Chapter 48: Intimate Whispers
Until he was actually lying in bed with the youth, Feng Xun still suspected he was dreaming.
But even if it were a dream, he wouldn’t have dared to imagine anything this wonderful. Just moments ago, while he stood there frozen, the youth had crawled to the edge of the bed, tugged on his arm, and coaxed him sweetly, actively pulling him onto the mattress.
Amidst the repetitive calls of “Wife, wife, hurry up and come here,” he felt like a thoroughly dazed, infatuated ruler as he allowed himself to be dragged into bed.
Having successfully coaxed and persuaded his wife into bed, Jian Tang felt highly satisfied.
A wife in early pregnancy was fragile and needed to sleep on time. He would monitor his partner’s schedule to ensure that the body nurturing their baby received ample rest.
Jian Tang fluffed the pillows, pressed his wife down to lie flat, tucked the blanket securely around him, and finally checked the temperature of the central air conditioning. Once everything was set, he turned off the lights.
Unlike the small bed in the secondary bedroom, Feng Xun’s room was the master bedroom. It featured a massive bed over two meters wide, spacious enough to easily accommodate three people.
Jian Tang rolled across the vast bed, thinking to himself how lonely and sorrowful it must be for a pregnant wife suffering from pathological attachment to sleep in such a massive bed all by himself.
Thank goodness he had felt something was amiss after delivering the clothes—his wife’s expression at the time had been far too bizarre—so he actively ran over to keep him company.
I really am a brilliant little monster!
Jian Tang gave himself a silent thumbs-up in his heart. Like a nimble little sweet dumpling, he rolled right back to his wife’s side and affectionately looped his arms around the man’s arm.
His wife’s body was wonderfully warm, his body temperature seeming a fraction higher than usual. But the muscles in his arm… huh? Why were they wound so tight?
“Wife?” Jian Tang squeezed the rock-hard muscle. “Does it feel uncomfortable here? Do you want me to give you a massage?”
The pleasant scent of fresh grass lingered around his nose. Feeling the warm, soft, and supple youth pressing close against his side, half of Feng Xun’s body went entirely rigid. “N-No need.”
Jian Tang blinked. Suddenly remembering something, his small hands actively began to knead and massage.
“It’s fine, it’s fine, let me rub it out for you.”
He actually understood absolutely nothing about massages, merely rubbing haphazardly over the tightest areas. As he massaged along, his small hands strayed from the arm, migrating onto the man’s torso.
This was Jian Tang’s little scheme: he wanted to take this opportunity to inspect whether any other changes had occurred in his wife’s body.
Because different species of monsters resulted in varied pregnancy reactions in human wives, some would experience chest expansion, some would experience thickening waists, some would show signs of a protruding belly in early pregnancy, and some might even begin secreting milk on the very first day.
Jian Tang wasn’t sure which category his wife would fall into, but given that the man had displayed a pathological attachment response this early, there would highly likely be other physical signs on his body.
Feng Xun could naturally feel the youth’s restless hands. He didn’t utter a syllable, silently allowing the other party to feel him up.
Of course, while it was technically “feeling him up,” it was hard to say who was actually enjoying it more.
Under the guise of a “massage,” Jian Tang thoroughly felt up his wife’s robust chest muscles but didn’t sense any changes. He even discreetly buried his nose to take a sniff, but caught no scent of milk.
Well, it looks like there’s nothing unusual here.
His small hands migrated further down, rubbing across the man’s abdomen. Feng Xun quietly drew in a deep breath, making his eight abdominal muscles stand out even more rigidly.
Subsequently, he secured the youth’s praise exactly as he had hoped: “Wife, your build is spectacular! Did you develop such an incredible set of abs through arduous, daily workouts?”
Feng Xun’s tone was casual and nonchalant. “It’s decent. You just get them from working out casually.”
“Ohhh, then you must be naturally gifted!”
