I Can Hear My Straight Roommate’s Thoughts – CH63

Chapter 63

The shower stall was stiflingly hot, and a fine sheen of sweat had formed over Xie Ning’s body. Beads of perspiration slid over his delicate skin, leaving winding trails down his calves.

Even though Xie Ning was sitting, he still could not sit steadily, while Pei Zhi went on kissing him slowly.

His lips pressed over with rolling heat, his hot breath falling along with his body warmth. The way he kissed now was nothing like his earlier fierce intensity. Instead, it was slow, careful, and patient, kissing him little by little.

Used to Pei Zhi’s rough, blunt kisses, Xie Ning actually found this lingering, water-soft kiss even harder to bear. The moment he tried to rise and avoid him, a large hand clamped firmly around his ankle while his lower back was pressed back into place, and the kiss deepened again.

Xie Ning was kissed until he could barely stay sitting upright, yet Pei Zhi still kissed and sucked at him with reckless abandon, making loud, wet sounds.

While dodging, Xie Ning accidentally turned part of the shower control. Water suddenly poured down, splashing all over Pei Zhi’s face and making him look a complete mess.

In the corner of the shower, Pei Zhi paid no attention at all, still absorbed in sucking at Xie Ning. The kiss was far too dense and intense for Xie Ning to bear. He was kissed until saliva ran uncontrollably from his mouth, but Pei Zhi’s kisses only grew more wicked, almost desperate in the way he licked and sucked, eating at his little mouth as if he wanted to taste it inside and out.

Xie Ning wanted to escape, or at least get farther away from him, but there was nowhere to go. The frosted glass behind him cut off all retreat, and Pei Zhi seemed to have arranged it that way on purpose.

Warm white breath escaped between their rubbing lips, along with an invisible sweet scent hanging all around them.

Pei Zhi lifted his head and looked at Xie Ning’s face, and Xie Ning looked down at him blankly. Xie Ning seemed to be having trouble breathing, his gaze unfocused, his eyes damp and dazed.

Every time Pei Zhi’s gaze dropped lower, Xie Ning’s lashes trembled slightly.

His dark hair was soaked through. Pei Zhi casually brushed his wet fringe back, revealing his damp face. Afraid Xie Ning would not be able to stay steady, he put a hand on Xie Ning’s waist and slowly stood up, lifting him into his arms.

Then he lowered his head again to catch Xie Ning’s lips. They were soft, like jelly, and still carried that tempting sweetness.

The Xie Ning who had been somewhat obedient just moments ago suddenly shook his head hard. If one looked closely, there was even a trace of dislike between his damp, muddled brows.

“What’s wrong?” Pei Zhi pretended not to understand. “I just wanted you to taste it. Baby, it’s really sweet.”

“Really, really sweet…”

As he spoke, Pei Zhi’s expression became entranced again. Like a wolf that could never be fed enough, he lowered his head and kissed him again.

His tongue slid into Xie Ning’s little mouth, sucking and licking with obscene intimacy. The skin around them became glossy with moisture, and even his chin was soaked.

Xie Ning was kissed until he nearly lost his balance again. He tried hard to steady himself, but in the end he still sank down weakly. The hot water from the shower had steamed the stall until it was almost too warm, and his lower belly felt hot from it too.

The water vapor drifting around them seemed to enter his brain with every breath. Xie Ning’s mind went hazy, but his hearing became strangely sharp, so sharp that he could clearly catch Pei Zhi’s breathing.

And the loud swallowing sounds every time Pei Zhi drank down what he drew from him.

“Even prettier than on video.”

Pei Zhi sounded almost entranced. His words were a little muffled, though, because his face was buried there, and even his high nose bridge looked slightly distorted.

“Baby, so good.” After all, he had to stop briefly for air, or he might really drown.

Pei Zhi looked carefully, but unfortunately, because of his height, even kneeling on the floor did not let him see Xie Ning’s face at the same time. Unless he lowered himself even farther, almost lying flat on the floor.

But from that angle, he still would not be able to see his face clearly. So instead, he coaxed softly, “Baby, turn your face this way.”

Xie Ning slowly turned his face back. Even then, Pei Zhi still could not see all of him clearly, but this was enough.

