Three Days Turn into Four!

Chapter 75: Three Days Turn into Four!

Jiang Rong’s heat came on fiercely.

There were naturally no suppressants around him—only He Siming.

He Siming had always thought Jiang Rong’s heat would come on gradually. When Jiang Rong described his first heat to Old Liu, He Siming had been there too. He remembered that in the week before Jiang Rong’s heat last time, he could already smell the peach scent on him. Back then, Yao Shule could smell his pheromones as well—thankfully, later on only he himself could smell them. Otherwise, he might have gone crazy.

He held Jiang Rong, knowing exactly how uncomfortable he would be when the heat hit.

“Hold on a bit first? We’ll head home right away.”

Jiang Rong shook his head. “We can’t go home. There’s the baby at home.”

He Siming said, “Alright, then we’ll go to a hotel.”

Jiang Rong unconsciously rubbed against his chest, his hands alternately clinging to He Siming’s back and wrapping around his waist, desperately wanting to smell He Siming’s pheromones.

He Siming felt that he was usually open enough around Jiang Rong, but now that they were outside, even he felt Jiang Rong was being a little too open.

Luckily it was late at night, the lighting where they stood was dim, and there were hardly any students passing by.

Jiang Rong let out a low murmur. “He Siming?”

He Siming felt like his whole body was on fire from the rubbing. It wasn’t just Jiang Rong being burned by his heat—He Siming himself felt as though he were being scorched by molten lava.

How long had it been since he and Jiang Rong last slept together? This was simply pouring fuel on the fire. Jiang Rong’s enthusiasm was nearly enough to burn him.

He Siming didn’t hesitate. “Get in the car first.”

Jiang Rong felt like even his breathing was hot. For now, he could still control himself, but He Siming was his Alpha—an Omega would naturally weaken in front of their Alpha.

Even though his body was craving He Siming, his rationality was still there.

“What about the next few days? Auntie might not be able to handle taking care of everything by herself.”

One night could be managed—Auntie Yang could hold on a bit longer and they could help during the day. But three days straight? Auntie Yang alone wouldn’t be able to manage the baby.

His concern was reasonable. He Siming hadn’t yet come up with a proper solution when the phone rang—the call was from the cooking aunt who lived with Auntie Yang.

She called Jiang Rong directly, and He Siming answered for him.

“He Siming?” the aunt said.

“Auntie Song?” He Siming replied.

Auntie Song said anxiously, “Young Master He, when will you be back? Auntie Yang might have gastroenteritis—she’s vomiting and has diarrhea. I’m planning to take her to the hospital, but there’s no one to watch the baby. We can hold on for a bit while waiting for you to come back.”

Just a moment ago he’d felt like fortune was smiling on him—now everything was hitting at once.

“Is it serious?” He Siming asked.

“It looks pretty serious. She can still walk, but her face is very pale. She looks really uncomfortable.”

“Alright, we’ll be back right away. Please wait for us.”

Jiang Rong asked softly, “What happened?”

He Siming explained about Auntie Yang falling ill. His mind felt tangled—on one side was a baby who couldn’t be left unattended, on the other was Jiang Rong who had suddenly gone into heat. Neither could be left alone.

He Siming said, “I’ll call my parents and ask them to come back to take care of their grandson. The company can run fine without them for a day or two. But if we go straight home, we won’t be able to go to the hotel. We’ll have to stay at home tonight.”

Jiang Rong made an immediate decision. “Do you trust Yao Shule? He helped me watch the baby for a while today. He can change diapers and feed him. Linlin sleeps deeply at night—let him keep an eye on him tonight. I’ll be a bit better by tomorrow morning and come back then.”

During his heat, he really didn’t want to stay at home. With the baby there, it would be too awkward. They also hadn’t prepared another spare room.

If they avoided He Shenglin tonight, they’d have to do everything in the living room—but staying there all night wasn’t ideal either. And if the baby woke up in the middle of things, he would die of embarrassment.

Seeing the redness creeping up to Jiang Rong’s eyes, He Siming felt a pang of pity. “Alright. We’ll do as you say.”