Having finished his praise, Jian Tang discreetly withdrew his hand, feeling a bit guilty: Once the belly grows larger later on, will the abs vanish too?
I hope when the time comes, my wife won’t pin me down and thrash me, considering he ‘gets them from working out casually’…
The next location to inspect was the stomach.
Jian Tang didn’t dare use the crude technique he had employed earlier. His kneading movements were exceptionally gentle and cautious, terrified that excessive force would crush the tiny sprout that had just taken root inside.
The moment he thought about how that tiny sprout had been planted using his own little seeds, Jian Tang’s mood turned highly complex.
I really am quite remarkable… to think I actually scored a hit despite such a low probability of pregnancy.
He hadn’t expected that so shortly after bringing his wife home, he could already begin looking forward to the blissful days of a cozy family life with a wife and child.
Filled with a torrent of emotions, he finished inspecting the stomach but found no obvious changes. Jian Tang’s small hands continued further down.
The moment his hand touched the V-line, it was suddenly captured.
“Little Tang.” The man pinned his hand down forcefully, his palm burning hot, his voice raspy. “It’s very late. Sleep.”
As an eerie monster, Jian Tang possessed excellent night vision. He looked at his wife in bewilderment. The man’s lips were tightly pressed together, looking as though he were desperately suppressing something, and his face was a bit flushed—though he wasn’t sure if it was just from the heat.
He then directed his gaze toward the area he had failed to inspect… huh?
Separated by a thin, soft blanket, Jian Tang saw a certain area protruding slightly, resembling a small hill.
“…”
Discovered! An anomaly on my wife’s body!
Jian Tang blinked. He didn’t act recklessly, obediently relaxing the strength in his hand.
“Okay,” he nodded obediently. “I’ll lie down and sleep. I’m actually a bit sleepy too.”
Believing his words, Feng Xun released his grip.
The exact instant the constraint vanished, Jian Tang unleashed explosive hand speed, cleanly whipping the thin blanket aside with a shhhk while sliding his other hand straight inside.
Hehe, since you launched a sneak attack and stripped my pants yesterday, I’m going to launch a sneak attack on you today!
“!!!”
Caught completely off guard by the sudden grab, Feng Xun’s breathing turned heavy and ragged instantly. “Little Tang!”
Jian Tang nimbly dodged his wife’s hand as it reached out to seize him, hurriedly sneaking a few more rubs.
Huh?
It doesn’t seem like an anomaly.
This… isn’t this exactly what his wife referred to as a situation every human male faces?
If there was any difference, it was likely that his was a tiny pod, while his wife’s was a massive pod, looking exceptionally engorged and brimming with seeds.
“Little Tang, stop fooling around.”
Feng Xun sat up with a trace of dishevelment, forcefully capturing the youth’s hand. His voice carried a rare hint of sternness: “Go to sleep immediately.”
The youth didn’t speak, staring at him silently. His emerald eyes resembled a kitten’s, sparkling brightly in the dark night.
Then, he uttered shocking words—
“Wife, let me help you.”
Jian Tang rubbed his hands together, rolling up his sleeves as he prepared to step up.
“I’ll help you let your little seeds out!”
The time to test the results of his wife’s teaching yesterday had arrived!
He would prove that he was an excellent student and would absolutely never disappoint his teacher!
Feng Xun reached out with quick reflexes to pin him down, panting slightly. “No need.”
Jian Tang: “?”
Jian Tang: “Wife, are you worried my technique won’t be good?”
“No,” Feng Xun said dryly. “I just… just don’t want you to be too tired.”
“I’m not tired,” Jian Tang revealed a smile. “If you’re uneasy, you can look and guide me, or the two of us can do it together.” Just like yesterday.
“Truly no need. Actually… actually it’s fine to just leave it alone.”
“? Wife, didn’t you say yesterday that one shouldn’t suppress it, and releasing it is better for the body?”
Feng Xun: “…”
The bullet shot yesterday had precisely struck the center of his forehead today.