At the very least, he could see those misted, reddened, empty-looking eyes, made especially beautiful by the water.

“So good.” Then, sounding puzzled, Pei Zhi added, “Why is there suddenly so much? Good thing I caught it in time, or it would’ve spilled everywhere.”

“It’s everywhere.”

“…”

Pei Zhi’s tone was perfectly calm, but the content made Xie Ning almost unable to stand it.

But Xie Ning had no way out. His skin hunger left him unable to even sit steadily, as if something had broken inside him, and only Pei Zhi’s support kept him upright.

After some time, Pei Zhi lifted him again and drew him against himself. Still hazy, Xie Ning’s face was kneaded like dough between Pei Zhi’s fingers for a while. Then Pei Zhi turned him around and picked him up face-to-face.

The way one would hold a child.

Pei Zhi held him face-to-face so that Xie Ning was nearly completely fitted into his arms. Pei Zhi’s body was very hot, hot enough that Xie Ning shivered slightly.

The moment he lifted his head, he met Pei Zhi’s eyes—eyes sharp with hunger.

Like the eyes of a beast starved to the brink, suddenly seeing prey at last, burning with a dim, dangerous light.

“This should be enough now,” Pei Zhi said, dropping a cryptic remark.

Enough? Enough for what? Xie Ning’s mind filled with confusion, then he clutched at Pei Zhi’s shoulders as if startled, his wet eyes wide with alarm.

Pei Zhi hugged him while kissing him, rubbing against him in a sticky, clingy way, soothing him as he did. “Be good, baby. It won’t be that bad.”

Pei Zhi had checked again and again already. Xie Ning was in good condition now. Nothing would go wrong.

But Xie Ning had never truly experienced this before. Both of them were new at this, and with something so new, clumsy moments were inevitable.

Especially for Xie Ning.

The unfamiliar sensation was genuinely frightening, and under that fear, his muscles tightened unconsciously. His whole body fell into a state of tension and defense.

Xie Ning’s face was flushed, but his expression held a clear trace of fear. His shoulders trembled slightly. Pei Zhi had barely started—hadn’t even gone far enough to really begin—when he noticed something was wrong.

And without a second’s hesitation, Pei Zhi immediately withdrew, then gathered him into his arms and soothed him.

“Did I scare you?” One hand patted his smooth back gently. Pei Zhi himself was still in a highly aroused state, yet he ignored it completely, focusing only on comforting Xie Ning. He kissed Xie Ning’s cheek. “It’s okay, it’s okay. I’m out now.”

Pei Zhi’s voice was low and rough, but because he deliberately softened it while comforting him, there was a kind of tender gentleness in it. Strictly speaking, this kind of tone did not suit him. His features were far too sharp and aggressive, and his frame much too large.

And yet, perhaps because the person in his arms was Xie Ning, it somehow fit.

Xie Ning’s frame was smaller than most men’s, making him look especially tall and lean. Usually his cold aura hid that, but in Pei Zhi’s arms, he looked undeniably slender and fragile.

His pink, rounded shoulder gleamed with a layer of water vapor. Against Pei Zhi’s broad, darker arms, his skin looked extraordinarily translucent. Xie Ning was still a little frightened—or perhaps not frightened, only shaken by the unfamiliarity.

Pei Zhi patiently patted his back, coaxing him, kissing him, repeating softly, “Don’t be afraid.”

Only after quite some time did Xie Ning slowly come back to himself. Realizing what had just happened, he said, “I’m not scared. I… I’m just not used to it yet.”

That sudden intrusion had truly startled him. Although he had mentally prepared himself, the moment it really happened, his body still reacted in a way that went against his thoughts.

Pei Zhi said, “It’s fine if you’re not used to it. We’re not in a hurry anyway. We’ll always be together, right? We can take this slowly. If you can’t do it now, that’s okay.”

After saying that, he fixed his gaze tightly on Xie Ning, waiting for his answer.

Xie Ning’s fingers unconsciously rested on Pei Zhi’s arm. His pale, trembling fingertips pressed into the darker skin, forming a faint trembling shadow.

His strength was very slight, and his voice was soft too. “Mm.”