For college students, staying up until midnight wasn’t difficult.

At midnight, several dorm buildings suddenly erupted in noise. Yao Shule and Li Yizhou were definitely still awake and ran out to see what was going on.

One look, and they were stunned.

“Who’s setting off fireworks?”

“No—who uses fireworks that change shapes in the sky? That’s a drone show!”

A ten-minute drone performance would cost at least two million. Their college even had students specializing in drones—they knew exactly how much this cost.

“Holy shit, which big shot is putting on a drone show at school?”

“Is this a proposal?”

“That’s insane!”

“Is that over by Lover’s Lake?”

“This is way too romantic—must be some rich second-generation kid splurging.”

“There are words!”

Everyone saw text forming in the night sky.

“So it’s a birthday message!”

“No, it’s more than that—it’s a proposal!”

“Our school has never had such a grand proposal in all these years!”

“Who is it?”

“Ask the girls’ dorms—they’ll know!”

The drone show soon ended.

The night sky returned to its quiet calm, but what it left behind among Qin University students was curiosity and envy.

Yao Shule was especially envious of the person being proposed to. So jealous. Straight people really had it good—if they wanted to propose, they could. As a gay man, he probably wouldn’t have that chance.

He waved Li Yizhou back toward the dorm. “Sleep, sleep. I’m exhausted.”

Li Yizhou was unusually curious. “Who do you think it was? After such a huge spectacle, sending flowers under the girls’ dorms later would be nothing in comparison.”

Yao Shule said, “Exactly. Someone who has the money and time to do this for a birthday is rare. First requirement—you’ve got to be rich.”

Li Yizhou said, “There can’t be many students at our school who can afford that.”

Yao Shule’s eyelid suddenly twitched. For some reason, He Siming’s and Jiang Rong’s faces flashed through his mind.

Li Yizhou continued guessing. “It can’t be Ding Yan, right? No, not him—he posted a video asking who it was.”

Yao Shule snapped, “Who cares who it is. Sleep!”

Just as he was about to climb into bed, his phone rang. He rarely ever got calls from He Siming—he was so startled he even thought it might be a high-end scam call.

Why would He Siming call him in the middle of the night?

He answered, and it really was He Siming’s voice.

He Siming sounded somewhat anxious. “Yao Shule, Jiang Rong isn’t feeling well. We need to go out for a bit. The aunt at home also went to the hospital because of gastroenteritis. Can you help me take care of He Shenglin tonight?”

Jiang Rong was right beside him, his voice very soft. “Lele, could I trouble you?”

All of Yao Shule’s sleepiness vanished. Jiang Rong sounded genuinely weak. “Yes, yes, I can—but I’m not very skilled.”

He Siming said, “I’ll be back in the morning. My parents will arrive in the morning too. You just need to help us watch him for four hours. I’ll be back at four.”

Judging by Jiang Rong’s condition, four hours would be enough to ease things a bit. Then he could come back to watch He Shenglin.

Yao Shule was a little panicked. “Four hours should be okay, but I don’t know how to tell if he’s crying because he’s hungry or wet.”

He Siming said, “He Shenglin will wake up around two. Just make formula and feed him. If you can change him, great. If not, I’ll change him when I come back at four. Don’t worry about that.”

Yao Shule said, “Alright, then I’ll come over now.”

He Siming said, “We’re downstairs. Just come down.”

Yao Shule changed clothes and shoes and headed out.

Li Yizhou asked, “What’s going on? Need help?”

Yao Shule said, “You can’t help. I’m heading out—enjoy guarding your empty bed tonight.”

Li Yizhou: “…” He was completely confused as he watched Yao Shule dash out like it was an emergency. “What on earth is happening?”

Yao Shule was thinking the same thing.

That was, until he saw Jiang Rong in the car—he looked like he was in real discomfort.

He had never seen Jiang Rong like this.

“Rongrong, are you okay?”

“I’m fine. I’ll be better in a couple of days. Don’t worry.”

