Inside a secluded classroom, six players—four men and two women—sat together, the atmosphere heavy.
If Mu Lantu and Xu Huazhang were here, they might have recognized them.
Both sides had crossed paths briefly in the cafeteria on their first day at Infinite University.
For most students, entering Infinite University was like stepping halfway into hell. But for thrill-seekers at heart, this place was paradise.
The six in this classroom were the latter type.

Qian Weiyun snapped angrily, “Whose side are you on? Xu Huazhang holding lectures like that is squeezing our survival space in the dungeons! If all the players learn the tricks he’s teaching, how will we have any advantage in future dungeons?” Before, they hadn’t even bothered to consider the other players as competitors. But from now on, anyone could become a serious threat.
Sun Jinglei glanced nervously at the dark-faced youth resting with his eyes closed. “Boss, Qian Weiyun is right. Xu Huazhang has pushed us to a dead end. We can’t let him live!”
“Brother Dian.” Zhou Chunyu massaged Li Dian’s shoulders, her soft voice carrying a cruel edge. “Next time he gives another lecture, even more people will be fooled by him. Better strike first—wait too long and we’ll suffer for it!”

Startled, Wu Qiushuang nuzzled against Li Dian’s shoulder, whining in a sugary tone, “Brother Dian, I’m only worried for you. Chunyu is misunderstanding me again~”
Finally, Li Dian opened his eyes. He enjoyed this kind of rivalry between women—so long as they didn’t go too far. “Alright, I understand your intentions.”
After a pause, he added, “Since we can’t touch them here at school, we’ll take care of them inside a dungeon.”
Qian Weiyun immediately asked, “Boss, you’ve got a plan?”
Li Dian didn’t answer directly. Instead, he raised his wrist, his tone brooking no refusal. “Each of you, transfer me 1,000 gold.”
“Brother Dian—” Wu Qiushuang planted a big kiss on his rough, dark face. “I just bought a set of cosmetics, I don’t have much left. Can I transfer next time?”
Zhou Chunyu quickly slipped to his other side, clinging tightly to his arm. “Brother Dian, I just bought new lingerie. How about I transfer 500 first?”
Laughing heartily, Li Dian hugged Zhou Chunyu. “Alright, alright, that’s fine too!”
Wu Qiushuang, now ignored, pouted in grievance.
Zhao Qingfeng, Qian Weiyun, and Sun Jinglei exchanged glances before looking away.
Zhao Qingfeng silently transferred 1,000 gold.
Qian Weiyun hesitated a long while before finally sending his, watching his account shrink with heartache. He had saved it up with great difficulty.
Sun Jinglei asked cautiously, “Brother Dian, can I transfer half for now?”
Li Dian frowned. But since he had just allowed Zhou Chunyu to do the same, refusing Sun Jinglei would make it look like he favored women over brothers. Pressing down his displeasure, he nodded reluctantly. “Fine. I know things are tight, but once we take out Xu Huazhang and Mu Lantu, everything they’ve got—gold, supplies—will be ours. Just today’s lecture alone earned them over 10,000. Imagine how much more they’re holding. Do you think I’d shortchange you then?”
The five underlings immediately showered him with flattery.

