I’m Being Pestered By My Best Friend’s Little Brother! – CH34

Chapter 34

Jiang Mi followed the voice and looked over. Beneath the dim streetlight, a young man dressed in black sportswear was striding quickly toward him.

A dozen seconds later, Liang Jinyi rushed up to Jiang Mi, wrapped an arm around his waist, and pulled him to his side. Then he stared at the woman standing opposite Jiang Mi and demanded coldly, “Brother, who is she?”

Jiang Mi hadn’t expected to run into Liang Jinyi. He could only smile and explain, “This is…” He gave the name of the other party’s company, then added, “President Li.”

He then introduced Liang Jinyi to Li Qingyu as his little brother.

Li Qingyu looked at the handsome young man beside Jiang Mi and withdrew the hand that had been left hanging in the air. Smiling, she said, “So when Lawyer Jiang said there was someone at home, you meant your little brother.”

She sighed regretfully. “Then I really shouldn’t go up and sit for a while tonight.”

Jiang Mi’s expression remained unchanged. He had long since learned the perfect way to handle situations like this. “It’s getting late. President Li should head back and get some rest.”

“Then let’s meet again in a couple of days.” A faint smile appeared on Li Qingyu’s lovely face. “I still have quite a few questions waiting for Lawyer Jiang to answer.”

“It would be my honor to clear up President Li’s doubts,” Jiang Mi replied with a smile.

After saying goodbye, Li Qingyu opened the rear door, got into the car, and told the driver to leave.

Only after Li Qingyu’s BMW drove away did Jiang Mi withdraw his gaze and let out a long breath. Then he noticed that Liang Jinyi’s large hand was still tightly locked around his waist.

Jiang Mi carried only the faint scent of dry red wine tonight, mixed with the light natural fragrance of his body. He called, “Jinyi,” reminding him to let go.

Jiang Mi and Liang Jinyi happened to be standing directly beneath a streetlight. Liang Jinyi lowered his eyes and stared at Jiang Mi for several moments. Then he suddenly moved his hand to Jiang Mi’s left wrist, gripped it tightly, and dragged him toward the residential complex with a dark expression.

Jiang Mi froze for a moment, then stumbled after him.

“Jinyi, let go.” On the way, Jiang Mi reminded Liang Jinyi to release him. He could walk by himself. But Liang Jinyi ignored him completely, tightly gripping Jiang Mi’s wrist all the way up to the twenty-eighth floor before entering the password with a cold expression.

The moment the door opened, Liang Jinyi turned on the lights and tossed the sports backpack hanging from his left shoulder onto the floor. He had gone boxing at the gym tonight, which was why he had the sports bag with him.

Immediately afterward, Liang Jinyi pulled Jiang Mi by the hand and swiftly pushed him into the entryway. At the same time as he shut the door behind them, Liang Jinyi pressed himself against Jiang Mi and demanded in a sharp voice, “Jiang Mi, who was that woman?”

“Didn’t I just introduce her to you? She’s the marketing director of NM Company.” Jiang Mi was pressed against the snow-white wall and couldn’t quite understand where Liang Jinyi’s anger was coming from.

“Then why was she hooking your tie? And touching your chest?” At the mention of this, Liang Jinyi found the gray patterned tie on Jiang Mi’s chest unbearably irritating to look at. He reached out, yanked it off, and threw it onto the floor. Still feeling that wasn’t enough, he started pulling at Jiang Mi’s suit.

Only then did Jiang Mi realize where Liang Jinyi’s displeasure was coming from. He thought to himself that Little Brother was still a child after all. He obediently took off his suit jacket, and only after he did so did Liang Jinyi finally calm down a little.

Jiang Mi let out a breath of relief and squeezed out through the gap in front of him.

As Jiang Mi walked toward the living room, he said helplessly, “Jinyi, do you know that money isn’t that easy to earn? Sometimes, sacrificing a little of your looks is perfectly normal.”

Liang Jinyi followed Jiang Mi into the living room. At those words, his expression instantly became even more complicated than before. Gritting his teeth, he asked, “It’s normal to sacrifice your looks? Brother, what did you do?”

“Didn’t you see it yourself? I just let her touch me a couple of times.” With that, Jiang Mi sank languidly onto the black leather sofa in the living room. As far as he was concerned, he was a man. If letting someone touch him a few times could help secure a deal, he wasn’t losing out.

Standing beside him, Liang Jinyi asked darkly, “So, Brother, when you negotiated deals in the past, did you always let people touch you too?”