Afraid of exposing his heat, Jiang Rong said no more.

He Siming asked Yao Shule, “Do you smell anything?”

Yao Shule replied, “No. Why? Your car doesn’t smell like anything either.”

He Siming said, “Alright.” That answer put him at ease.

In a good mood, he drove straight downstairs.

Yao Shule asked, “Why did you two come back to school in the middle of the night?” Then it hit him—the ten-minute drone show. His face nearly cracked. “Wait—don’t tell me. Rongrong, is today your birthday?”

Jiang Rong nodded. “When I get back, will you all celebrate a belated birthday with me?”

Yao Shule thought, As expected—only He Siming could pull something like this off. No wonder he has a wife.

“Sure,” Yao Shule said. “Happy birthday. That drone show shocked everyone—people all ran out to watch.”

Jiang Rong smiled. “He Siming prepared it carefully for me.”

Yao Shule: “…” Seriously. Dragged out of bed to babysit in the middle of the night and still being force-fed dog food—being a friend like this was really something else.

He Siming gave Yao Shule the door code directly. Neither he nor Jiang Rong went upstairs.

Suddenly entrusted with such an important mission, Yao Shule: “…”

Why did it feel like the dads were going out to have fun and dumping the kid on him? Had he instantly turned into the modern-day Dewey?

With one worry resolved, the two of them quickly headed to the same hotel as last time.

As soon as the door closed, Jiang Rong completely lost his composure and grabbed He Siming’s face to kiss him.

He Siming: “…” So this was the charm of heat. “Jiang Rongrong, are you still rational?”

Jiang Rong blinked. “What?”

“Do you know who I am?” He Siming compared his enthusiasm now to the first heat. He was afraid that Jiang Rong had chosen him the first time simply because he happened to be there. People tended to dwell on such things—overthinking, essentially.

“I know. You’re my husband, He Siming.”

“During your first heat, did you know who I was?”

“I did. You were the campus heartthrob—my roommate.”

“Why did you choose me back then?” He Siming asked softly, brushing his fingers over the sensitive gland at the back of Jiang Rong’s neck.

Jiang Rong answered almost instinctively. “Because you were the only one I knew.”

“Did you like me at least a little back then?”

“Yes. I already had a good impression of you.” Jiang Rong was sure of that.

He Siming had nothing more to ask. He was satisfied.

The peach fragrance grew richer. With one breath of it, He Siming felt refreshed as he carried Jiang Rong to the bed.

Before entering the hotel, Jiang Rong had still been suppressing his pheromones. Now he couldn’t control them at all. The moment He Siming kissed him, his entire body relaxed; smelling He Siming’s pheromones made his legs go weak.

He Siming lowered his head to kiss his neck, gently rubbing over the gland. Jiang Rong’s body was unbearably sensitive—his legs curled up involuntarily.

He couldn’t help calling out He Siming’s name.

He Siming had been suppressing himself for days—how could he withstand this? The peach was now as delicate as a ripe fruit covered in morning dew, juicy at the slightest touch, sweet and fragrant.

During Jiang Rong’s first heat, He Siming had refused him again and again. This time, though, he regretted ever making Jiang Rong soak in the bathtub—it had been such a waste of time.

He kissed Jiang Rong’s increasingly fair and sweet “peach,” now filled only with a rich, fresh peach scent, no longer carrying the milky fragrance of pregnancy.

Each stage had its own scent.

Even as He Siming buried himself deeply and tasted the sweetness, Jiang Rong retained a sliver of rationality. “U-use protection…”

“I am,” He Siming said. He wouldn’t dare not to.

Jiang Rong wrapped his arms around He Siming’s neck, pressing close and relaxing himself to accept him. He seemed to like He Siming’s pheromones even more now—his own pheromones screamed wildly.

Heat really could make someone sink endlessly.

At the very end, He Siming murmured repeatedly by Jiang Rong’s ear, “Happy birthday, my wife. I love you. Do you love me?”

“Mmh… I love you…”

“How much?”

“So, so much.”

“How much is ‘so much’?”

“So, so very much.”