It sounded almost like it had been hummed through his nose.

Pei Zhi abruptly let out a breath of relief.

It was as though he had just received some incredibly important promise. Joy flooded him, and he lowered his head to peck Xie Ning’s cheeks several times in a row, leaving wet traces all over them.

Noticing that Pei Zhi’s condition still looked terrible, and rather fierce, Xie Ning lifted his lashes and glanced down hesitantly.

Pei Zhi, however, said, “Don’t worry about it. It’ll calm down on its own soon.”

That was not very convincing.

Xie Ning was nestled tightly in Pei Zhi’s arms. No one understood better than he did how alarming Pei Zhi’s condition looked. He was not the sort of person who only thought of himself. After a moment’s thought, he spoke half-hesitantly.

“Then… should we try again?” Xie Ning said. “This time I’ll be mentally prepared. It should be fine.”

A large hand stroked lightly along his back, then moved to the nape of his neck and gently kneaded it twice. “Last time you said that too,” Pei Zhi murmured. “But you know I couldn’t handle it myself then either.”

Xie Ning’s brows drew together. He seemed to be recalling what had happened before, and a trace of distaste flickered across his expression. Pei Zhi found it amusing and lowered his face, coaxing softly, “We won’t go all the way. We’ll keep it on the surface. Is that okay?”

“It’ll also help you get used to me little by little.”

On the surface only?

At first Xie Ning did not understand what he meant. But gradually, he did.

Compared to something more direct, this more indirect way really might give him a buffer.

And Xie Ning agreed. He turned his back to Pei Zhi, only for Pei Zhi to scoop him up instead.

He froze for a second. In the dim light, he could vaguely make out their reflections in the glass. Pei Zhi had lifted him from behind, one arm hooked under his knees.

It looked very much like the way someone would hold up a small child to let them relieve themselves.

And that wasn’t even all. Pei Zhi suddenly carried him to the other side, where there was a mirror clouded with steam.

“Baby,” Pei Zhi said, “my hands are busy holding you now. Help me out.”

“Help me clean it up.”

Even with the mirror fogged over, Xie Ning could still see the rough outlines clearly. His toes pressed against the mirror, making a patch of clear glass.

Pei Zhi carried him higher and closer, clearly intending to use his feet to wipe the mirror clean bit by bit. The cold, smooth surface against the soles of his feet created a strangely unsettling sensation, and because his feet were wet, a dull rubbing sound kept coming from where they slid over the glass.

This was not an efficient way to clear the mirror, but eventually it created an irregular clear patch. Through it, Xie Ning could finally see himself.

His round toes pressed against the slick mirror, water running down the surface in winding trails. The pale blue veins on the tops of his feet stood out clearly, and above them were his long, white, well-shaped legs.

Because he was being held up, his knees were spread wide apart, and Xie Ning could see himself with full clarity. His hands seemed to have nowhere to go. Covering himself looked strange, but not covering himself looked even stranger.

Under Pei Zhi’s near-tangible hot gaze, Xie Ning lightly bit his lower lip and turned his head away.

A posture of avoidance, avoiding the mirror.

“So good,” Pei Zhi said in a low voice. “Even trembling.”

Xie Ning’s lashes trembled slightly at his words.

He had thought this would act as some kind of psychological buffer, but instead, for some reason, Xie Ning only felt more uneasy.

At that moment, he thought that if he backed out now, it was probably still possible.

But Pei Zhi gave him no chance to regret it.

Pei Zhi held him tightly, then pressed himself against him from behind. Their size difference was such that when Pei Zhi hugged him, Xie Ning fit into him as though made for it.

Perfectly. Without the slightest gap.

As if they had been made to fit together.

Pei Zhi’s strength was excellent, especially his arms. When he held Xie Ning up like this, he could lift him quite high.

At this angle, both of them could see the scene before them with perfect clarity.

Xie Ning’s pale skin had already been flushed by the hot water into a pinkish red, and part of that color came from where Pei Zhi had sucked and kissed him. Yet the reddest little patch, set against a dark shade nearly black, looked almost pitiful in comparison.

Still, that pretty red line was slowly being covered, pressed firmly beneath it.

