Chapter 25: Secretary Shen Worries for the Leads
Shen Chi did not only like eating strawberries. There was no fruit he disliked.

Even through the phone, Shen Chi could sense the soft, delicate Omega’s frightened appearance when talking about Lu Chenzhou.

Secretary Xu suddenly thought of her own boss. Then she looked at the expensive suit Shen Chi was wearing and did not know what to say.

He glanced at the short number. It was the internal line from the president’s office.
Shen Chi picked up the phone. “Hello, President Lu.”
Lu Chenzhou said, “Attend the meeting with me in twenty minutes.” After saying that, without waiting for Shen Chi’s response, he hung up.
Shen Chi had been here for over a month, and Lu Chenzhou’s meetings were basically attended by Secretary Xu, special assistants, or executive assistants. This was the first time he had received a call about attending a meeting.
He did not think too much about it and assumed that his performance over the past month had earned Lu Chenzhou’s approval. He did not know that previously, Lu Chenzhou had deliberately avoided him.