After four hours bathed in He Siming’s pheromones, the first wave of Jiang Rong’s heat finally subsided.

He Siming let Jiang Rong rest at the hotel and went home briefly.

After receiving He Siming’s call the night before, Xu Mingqin had immediately changed her private jet’s route and flown back to the capital. In the morning, she took He Shenglin with her and even contacted a friend to find a new nanny.

After not sleeping all night, He Siming returned to the hotel and slept with Jiang Rong, recharging his energy for Jiang Rong’s second wave.

Last time, there had been a gap of nearly half a day between waves. This time, though, just after He Siming fell asleep, Jiang Rong was already up. He washed up and then rubbed against him, even proactively undoing his clothes. By the time He Siming woke from his drowsiness, his clothes were already half off.

So the first heat really had had a longer interval.

Jiang Rong’s face was flushed as he kissed He Siming’s chin—overnight, a bit of stubble had grown.

Noticing He Siming was awake, Jiang Rong said shyly, “How about you sleep? I can do it myself.”

He Siming: “…” Was there really such a good thing?

Before he could react, Jiang Rong had already climbed on top of him.

As wonderful as it sounded, with a naked beauty in his arms, who could truly remain calm? He wasn’t Liu Xiahui, and he certainly wasn’t going to be a modern-day Liu Xiahui.

He adored Jiang Rong in heat—so passionate, completely unreserved. Even though they had been intimate countless times, each time still felt fresh. This peach just kept getting sweeter and more fragrant, making him crave it more each day.

He Siming gave up on sleep. Compared to sleep, he craved the person who smelled of peaches far more.

Soon, the room once again filled with mingled breaths and soft moans, peach fragrance overtaken by lime-green notes.

And so, Jiang Rong’s heat entered its third day.

On the third night, after three days of bare intimacy, the two finally managed to put on proper clothes to cover the marks all over their bodies. They packed up and prepared to go home.

But just as Jiang Rong reached the door, another wave of heat surged through him.

He grabbed He Siming’s hand. “Wait—He Siming…”

Turning around, He Siming saw the redness creeping behind Jiang Rong’s ears. “What is it?”

Embarrassed, Jiang Rong said, “It… it seems it’s not over yet.”

He Siming froze. “You’re saying your heat lasts more than three days?”

Jiang Rong was just as shocked. “It seems so.”

After a second of silence, He Siming said, “Then we’ll stay one more night.”

He planned not to take off their clothes—another kind of fun.

Even so, their clothes were soon soaked with sweat. Their passion continued, tireless, into the fourth day.

It wasn’t until the afternoon of the fourth day—after more than six hours without another surge—that Jiang Rong’s body finally settled.

This time, they could go home.

After being away from campus for four days, nothing earth-shattering had happened—but the news of He Siming putting on a private drone show for his partner had caused an uproar.

Most students thought it was extremely romantic, though some argued he had wasted public resources. Opinions were divided.

Videos of the confession were also uploaded to major platforms, trending for an entire day.

Tang Yucheng seized the opportunity, turning the trend into free advertising for his company and pulling in plenty of new business.

Yes—the drones were part of his company’s new venture, and He Siming’s public confession to Jiang Rong had unexpectedly brought in significant traffic.

Jiang Rong only learned about all this on the second day after returning home.

On Monday, when he went back to school, Qin University was suddenly filled with visitors coming to check in at Lover’s Lake.

There was no water left in the car, so Jiang Rong got out to buy some while He Siming went to park.

As Jiang Rong exited the supermarket, he ran into a cameraman with a shoulder-mounted camera and a reporter.

The reporter stopped him. “Hello, student.”

Jiang Rong hadn’t expected to be intercepted—there were other students ahead of him too. “Hello.”

“Student, what do you think about a student at your school spending a huge sum on a drone show at Lover’s Lake to confess to their partner? Do you think this is a waste of resources and money?”

As the person who had been confessed to, Jiang Rong thought, Has this really blown up that much?

He quickly reacted, smiling at the camera. “I liked it a lot.”