In the quiet shower, their heartbeats sounded unnaturally loud. Xie Ning lifted his arm uneasily, only to draw from Pei Zhi an even heavier breath.

“So good to me?” Pei Zhi rubbed his nose against Xie Ning’s ear. “So good, so hot.”

“It’s all dripping over me now.”

Xie Ning froze for a moment.

Only then did he realize that his earlier movement of lifting his arm had shifted his whole body. From this angle, it looked as though he were actively cooperating with Pei Zhi.

His breathing was hot against his ear, and when Pei Zhi spoke, the moist exhale dampened the small patch of skin there. Pei Zhi slowly rubbed his ear, but the motion was hard and insistent. In the mirror, Xie Ning could clearly see Pei Zhi’s expression and movements, as well as his own frightened, helpless face.

Pei Zhi had indeed kept his promise, staying on the surface and giving Xie Ning plenty of room to adapt. But… Pei Zhi had always been forceful, and his actions even more so. The relentless rhythm gave Xie Ning a strange illusion.

An illusion that Pei Zhi might slip deeper at any moment.

And yet there was nothing Xie Ning could do. He was being held up in Pei Zhi’s arms, and his only point of support was Pei Zhi himself. His whole body leaned against him, knees spread wide, feet suspended in the air, utterly out of control.

And in this state, his lips were suddenly taken as well. Pei Zhi ate into his tongue, his rough tongue lashing wildly across the entrance of his mouth, making wet sucking sounds. Sweet liquid kept spilling out, soft sticky sounds filling the space, some splashing onto nearby skin and onto Pei Zhi’s face, the rest smearing across Pei Zhi’s lips.

His tender, watered-soft mouth was kneaded over and over. A simple push of Pei Zhi’s tongue at the seam of his lips was enough to pry it open. Pei Zhi kissed him deep and devoured him deeper. The intense heat instantly triggered Xie Ning’s skin hunger again. The clarity he had barely regained began to scatter once more.

Perhaps because the kiss had gone too deep, Xie Ning gave a faint little gag. Pei Zhi let him lean against him, lowered him down, and made him nearly collapse against the mirror, one hand on his lower belly.

“Why are you gagging now?” Pei Zhi asked, sounding wickedly innocent. “Do you have a baby?”

“But how could there be a baby? We haven’t even done it.”

Xie Ning’s eyes widened blankly for a second.

He had once again slipped into that hazy, slow state. In that state, he was especially easy to deceive. Whatever Pei Zhi said, he believed.

Sometimes Pei Zhi even suspected that in this state, no matter what he asked Xie Ning to do, Xie Ning would obediently do it.

Even something excessive.

Xie Ning slowly responded, “What baby…?”

This had only been casual teasing, but Xie Ning had taken it seriously. He really thought about it for a long moment, then asked back with childlike sincerity.

That instant, it was like a bucket of hot oil had been poured over Pei Zhi’s head. The fire that had already been blazing flared up even more violently.

“Would that be so bad?” Pei Zhi said wickedly against his ear. “Fill you all the way up and make you carry my baby. During the pregnancy I’d still fuck you. Then after the baby’s born, while you’re feeding it, I’d still fuck you.”

Pei Zhi’s voice was very low, full of a dark, dangerous heaviness. Combined with the fierce and shameless thing he was doing now, and the heat of his body wrapped around him, it almost really made Xie Ning feel as though—

as though Pei Zhi’s words had already come true.

Xie Ning was pinned against the mirror, tightly enclosed in Pei Zhi’s arms from behind. His hands were flat against the glass. Pei Zhi held him with crushing closeness, one hand locked around his waist, the other gripping his chin, forcing him to face the mirror.

In the mirror, their eyes met. That gaze was packed with hunger and destructive intent, as if Pei Zhi might tear him to pieces at any second.

Keeping their eyes locked through the mirror, Pei Zhi leaned down and licked his cheek, while continuing to grind him mercilessly. In a hoarse voice, he asked, “Will you have a baby for me?”

Xie Ning’s skin was already too sensitive to bear being rubbed this way. On top of that, Pei Zhi kept sucking at his lips and deliberately grinding against him. Under the added force of his skin hunger, Xie Ning’s tear ducts ached, and tears spilled out again.