“Wife, you said it yourself—household life requires equality between both parties.” Jian Tang patiently persuaded his stoic wife, guiding him step by step. “You helped me yesterday, so of course I should help you today. This is my duty. Just let me do it.”
Feng Xun gripped the youth’s hand tightly. Because his own palm was far too scorching, the youth’s soft small hand felt slightly cool by contrast. He couldn’t resist lightly rubbing his palm against it, wanting to utilize that faint coolness to sober up his burning brain.
“Little Tang,” the man spoke slowly, his voice raspy to a degree that felt unfamiliar even to himself.
“This kind of thing… cannot be casual minimized into a form of help.”
Jian Tang didn’t understand. “But you helped me yesterday, wife.”
“That was because… you held onto me back then and said you needed help.”
“Wife, do you not need my help right now?”
Feng Xun didn’t speak.
The two were nestled very close together, and the darkness amplified their perception. The pleasant fragrance of fresh grass played havoc with his increasingly heavy breathing. He could clearly hear the heart inside his chest pounding violently, his soaring desire clashing and twisting fiercely against his willpower, causing his blood vessels to throb continuously.
He understood very clearly that as long as he uttered the word “okay,” the desire roasting and tormenting him would instantly find a release channel. No matter what he wanted to do, or how over the line he behaved, the other party wouldn’t refuse, compliantly cooperating and letting him have his way completely.
But precisely because this child was so innocent and pure, so entirely defenseless, and trusted and relied on him with all his soul, he absolutely could not do this.
Feng Xun closed his eyes, exhaling a heavy breath of turbid air.
“Yeah,” he said. “I don’t need it.”
Jian Tang blinked in confusion. Really?
Although his wife claimed he didn’t need it, he held a powerful intuition—the man needed it immensely.
In fact, he wanted it more than anything.
This powerful sense of contradiction irresistibly reminded him of past events: back when he said he had to work overtime through the night and couldn’t return home, his wife had also behaved like this, claiming it was fine and he didn’t need to return. Yet when he actually did return, the man was thoroughly happy.
Human emotions truly are so difficult to comprehend. The little monster sighed silently.
Little Yu had even said his wife liked him, but was a human’s display of affection really this duplicitous? Desperately wanting something, yet stubbornly and awkwardly pushing the other party away?
At any rate, eerie monsters would never behave like this, and he wouldn’t either.
Whenever he wanted to achieve something, once he locked onto a target, he wouldn’t hesitate or overthink; he would focus his entire mind on driving it to completion. Just like saving up points to purchase a wife—using a meager salary to complete a destined mission worth one hundred million points seemed like an absolute fantasy, yet in the end, he had still accomplished it.
If his wife absolutely required the phrase “I need it” before allowing him to help, he would just figure out a way to make him voice it himself.
The corners of Jian Tang’s mouth curved up, before he swiftly flattened his lips again, putting on a dejected, head-lowered expression.
“Alright then.” His voice sounded highly listless. “Unloose me, wife. I won’t help you anymore.”
Feng Xun inspected him searchingly—when he had released his grip earlier, Little Tang had launched a sudden sneak attack. This time, he had to be a bit more cautious.
“It’s fine if you don’t loosen your grip either,” Jian Tang made a motion to lie down. “I’m tired. Just keep me bound like this while we sleep.”
Feng Xun could only release his grip.
Free from restraint, Jian Tang instantly turned the tables, lunging forcefully into the man’s embrace to give him a bear hug.
“If you dare haul me off, I will never embrace you again!” Jian Tang threatened fiercely while holding his wife tightly, resembling a flailing little wildcat. “And I will cry, cry incredibly loudly!”
True to his expectations, Feng Xun didn’t dare move a muscle.
The rustle of shifting fabric echoed in the darkness. While keeping a tight hold on his wife, Jian Tang adjusted his posture, straddling right over the man.
Feng Xun: “…”
He drew in a deep breath, a melodramatic line he had read somewhere before flashing through his mind—Baby, you’re playing with fire.