“What are you thinking? It’s not like I’m some devastating beauty who has people falling all over themselves for me. It was just President Li this time.” Of course, President Li wasn’t actually the first. Back in U Country, there had also been two female clients who were interested in him. They hadn’t wanted a relationship either—they had simply wanted a one-night fling.

Naturally, Jiang Mi had never agreed. An occasional accidental touch or two was one thing, but anything beyond that was out of the question. He made a living with his brains, not by selling his body.

Still, there was no need to tell the kid about those two clients. After all, the kid was already burning with jealousy over what he had seen tonight. Jiang Mi certainly wasn’t about to add fuel to the fire.

But Liang Jinyi wasn’t so easily brushed off. Narrowing his eyes, he asked, “Then why were you so good at handling it tonight?”

Jiang Mi replied, “I haven’t personally encountered this kind of thing in business before, but I’ve seen plenty of it.”

Liang Jinyi stared fixedly at Jiang Mi for a while before asking, “Are you still going to meet with President Li?”

It would be difficult for Liang Jinyi to verify what had happened in U Country, but President Li was another matter entirely. Her company was so close by, and Liang Jinyi even knew some of the people who worked at Jiang Mi’s firm. It would be incredibly easy to check.

Jiang Mi coughed lightly and said with studied nonchalance, “President Li is actually quite interested in Zhuosi. Besides, as long as I don’t respond to anything outside of work, everyone has their pride. This matter will blow over.”

Liang Jinyi took a deep breath and said through gritted teeth, “No. Brother, you’re not allowed to see President Li again.”

Jiang Mi immediately felt a headache coming on. He considered his words, preparing to reason with Liang Jinyi properly. He was a grown man; being touched vaguely a couple of times wasn’t going to cost him a piece of flesh. There was no reason to throw away hundreds of thousands in consulting fees over something so trivial.

Just as he was thinking this, a sudden weight settled on his thighs.

Liang Jinyi had sat down on his lap.

Dressed entirely in black sportswear, his cool, pale face had a jade-like beauty to it. Yet his exquisitely defined features were sharp, giving him an intimidating air that warned others not to mess with him.

“Brother, I don’t want clients touching you.” Liang Jinyi wrapped both arms around Jiang Mi’s neck, and there was an unexpected note of hurt in his voice. “And I don’t want you to have to put up with things like that just to earn a little hard-earned money.”

Jiang Mi responded to softness, not force. Hearing this, he sighed and was about to say that he didn’t feel wronged at all.

But Liang Jinyi looked into his eyes and continued, “Besides, Brother, it’s not like we’re short of money, right?”

Then he added, “If you want money, I can give you all of mine.”

Liang Jinyi buried his head against Jiang Mi’s neck and said in an aggrieved voice, “Brother, can you please stop having dinner with President Li?”

Jiang Mi: “…”

For a moment, Jiang Mi genuinely didn’t know how to handle him.

But several hundred thousand wasn’t a small amount either. Jiang Mi still wanted to put up a fight, but the moment he opened his mouth, Liang Jinyi pleaded pitifully, “Brother, I’m begging you.”

Jiang Mi: “…”

Jiang Mi surrendered.

He felt that from the moment he met Liang Jinyi at sixteen, he had been destined to owe him. Taking a deep breath, he said, “Fine, fine. I won’t meet with President Li. If she asks to meet again, I’ll pass her on to someone else at the firm. Happy now?”

“Brother.” Liang Jinyi’s eyes instantly lit up, and he buried his fluffy head against Jiang Mi’s neck, rubbing against him vigorously.

“All right, all right.” The rubbing tickled, and a few soft chuckles escaped Jiang Mi’s throat. He tilted his head, signaling for Liang Jinyi to get off him. “Get up already. You’re crushing me.”

At that, Liang Jinyi immediately got off Jiang Mi’s lap.

But before Jiang Mi could stand and smooth out the suit pants Liang Jinyi had wrinkled, Liang Jinyi suddenly tugged him back.

Jiang Mi exclaimed, “Jinyi, what are you doing?”

Liang Jinyi gripped Jiang Mi’s waist with both hands and pulled him down onto his own lap. Then, with a meaningful look, he said, “I don’t think Brother is heavy. You can sit on my lap from now on.”

A quiet laugh escaped Jiang Mi. Bracing a hand against Liang Jinyi’s solid chest, he stood up. “Thanks, but I think the sofa is more comfortable.”