Before moving in, they returned to their old dorm to inform their roommates.
As soon as they stepped inside, someone rushed at them. Xu Huazhang swiftly pulled Mu Lantu into his arms and sidestepped.
“Li Kaige?”
“Sorry, sorry.” Li Kaige steadied himself, smiling apologetically. “I heard Xu Huazhang gave a lecture today—packed house. I just wanted to congratulate you both!”
Xu Huazhang replied distantly, “Thanks, Li.”
“We brought drinks for everyone.”
Mu Lantu placed the bags he carried on the desk, handing out bottles. For those not present, he left them on their desks.
Whatever they thought inside, the roommates all smiled and thanked them.
“Mu, Xu, you must’ve made over 10,000 gold today, right?” Li Kaige said eagerly. “I really don’t have money to eat anymore. Could you lend me some? I’d be grateful forever! Once we get out, I’ll have my parents give each of you a million!”
“Sorry, not convenient,” Xu Huazhang answered curtly.
Mu Lantu walked over to Song Bochao. “I’ve got fresh intel. Right now only Huazhang and I know it. It’s worth 500 gold. Interested?”
Without hesitation, Song Bochao transferred the money before asking, “What’s the news?”
Mu Lantu handed him a slip of paper.
After secretly reading it, Song Bochao’s eyes widened, then he beamed. “That’s excellent news!”
“Everyone, Huazhang and I are moving out. Take care of yourselves.”
The room erupted.
“Moving out? To where?”
“Ask Song Bochao. We’re leaving.”
Mu Lantu and Xu Huazhang headed to Building 14 without running into anyone.
The whole place was eerily quiet, as if no one lived there.
They didn’t dwell on it—truths revealed themselves eventually.
Taking the elevator to the 18th floor, they unlocked their new home.
At 160 square meters, it was more than comfortable for two. Fully furnished and equipped, all they needed was to move in.
The view outside was a cityscape—so realistic it resembled a painting.
They spent some time arranging things to their liking.
Then Mu Lantu, unable to wait, said, “Let’s check out the Entertainment Space!”
Hand in hand, they tapped the option, and the next second appeared in a vast hall, still holding hands.
The place bustled with people, none surprised at their sudden appearance.

Options included: arcade, internet café, card room, cinema, KTV, bar, racetrack, basketball court, roller rink, sauna, shopping street, and more.
Mu Lantu chose Internet Café without hesitation.
Xu Huazhang did the same.
In an instant, they were at the entrance of a café.
Inside were hundreds of computers, a dozen in use. Mu Lantu’s sharp eyes noticed one youth playing a game that existed in the real world.
Another holographic prompt appeared:
“Internet Café – 20 gold per hour.”
They scanned at the counter. After deducting 20 gold, the gate opened.
“Huazhang, you set up the PC. I’ll ask around.”
Xu Huazhang nodded.
Mu Lantu approached a guy watching a movie, placing a soda on his desk.
The man glanced back, raised a brow, and removed his headphones. “What is it?”
“Sorry to bother you. I’m Mu Lantu, first time here. Mind chatting a bit?”
“Ah, a freshman.” The man’s expression cleared. “Not much to say. You can see it yourself—surf the web, watch shows, play games. But no way to send messages outside. That’s it.”
He started putting his headphones back on.
Mu Lantu set another soda on the desk. “Senior, could you tell me more? I’ll pay in gold.”
The man sneered. “No need. Rules here forbid it. The only thing I can say: do more dungeons. Now don’t bother me.”
Mu Lantu, prepared for such an answer, wasn’t too disappointed. He thanked him and returned to Xu Huazhang.
Xu Huazhang shook his head—apps looked identical to the real world, but all social platforms were useless. No messages could be typed.
“Baby, head back? We can play more tomorrow.”
Tomorrow was Saturday, then Sunday. Infinite University had no classes planned, but even on weekends, leaving campus was nearly impossible.
“Let’s go back.”
Having grasped the basics, Mu Lantu wasn’t eager to explore further. They left the Entertainment Space and returned to their dorm.
That night was their first truly private evening since entering Infinite University.
They washed up early, cuddled close, and slipped into the bedroom…

After another intimate round, they got up satisfied, cleaned up, ate, and then entered the Entertainment Space again.
This time, Mu Lantu dragged Xu Huazhang into a KTV. They booked a room and sang for over two hours, venting freely.
The cost was steep—50 gold per hour.
Mu Lantu began to understand why Infinite University required a minimum balance of 4,444 gold to reach Level 1. With too little money, entering the Entertainment Space was pointless—most activities were unaffordable.
They then visited a bar—a quiet lounge.
Here, real-world drinks were available, but the cheapest cost 100 gold per glass. Not per bottle—per glass.
Players could also bring in alcohol from dungeons, including fine liquor, but drinking alone outside lacked the bar’s atmosphere.