“No…” Xie Ning turned his face away, his voice trembling at the edges. “No feeding… no…”

“No baby.”

Fuck.

Too cute.

Pei Zhi had never liked fluffy things. Other people found them cute and wanted to pet them, but he had always found them dull and meaningless. In fact, almost everything in the world had struck him that way.

Only when he met Xie Ning did something feel different.

Everything Xie Ning did was cute to him, even when Xie Ning wore that distant, untouchable expression. That only made him more attractive. All the more now, when he looked half-confused, even a little foolish.

He really liked him.

Xie Ning still looked resistant, refusing to look into the mirror. He even lowered his head to glance at his own stomach, as if to confirm something.

Pei Zhi turned his chin back toward him and soothed him like one would soothe a child. “No baby. Then what if I just fuck you?”

“Would that be okay?”

Xie Ning thought about it for a slow moment, then answered vaguely, “Okay.”

Pei Zhi fell silent for a moment, then suddenly crushed his mouth over Xie Ning’s, rubbing hard. It was only his lips, but he kissed as though he might at any second go farther in, grinding with such force it was almost frightening.

Xie Ning’s head rocked under the force of it, his shoulders jerking upward.

A tiny whimper escaped him.

Weak, tearful, pitiful.

Yet it brought no mercy. Instead, it only drew out a fiercer response.

Then Pei Zhi suddenly stiffened.

In the next second, he clutched Xie Ning tightly and buried his face in the crook of his neck, breathing hard.

And Xie Ning himself looked just as stunned.

The sound of dripping began again.

The pretty red line that had been so carefully hidden was now covered with a veil of milky haze. Instead of dulling the beauty of it, the white only made the rich red beneath look even more lustrous, taking on a glossy sheen.

But looking closely, there were also tiny signs of chafing. The very center looked as though it had been rubbed open, the little parting left slightly parted, a soft hot white breath drifting from it.

Pei Zhi held him with one arm threaded under his armpit, his hand resting across the area just below his collarbone.

In the gaps between those broad fingers, a pretty pink flush could be seen. What had once only been pale pink had become vivid and ripe, like an overripe berry. Pei Zhi could not stop himself from wanting to lower his head and bite it.

“Baby…” Pei Zhi said hoarsely, “what should I do? I think I…”

Xie Ning, still dazed, had already sensed what he meant even before he finished.

He turned his head blankly, but from this angle he could not see everything. He could only look down into the mirror and see Pei Zhi shamelessly greeting him again.

There was much more that Xie Ning could not see.

Pei Zhi, however, could see it all perfectly clearly.

That bright little red bit looked like a delicious strawberry, perched in the center of a ring of freshly whipped cream.

The creamy sweetness mixed with the original strawberry scent, making the whole thing look overwhelmingly delicious.

Xie Ning said nothing. He only stared blankly down at Pei Zhi.

Pei Zhi knew that just now it was not only him who had felt it. Xie Ning had too, and very likely even more than he had.

After all, Xie Ning’s skin hunger amplified every physical sensation. For someone like him, even a little teasing could trigger an intense reaction.

No wonder Xie Ning had been afraid of going any farther.

Xie Ning’s expression turned dazed again. He truly didn’t know how irresistibly attractive he looked like this.

Like fruit that had ripened fully—thin-skinned, full of flesh, probably ready to split open and spill juice with the slightest pressure. Every part of him, inside and out, was treasure.

“Your belly is so thin.” Pei Zhi buried his face in the hollow of Xie Ning’s neck and rubbed against him, his hand moving thoughtfully across Xie Ning’s lower belly. “It shows so clearly when you can’t catch your breath.”

“Would Uncle and Auntie notice that their good boy’s gone bad?”

Xie Ning’s lashes lifted slowly. His head was foggy, but he still didn’t completely understand. “What?”

Pei Zhi’s hand moved. Against Xie Ning’s confused gaze, he brought two fingers together.

Their tips glistened with a jelly-like translucence. Pei Zhi’s tone grew malicious. “A bad boy who’s hiding a man in his room.”