As he spoke, Jiang Mi unfastened the belt around his waist and headed toward the bedroom. “I need to take a shower. I still have a document to finish afterward.” Jiang Mi let out a tired yawn, then turned back to remind Liang Jinyi, “You should wash up and go to bed early too. You still have school tomorrow.”

Liang Jinyi obediently said okay.

Li Qingyu had said they would meet again in a couple of days, and sure enough, two days later, she called Jiang Mi and invited him to dinner that evening to continue discussing their potential cooperation.

Not a trace of what Jiang Mi was thinking showed in his voice. He cheerfully agreed, but as soon as he hung up, he went straight to Gu Yuan’s office and told him about Li Qingyu’s dinner invitation. He asked Gu Yuan to bring He Rou along instead. Since He Rou was a woman and they were negotiating with a female client, bringing a female employee would be more appropriate.

As for Jiang Mi, they could simply say that his stomach condition had suddenly flared up and he was unable to attend.

Gu Yuan looked up from his computer screen and frowned. “When Li Qingyu drove you home that night, she didn’t do anything out of line, did she?”

The first time they met Li Qingyu, Gu Yuan had already noticed how struck she was by Jiang Mi’s appearance. During their later discussions, she had also kept steering the conversation back toward him.

“What could she possibly have done? She’s a woman,” Jiang Mi said. “But after thinking about it, I’ve decided I won’t go tonight. If she genuinely wants to work with our firm, it’ll be the same whether you and He Rou negotiate with her.”

Jiang Mi didn’t tell Gu Yuan the real reason he wasn’t going. After all, the reason itself wasn’t important.

“That works too,” Gu Yuan said.

After letting Gu Yuan know, Jiang Mi was about to return to his own office. Before he could move, however, the phone in his suit pocket chimed, as though a text message had just come in.

Jiang Mi pulled out his phone and glanced at it casually—then froze.

“Lawyer Jiang, what’s wrong?” Gu Yuan picked up his mug, intending to head to the break room and make himself a cup of coffee to wake up a little. Then he suddenly noticed Jiang Mi standing there in a daze, staring blankly at his phone, and couldn’t help asking.

Jiang Mi narrowed his eyes at the bank notification informing him of an incoming transfer, then at the name of the person who had sent the money.

He ground his teeth. He was just about to call Liang Jinyi when he remembered that the boy was probably in class right now. Suppressing the urge, Jiang Mi acted as though nothing had happened and said to Gu Yuan, “It’s nothing. I’m going back to work, Lawyer Gu.”

By the time Jiang Mi got home that evening, it was already six thirty.

Liang Jinyi had arrived half an hour earlier. Wearing a dark gray apron patterned with mushrooms, he was busy in the kitchen.

Hearing movement from the living room, Liang Jinyi poured boiling water over the crucian carp he had seared in the bottom of the pot, then turned toward Jiang Mi and said, “Brother, dinner should be ready in about twenty minutes.”

The living room and dining room in Jiang Mi’s apartment were connected, while the kitchen had a sliding door nearly three meters wide. With the kitchen door open, the living room was visible at a glance. Jiang Mi tossed his laptop bag onto the coffee table, loosened his tie, and walked into the kitchen.

Glancing over the abundance of ingredients spread across the counter, Jiang Mi asked in a peculiar tone, “Jinyi, stop worrying about dinner for a minute. First, tell me why twenty million suddenly showed up in my account.”

Liang Jinyi had planned crucian carp and tofu soup, dry-fried squid, stir-fried chicken with green peppers, and a plate of stir-fried vegetables for dinner.

He had prepared all the ingredients in advance and had the fish soup simmering in a clay pot, planning to cook the remaining dishes once Jiang Mi came home. Hearing the question, Liang Jinyi turned around and said, “Brother, didn’t I tell you last night? I’m willing to give you all my money.”

Jiang Mi reached out and flicked Liang Jinyi on the forehead.

Liang Jinyi covered his forehead in displeasure and called, “Brother.”

Jiang Mi sighed in amazement. “Little Brother, I didn’t realize you were so rich.”

“I don’t really have any desire to spend money, so I’ve just been saving it.” Liang Jinyi was telling the truth. He had little interest in material things, and his family covered all his living expenses. Now that he was living with Jiang Mi, his brother even gave him spending money every month, so naturally, everything else had simply accumulated in his account.

Jiang Mi said, “I’ll go to the bank tomorrow and transfer the money back to you.” An eight-figure transfer counted as a large transaction and couldn’t simply be handled through mobile banking.

