Chapter 353: Extra (15)

“Captain Li, we meet again!”

Tang Yu’an stopped the spaceship in mid-air and descended together with Zhou Qi.

Li Zhecheng looked at them with a complicated expression.

“Are you heading that way? Take our ship,” Tang Yu’an offered. “Teacher Turs asked us to help look after his people.”

Yisuo was among this group.

Hearing Tang Yu’an’s words, his—and the surrounding Xisa survivors’—eyes grew slightly red.

They never expected that even in another world, Teacher Turs would still care about them like this… Their fear and confusion about the future eased considerably.

And most importantly, Little Round Biscuit had also come along!

Having accompanied Turs for many years, Little Round Biscuit had long become a powerful sigil master through sheer exposure. Coming with Tang Yu’an not only allowed him to look after Yisuo and the others, but also served a second purpose—to establish a teleportation array in Roland.

With that, Yisuo and the others would be able to return to Xisa at any time—providing them with a way back.

Seeing that all of the Xisa survivors were safely aboard, Li Zhecheng hesitated for a moment before leading his troops to follow.

He naturally remained wary of these two “wandering merchants,” but protecting the survivors was their duty—they had to stay close.

Fortunately, once aboard the ship, none of the traps he worried about appeared.

The spaceship rose gently, and the astonishing protective barrier remained active, shutting out the airborne beasts that had dominated the skies.

Through conversation, Tang Yu’an finally understood something: Roland really had left its home planet and made contact with alien civilizations.

But due to natural disasters, their interstellar exchanges had become far less frequent than a century ago, and their technological level hadn’t fully integrated with interstellar society.

Still, spaceships and cars were not unfamiliar to them.

Though Roland lacked the industrial chain to make them, they had imported quite a few such products from the Interstellar Alliance.

Not just cars—they even had televisions!

Yisuo and the younger generation of the underground city had grown up without ever seeing the surface. Hearing soldiers their age describe such things, they couldn’t help but yearn for them.

Tang Yu’an and Zhou Qi were also increasingly curious about this country where magic and technology coexisted.

As the ship flew onward, Tang Yu’an kept an eye on the map.

On the mini-map, countless red dots crowded together like a field of blood.

The density of dangerous creatures in this world far exceeded that of the wasteland world—the difference was immeasurable!

If their general store had landed in this world initially, Tang Yu’an felt they probably wouldn’t have survived a single day.

How did the people here live in such danger?

Soon, they saw a long defensive border. Like the fortress walls in the wasteland world, towering walls blocked the interstellar beasts outside.

Soldiers were gathering on the ramparts—well-trained and fully equipped.

Since Tang Yu’an had turned on stealth mode, the border guards did not notice the ship above them; all their attention was fixed on the beasts outside the wall.

The interstellar beast herd—roughly a thousand—was relentlessly charging the barrier.

Tang Yu’an and Zhou Qi stopped the ship for now.

Though they had a protective barrier, its teleportation effect was spherical; if they got too close, beasts might be teleported inside the border instead of out—helping would turn into harm.

“Little Tang, open the hatch—we want to go down and fight!” Li Zhecheng said.

“Look over there!”

His adjutant suddenly shouted.

Tang Yu’an and Zhou Qi looked over curiously. From afar, they saw a blond man in a snow-white uniform flying out from behind the border wall.

Thanks to his divine body, Tang Yu’an’s eyesight was exceptionally sharp—he could see details clearly at great distances.

The blond man was extraordinarily handsome, his gray-blue eyes calmly fixed on the beast herd.

The beasts seemed to sense something. Though they had been charging the wall, they suddenly turned and rushed toward the blond man.

Overwhelming energy blasts struck him, yet he didn’t budge.

Before everyone’s eyes, he raised his long sword. Blue lightning surged across the blade, and then—

He swung.

BOOM!

The blinding flash forced Tang Yu’an to close his eyes. When the light faded, he saw a ravine nearly a thousand meters long carved into the earth.

Most of the thousand beasts had fallen into the fissure; those still above ground lay charred and unmoving.

Tang Yu’an and Zhou Qi exchanged a look, swallowing involuntarily.

This person was terrifyingly strong!

They continued watching. The blond man waved his hand, and the mountain-like pile of beast corpses rose into the air and drifted behind the border wall.

But he did not stop. Instead, he turned his sharp gaze directly toward their spaceship!

“That’s Lord Sisheng! He must have detected us!”

Li Zhecheng spoke excitedly, “I need to go greet him.”

He asked Tang Yu’an to open the hatch, then instantly transformed into a greatsword and shot out.

Tang Yu’an watched the “Li Zhecheng-brand greatsword” wobble left and right in front of Sisheng, seemingly saying something.

Fortunately, the powerful man gradually withdrew his killing intent and sheathed his sword.

“Who is he?” Tang Yu’an asked Li Zhecheng’s adjutant, with Yisuo and the others also listening in.

“That is Lord Sisheng, the Marshal of our Roland Empire, and also our guardian deity!” the adjutant said with deep admiration.

“Let’s go. We’ll head over!”

Tang Yu’an and Zhou Qi exchanged another look. After a moment of hesitation, they finally deactivated the spaceship’s cloaking.

The appearance of the luxurious spacecraft immediately put the border troops on alert. Fortunately, with Li Zhecheng vouching for them, no conflict occurred.

Once the ship landed inside the border line, they were brought to meet the commanding officer of this border garrison.

Unfortunately, they did not see the Marshal, Sisheng.

When Tang Yu’an asked about it, Li Zhecheng replied cheerfully, “Lord Sisheng has returned to the Imperial Capital. His Highness Sino’s coming-of-age ceremony is about to begin, so he must hurry back to congratulate him!”

“His Highness Sino?”

“Yes, our Third Prince,” Li Zhecheng said proudly.

“You’ve arrived at the perfect time. For His Highness’s coming-of-age ceremony, we’ve prepared a three-day celebration. I’ve even heard the Interstellar Alliance is sending delegates to attend. It will definitely be lively!”

Then he looked at Tang Yu’an and Zhou Qi, then at Iso and the other survivors from Xisa. His expression turned solemn.

“His Highness Sino is the most respected person in the Roland Empire. You may even criticize His Majesty, but His Highness Sino must never be disrespected.”

“To disrespect His Highness is to declare war against all Roland citizens. Understand?”
