Chapter 11: How Crazy to Mark a Beta!
The three-day probation period—today was the final day.
Before work, Shen Chi went to the kitchen. He picked up a kitchen knife, found a rope, and finally hung the knife above the front door.

Shen Chi did not know whether to laugh or cry. “Miss Ruan, I don’t even know them.”
Ruan Shangxue hummed a few times, then arrogantly stuffed the fruit salad in her hand over to him. “Here. See if your President Lu wants to eat it. If he doesn’t, then you eat it. I saw you eat a lot of fruit at the banquet yesterday.”

Secretary Xu noticed the movement behind her and was so frightened that cold sweat almost broke out on her back.
Her first reaction was that she could not let President Lu notice those bite marks. Otherwise… even she did not know what would happen.
But Secretary Xu was only a female Beta, and she was not as tall as Shen Chi. Standing behind Shen Chi only gave off a feeling of trying to cover something up, which made things even more noticeable.