Liang Jinyi immediately refused.

Amused, Jiang Mi asked, “Little Brother, what would I even need your money for? To get myself a wife?”

Liang Jinyi’s dark eyes instantly narrowed, and his voice dropped. “Brother wants to get married?”

Jiang Mi looked helpless. “Little Brother, you need to focus on the point. What I mean is, I’m a grown man who’s been working for years. Why would I take money from a minor? If you really want to be filial to me, then wait until you start working in a few years. Once you get your salary, you can give me half of it.”

Of course, even after Liang Jinyi started working, Jiang Mi would never actually take his money. He was only trying to put an end to Liang Jinyi’s current desire to hand over all his savings.

“Anyway, you’re still waiting for your dad to give you pocket money. I can’t take this money from you.” Jiang Mi’s expression turned serious.

Liang Jinyi tried persuading him a few more times, but Jiang Mi refused to budge, insisting that he could not accept the money. Realizing that there was no way he could convince Jiang Mi today, Liang Jinyi lowered his eyes and stared at him for a while before finally saying, “All right, then.”

The moment he finished speaking, Liang Jinyi heard the clay pot bubbling over. He quickly turned around to check on the nourishing fish soup he was making for Jiang Mi.

After dinner, the two of them washed the dishes together. Then Liang Jinyi brought his test papers into Jiang Mi’s study to work on them, while Jiang Mi opened his laptop and continued working on his document.

The next day, before going to work, Jiang Mi stopped by the bank and transferred the money back to Liang Jinyi. Afterward, he headed to the office.

Gu Yuan arrived at the firm in the afternoon. Once he got there, the first thing he did was tell Jiang Mi about the dinner with Li Qingyu.

“You didn’t show up. President Li was pretty disappointed.”

As he spoke, Gu Yuan glanced at Jiang Mi’s expression and teased, “Actually, President Li is about your age, she’s beautiful and capable. Maybe you could…”

Jiang Mi knew exactly what Gu Yuan was implying. Stretching lazily, he replied with a smile, “Sure. Then I’ll go fall in love, and I’ll leave the firm entirely in your capable hands, Lawyer Gu.”

“Don’t do that, Xuedi. I was only joking,” Gu Yuan hurriedly said.

Jiang Mi shook his head helplessly.

Only then did Gu Yuan turn to business. Li Qingyu was fairly satisfied with their firm, but they had not reached the final stage yet, so it was still uncertain whether the partnership would go through. From what Gu Yuan said, however, Jiang Mi could tell that their chances were quite good, so he nodded to show that he understood.

Gu Yuan then asked, “Lawyer Jiang, you’re going to dinner with President Cheng tonight, right?”

“I am.” President Cheng was the same straightforward, heavy-drinking client they had met at the beginning of the month. “The cooperation is progressing smoothly. I definitely have to attend this dinner.”

“All right,” Gu Yuan said. “I’ll bring Niu Yu’ang along tonight. He can hold his liquor.”

Niu Yu’ang was a new employee they had hired at the beginning of the month. His professional abilities were average, but he was good with people. He had a kind of honest shrewdness about him, and more importantly, he could drink.

“Sounds good,” Jiang Mi replied.

After work that evening, Jiang Mi, Gu Yuan, and Niu Yu’ang headed straight to the star-rated hotel restaurant they had reserved in advance. About half an hour later, President Cheng arrived with two subordinates—and sure enough, he had also instructed his assistant to bring a bottle of liquor.

The moment Jiang Mi saw it, his eyelid twitched.

President Cheng had brought a green bottle of Guojiao Maotai. The damn thing held five jin of liquor, and there were only seven of them in total!

Fortunately, President Cheng did not spend the entire evening dragging Jiang Mi into drinking with him. After chatting with Niu Yu’ang for a while, he discovered that the young man was actually from his hometown. President Cheng immediately shifted his attention to him, pulling him into conversation and drinking with him instead.

Jiang Mi watched Niu Yu’ang’s face gradually turn red as glass after glass of baijiu went down his throat.

He silently decided that when payday came next month, he was definitely giving the guy an extra bonus.

After several rounds of drinks, the phone in Jiang Mi’s pocket began to vibrate. He took it out and saw that Liang Jinyi was calling. Jiang Mi glanced up at the table. President Cheng was still enthusiastically telling Niu Yu’ang, who was more than twenty years younger than him, what the North had been like when he was a child.

