Chapter 32: What the Hell Is a Girlfriend!
Shen Chi felt as if he had been struck by lightning. He quickly withdrew his hand. Fortunately, at this moment, Lu Chenzhou did not trap him again.
Like a lion that had finally been satisfied, he released him along the motion.
Shen Chi jumped out of the car. His hair was messy, his clothes were wrinkled, and his whole person looked like a pitiful little puppy that had been thoroughly bullied.
How exciting.
Lu Chenzhou sighed inwardly. Originally, he had only wanted a small taste. He had not meant to bully him too much, but Shen Chi was far too delicious. Suddenly, he felt that just one lick was not enough.
He restrained the possessiveness in his eyes. In order not to frighten his little secretary, he suppressed his emotions.
“Sorry, Secretary Shen. My pheromones went out of control just now, and I did something very inappropriate.” As he spoke, he rubbed his forehead.
The veins at Lu Chenzhou’s temples throbbed. His condition looked rather serious.

Shen Chi shook his head blankly.

Lu Chenzhou did not answer. Instead, he extended a hand. “Secretary Shen, can you support me for a moment?”
Shen Chi still remembered what had just happened. He hesitated and did not dare step forward.
Lu Chenzhou said, “Secretary Shen, are you afraid of me?”
Shen Chi raised his eyes and met that deep gaze. The person who was always cold and icy now had a few traces of weakness. Even his usually meticulous hair had fallen loose by a few strands, losing its usual sharpness.
When a person was vulnerable, it was inevitable that others would feel pity.
However, if his private doctor, Ji Yanzhi, were here, his eyes would definitely widen.
This guy had never had a weak period when his pheromones were disordered!
But Shen Chi fell for it!

The little secretary walked step by step into the trap. A sick satisfaction flickered in Lu Chenzhou’s eyes.
“Not many people know about this. In case I have another episode next time, I’ll have Ji Yanzhi prepare a few strong inhibitors to keep by your side.” After saying that, he even put on an extremely negotiable appearance. “Secretary Shen, would that be alright?”
Shen Chi had no chance to refuse at all and could only brace himself and agree. “That’s fine.”
Lu Chenzhou smiled. “Since Secretary Shen is taking on extra work, I’ll have the accounting department recalculate your salary.”
These words successfully lowered Shen Chi’s guard.
“I don’t think simply recalculating your salary is enough compensation.” Lu Chenzhou said, “For the company team-building trip in the second half of the year, Secretary Shen may bring one extra family member. I remember Secretary Shen has a girlfriend.”
The Lu Group’s team-building was not some one-day trip to a small park, nor was it a meal at some restaurant where the boss talked nonsense and painted empty promises.
It was a several-day island trip. Management even stayed in five-star hotels, with all expenses reimbursed by the company. It was basically a public-funded vacation.
But where was Shen Chi supposed to find a girlfriend? He had made the whole thing up. He could only vaguely refuse.

Lu Chenzhou narrowed his eyes slightly.
His original intention had been to see this girlfriend, but she was hidden so deeply.
“I remember Secretary Shen telling me that you two met online?”
Shen Chi hummed in agreement.

Shen Chi pressed his lips together. He was almost unable to keep this lie going. Why was this guy so concerned about his girlfriend?

Red, swollen skin, like crimson plum blossoms falling into white snow. It looked pitiful and extremely tempting.
Lu Chenzhou’s teeth itched slightly. He took out a cigarette. If he did not smoke now, he would want to smoke his little secretary instead.
The taste of nicotine filled his mouth. Lu Chenzhou did not rush to light it. Instead, he bit the cigarette and said slowly, “Secretary Shen, this wouldn’t be your first time dating, would it?”

No wonder that girlfriend had bitten him so deeply last time.

The cigarette was bitten through hard. Lu Chenzhou got a mouthful of it. He did not spit it out. Instead, he swallowed it in anger.
