely grabbed a lower bunk already.”
Lin Jiashu said, “Not bad. You got what you wanted.”
Inside the dorm, He Zhen had already finished arranging both of their beds and had fallen into a long stretch of thought. The bunks he had claimed were one above and one below, and the lower one naturally had to be reserved for Yu Chen.
But the bed was only 1.2 meters wide, so the two of them would be cramped if they slept together.
Still, He Zhen would rather be cramped than sleep separately from Yu Chen.
He didn’t even know since when, but he had grown more and more unable to do without Yu Chen. Of course, even when they were still little kids, there had already been signs of this habit. Otherwise, on Yu Chen’s very first day of kindergarten apart from him, He Zhen wouldn’t have secretly run off to see him.
But in the last two years, He Zhen had vaguely begun to feel that something was different.
This “difference” had likely become more and more obvious after he learned that same-sex marriage was legal.
For example, before, if he saw Yu Chen hanging out with other people, he would feel jealous or unhappy.
But now, he found he simply could not accept it at all—he even wanted to keep Yu Chen firmly tied to his side, make him look only at him, belong only to him.
Just as He Zhen was sorting through his feelings, that familiar figure appeared in the doorway.
“Oh, right—are you wearing perfume?”
Once he felt more comfortable with someone, Yu Chen immediately began fishing for information. He was planning to buy a bottle for He Zhen when he had time and give it to him as a National Day gift.
Lin Jiashu did not hide it. “Do you like it that much? I brought it in my suitcase. Want to try some?”
“Huh? Really?” By then Yu Chen had already stepped into the dorm. After casually lifting his chin at He Zhen, he eagerly hurried over to Lin Jiashu and shamelessly said, “Then let me try.”
Lin Jiashu was amused by him and obligingly took out a bottle of pale blue perfume from his suitcase. He even asked Yu Chen’s opinion. “Do you want it sprayed on your wrist or behind your ear?”
Yu Chen’s handsome brows lifted slightly. “There’s even that much to it?”
Lin Jiashu smiled with a trace of suggestiveness. “You’re so good-looking, I thought you’d… know.”
This little straight boy Yu Chen, of course, did not know. “I’ve never used it before.”
Lin Jiashu gave a mysterious smile. “Then… I’ll spray it behind your ear.”
A trace of secret joy hid in Yu Chen’s moist black eyes. He obediently turned around and waited for Lin Jiashu to spray him.
Later, he could let He Zhen smell it.
If He Zhen liked it, he’d order it immediately.
If he smelled like this while sleeping in He Zhen’s arms, wouldn’t that feel wonderful?
The more Yu Chen thought about it, the more delighted he became, completely failing to notice that he was being watched by a pair of utterly unreadable eyes.
The cool perfume mist landed behind Yu Chen’s ear.
He tucked in his neck slightly, his eyes curving in delight like someone with no worldly knowledge at all.
Only when Yu Chen finally noticed He Zhen did he see that He Zhen had coldly tossed down Yu Chen’s pajamas in his hand and, without saying a word, walked out of the dorm.