Without drawing attention to himself, Jiang Mi stood up, walked out of the private room, and answered the call.

The moment the call connected, Liang Jinyi’s voice came through. “Brother, where are you? Why aren’t you home?”

Jiang Mi paused. “How do you know I’m not home? Weren’t you going back to the Liang residence tonight?”

“My dad had dinner with me, then went out again, so I came back.” Liang Jinyi glanced at the time. “It’s already nine thirty. Why aren’t you home yet?”

“Oh, I have a business dinner tonight. I’m still out,” Jiang Mi said.

“A business dinner?” Liang Jinyi repeated, his tone suddenly turning peculiar. “It isn’t with that President Li, is it?”

“What are you thinking? Didn’t I promise you I wouldn’t go to any dinners with President Li?” Although Niu Yu’ang had become the main drinker tonight, Jiang Mi had still drunk quite a bit himself. They couldn’t exactly leave all the drinking to a young man in his early twenties. Slightly irritated, he added, “It’s with President Cheng. A man.”

“Then where are you having dinner tonight?” Liang Jinyi pressed.

“Why? Is something wrong?” Jiang Mi asked.

“I’m coming to pick you up.”

Jiang Mi laughed. “Jinyi, you’re coming to pick me up? Do you even have a driver’s license? How are you going to get here?”

Liang Jinyi didn’t see that as a problem at all. “I’ll take a taxi.” Then his voice darkened. “Brother, you don’t want me to come pick you up. Don’t tell me you really are having dinner with that President Li who has ulterior motives toward you.”

Jiang Mi couldn’t help taking a deep breath. He said irritably, “Liang Jinyi, I’m worried about you. The temperature has dropped sharply these past few days. I’m afraid you’ll get cold.”

“I’m not afraid of the cold.”

Then, in a firm voice, he pressed again, “Brother, which hotel are you at?”

Left with no other choice, Jiang Mi told him the name of the hotel. Although Liang Jinyi’s clinginess was beginning to make him a little exasperated, Jiang Mi was softhearted in the end. He still doted on the little brother he had spoiled since childhood, so he reminded him, “The dinner probably won’t end for another hour. Don’t come too early.”

“Okay, Brother.”

When Jiang Mi returned to the private room, President Cheng spotted him immediately. With flushed cheeks, he waved Jiang Mi over.

“Lawyer Jiang, where… where did you go? This… this bottle of Maotai is almost empty. Hurry over here… drink some more.”

Jiang Mi could only steel himself and sit down beside President Cheng, drinking glass after glass with him.

In the end, President Cheng decided that drinking only baijiu wasn’t satisfying enough and ordered a bottle of red wine as well.

Jiang Mi’s estimate was about right. An hour later, President Cheng was so drunk that his eyes had gone unfocused, and the drinking party finally came to an end.

Jiang Mi and President Cheng’s assistant supported him loosely from either side as they made their way downstairs. When they reached the first-floor lobby, Jiang Mi spotted a young man dressed in black sitting in the waiting area, staring directly at him.

Although Jiang Mi was already tipsy, his self-control had always been exceptional. With President Cheng still present, he would never allow himself to be overcome by drunkenness. Still clearheaded, he gave Liang Jinyi a look, signaling for him not to come over just yet.

Two minutes later, Jiang Mi escorted President Cheng to the hotel entrance. When President Cheng’s driver pulled up, Jiang Mi helped him into the car, humored his drunken insistence that they meet again next time, and then saw off the two subordinates who had accompanied him.

Only then did Jiang Mi finally breathe a sigh of relief.

The weather had already turned bitterly cold. The hotel was heated, but outside, a piercing northern wind was blowing.

Over his neatly tailored suit, Jiang Mi wore a camel-colored overcoat. He had also drunk quite a lot, and the baijiu warmed him from the inside, so he didn’t feel particularly cold.

Gu Yuan’s alcohol tolerance was about the same as Jiang Mi’s, but President Cheng had focused most of his drinking efforts on Jiang Mi and Niu Yu’ang, so Gu Yuan was still fairly clearheaded. Supporting the barely conscious Niu Yu’ang, he said, “I’ll take Niu Yu’ang home. Jiang Mi, can you get home by yourself?”

Alcohol always showed easily on Jiang Mi’s face. While President Cheng had still been there, he had managed to hold himself together through sheer force of will. But now that President Cheng was gone and the weight on his mind had lifted, Jiang Mi visibly seemed several degrees drunker. His eyes were watery and flushed, and he was clearly no longer entirely lucid.