“Wife,” Jian Tang smiled slyly. “Do you need help now?”
“…”
“Hmm? Speak louder, I can’t hear you.”
“Little Tang,” Feng Xun gripped the youth’s waist firmly, wanting to halt his restless shifting. “Don’t push me.”
“I’m not pushing you. I just feel pressed, it’s uncomfortable to sit like this.”
“If it’s uncomfortable, then get off.”
“I won’t,” Jian Tang adopted the textbook face of a smooth playboy, leaning close to the man’s ear to blow a gentle breath. “I’m just rubbing against you, just rubbing. My hands haven’t even slipped inside.”
“…”
The hand clamping onto his waist gradually loosened, resembling a pair of shackles slowly slipping away. Even wishing to fulfill its duty, it was ultimately powerless against the tide.
Jian Tang smiled: he knew his wife couldn’t bear to push him away; he still required help.
Suddenly, the tip of the youth’s ear tingled, and his body gave a violent shiver.
His wife had actually licked his ear.
The wet, hot tip of his tongue swept along his auricle, and a scorching hand slowly covered the back of his neck, gently kneading the soft flesh there.
“Be good, get down on your own,” the man said in a raspy voice. “Before I change my mind.”
The scorching breath brushed against the side of his ear, and Jian Tang’s heartbeat accelerated inexplicably. His wife had also lightly caressed the back of his neck this morning. Even though it was the exact same movement, the sensation at this moment was entirely different.
It felt as though… as though some thick, molten current was slowly surging over, quietly surrounding him and malevolently swallowing him down according to a long-brewed plot.
“I-I won’t,” he stiffened his neck and spoke stubbornly, but his confidence was visibly beginning to falter. “I just wanted to hold you, is this request very overordinate? It’s not. So I’m not getting down.”
Jian Tang didn’t see that the man’s ash-gray eyes had gradually darkened, resembling a beast about to launch a hunt, his pupils expanding slightly as his gaze locked onto him unblinkingly.
An innocent, ignorant child required nurturing and treasuring; a mischievous, unruly brat… required a lesson and a punishment.
Amidst the darkness, Jian Tang caught a low chuckle resonating from the man’s chest, and the other party’s lips once more pressed against the tip of his ear.
It was highly restrained at first, stroke after stroke, resembling a tender, continuous kiss. Later it grew bolder and more rapacious, until he engulfed the entire earlobe, as if sucking on a sweet piece of candy.
The sensation was profoundly bizarre. Jian Tang’s body turned so soft he could barely remain seated, and his crown felt completely numb. He painstakingly offered a couple of pushes to resist, but the strength resembled the light scratch of a cat, drawing a low chuckle from the other party.
“Scared now?” Amidst their intimate whispers, he felt his ear taken into a heavy bite by his wife. “Too late.”
His waist was violently clamped, and then the world spun as both of them tumbled onto the bed.
Jian Tang panted heavily. Just as he rejoiced that his wife was no longer eating his ear, he was hauled tightly into the man’s embrace.
“Little Tang.”
The hugging bodies left absolutely zero space between them. Jian Tang could feel the man’s powerful heartbeat—so fast, so heavy, vibrating until the heart within his own chest also lost its rhythm entirely.
“I’ll ask you one last time—are you certain you want to help me?”
The air was scorching and thin. Jian Tang let out a dazed “mm,” completely oblivious to how dangerous of a door he had just swung wide open.
“…Alright.”
His wife once again took hold of his hand. This time it was no longer to intercept him, but rather to actively guide him as he pressed it over.
His ear was bitten once more, the tingly, numbing heat leaving Jian Tang’s head swimming. Amidst the dizzying daze, he heard his wife speak.
“The methods of helping… aren’t limited to just one.”
“There are still plenty of things you need to learn.”
“Rest assured, I’ll teach them to you bit by bit… teach you all of it.”
“You’ll be a good student, right, Little Tang?”