Jiang Mi raised a hand and yawned, signaling for Gu Yuan not to worry. Looking toward the young man walking over from a short distance away, he said slowly, “Xuezhang, don’t worry about me. My… my little brother is here.”

As soon as the words left his mouth, Liang Jinyi reached his side and steadied Jiang Mi’s slightly swaying body.

After supporting Jiang Mi, Liang Jinyi greeted Gu Yuan politely. “Brother Gu.”

Now that Jiang Mi would not be going home alone, Gu Yuan relaxed. He said to Liang Jinyi, “All right, Little Brother. Let’s head to the parking lot.”

They had already called for designated drivers before leaving the hotel. By the time they reached the parking lot, both drivers had arrived. Jiang Mi slowly fished out his car keys and handed them to the driver. He was so drunk that he even forgot to say goodbye to Gu Yuan before swaying his way into the back seat.

Liang Jinyi sat down beside him.

“Where to?” the designated driver asked cheerfully, turning around.

Liang Jinyi gave him the address.

A little over twenty minutes later, the driver parked the car in the underground garage of Building Two at Shimao Tingfang. After saying goodbye to his two passengers, he left the parking garage first.

“Brother, are you okay?” Liang Jinyi switched on the overhead light and looked worriedly at Jiang Mi, whose eyes were flushed at the corners from alcohol.

Jiang Mi lifted his eyelids. His peach-blossom eyes were completely misted over, his gaze unfocused.

“I’m… I’m fine.”

With that, Jiang Mi opened the door on his side and stumbled out of the car.

Liang Jinyi quickly opened his own door and hurried around to Jiang Mi’s side. His large hand closed around Jiang Mi’s slender waist as he supported him upstairs.

By the time they reached the apartment, Liang Jinyi was certain that Jiang Mi was truly very drunk tonight. Both his eyes had fallen shut, and his entire body leaned limply against him.

Liang Jinyi called “Brother” twice.

In a haze, Jiang Mi managed to open his eyes a fraction. Then his faintly reddened eyelids slowly drifted shut again, his long lashes casting crescent-shaped shadows beneath his eyes.

Liang Jinyi could only support Jiang Mi as he helped him back to his bedroom.

Jiang Mi did not even remember to take off his clothes. The moment he reached the room, he collapsed onto the bed and closed his eyes tightly, sinking deeper into his drunken stupor.

The heating had recently been turned on in Bei City, and the indoor temperature was as high as twenty degrees Celsius. Jiang Mi was wearing a camel-colored wool coat over his suit jacket and shirt, and it wasn’t long before heat began to build inside him. His brows furrowed as a thin sheen of sweat gradually appeared on his forehead.

Liang Jinyi lowered his head and helped him out of his overcoat and suit jacket, then removed his leather shoes and socks.

Afterward, Liang Jinyi went into the master bathroom and dampened a washcloth with warm water. Returning to Jiang Mi’s bedside, he lowered his eyes and gently wiped away the fine beads of sweat that had formed on Jiang Mi’s forehead and neck.

Once he had finished, Liang Jinyi did not move away from the bed. He simply stood there, quietly gazing at the sleeping Jiang Mi.

When he was younger, he had often had the chance to look at Jiang Mi like this because, back then, the two of them had slept in the same bed.

And since Liang Jinyi usually woke up earlier than Jiang Mi, he had always had plenty of time to quietly observe him. But ever since Jiang Mi returned from U Country, he had not had another opportunity to look at him so closely and undisturbed.

His finger came to rest on Jiang Mi’s well-defined brow bone, then slowly traced downward—over the elegant bridge of his nose, and finally to his lips, which naturally curved slightly upward at the corners.

Jiang Mi’s lips were neither thick nor thin, but just the right fullness, their moist, rosy color irresistibly enticing.

Liang Jinyi stared at that alluring shade of red. The index finger resting against Jiang Mi’s lips unconsciously pressed down harder.

As though sensing the discomfort even in his sleep, Jiang Mi let out a soft murmur. His lips parted slightly with the sound, and Liang Jinyi’s finger, which had been resting against the seam of his lips, suddenly slipped between them and was enveloped by Jiang Mi’s mouth.

Feeling his finger surrounded by slick warmth, Liang Jinyi’s eyes instantly darkened. Unable to stop himself, he pushed his finger farther in, probing deeper into the warm, moist depths of Jiang Mi’s mouth.
