Daily Life of Being Turned Gay by the Male Lead After Transmigrating into an Apocalypse – CH26

Fighting

Chapter 26: Fighting

Just then, an exceptionally tall, muscular man standing behind Brother Biao looked at the charred corpse on the ground and swallowed hard. Yet when his gaze shifted back to Chu Yang, the sheer greed and lust in his eyes managed to overpower his fear.

He licked his chapped lips with a coarse, raspy chuckle. “Kid… you really are something else! Brother Biao likes your type, and so do I! Stick with us from now on, and you’ll be living the good life!”

Trying to sound imposing, he flexed his bicep, putting his thick muscles on full display. “See this? I’m an Ability User too! Strength-type! My offense and defense are both top-tier—way better than some pretty boy who can only throw sparks. As long as you take good care of me, I guarantee—”

“Screw your entire bloodline back eighteen generations!!!” Chu Yang completely lost his temper.

In all his twenty-odd years of life, he had never been subjected to such vile, disgusting looks and filthy remarks!

With a sharp shing, his Tang dao left its sheath, the gleaming steel pointing straight at the brute’s face.

“Why don’t you take a piss and look at your own reflection?! You look like a mutant toad that crawled out of a radioactive ditch! With a mug like that, you’re not even worthy to lick the soles of Brother Jiang’s boots! And you have the nerve to hit on your Grandpa Chu?! You’re like a dung beetle wearing a mask—shameless and foul to the core! If I don’t beat the living daylights out of you today, consider yourself blessed!”

Before his final curse even faded, Chu Yang shot forward!

With a snap of his left wrist, an invisible Spatial Blade distorted the air and tore ahead with a piercing whistle, aimed directly at the man’s face. Meanwhile, the Tang dao in his right hand followed close behind, carving a deadly arc toward the brute’s chest!

The muscular thug never expected Chu Yang to fight as viciously as he cursed, and move even faster!

Caught off guard, the brute let out a furious roar, crossing his forearms in front of his chest. His skin instantly hardened, taking on a stony, grayish-brown sheen.

Bang!

The Spatial Blade slammed into his forearms with a heavy thud, shaking his massive frame.

CLANG!

Right on its heels, Chu Yang’s blade struck down with full force, producing the deafening screech of metal striking solid stone.

Though his enhanced defense allowed him to withstand the edge, the tremendous kinetic force behind the strike drove the brute back three full steps, utter disbelief written across his face.

“Damn it! This little punk actually has real power!” Both shocked and enraged, the thug bellowed and threw a devastating counter-punch.

Enveloped in a dense, rock-like crust, his fist cut through the air with a brutal whistle, aiming straight for Chu Yang’s temple. If that punch landed cleanly, Chu Yang’s skull would split wide open!

“Is that all the skill you’ve got to embarrass yourself with?!” Chu Yang fired back, his reflexes lightning-fast.

He ducked low in a fluid crouch, the gust of the punch grazing past his cheek with a stinging rush of air.

Seizing the opening, he swept his blade horizontally toward the brute’s lower stance. “Your swings are so weak they barely tickle! Did you forget to eat, you useless trash?!”

Seeing their second-in-command locked in combat, the remaining thugs swallowed their fear, gripped their pipes and machetes, and swarmed forward to overwhelm them with sheer numbers. An all-out melee erupted!

Jiang Jue’s icy gaze swept across the forecourt, pausing briefly on Chu Yang. Seeing that the boy had the upper hand, Jiang Jue turned his full, chilling attention to the charging mob.

He moved like a wraith, leaving fleeting afterimages as he wove through the crowd.

Without even resorting to his Lightning Ability, he relied purely on ruthless strikes, brutal kicks, and sweeping blade work to shatter bones and drop the attackers one by one, leaving them writhing and howling on the pavement.

On the other side, Chu Yang’s duel with the rock-skinned brute had reached a fever pitch. The man possessed immense strength and tough armor, but Chu Yang’s agile footwork and tricky blade angles kept him running in circles, constantly swinging at empty air.

“You slippery little rat! All you know how to do is dodge?!” Unable to land a single hit and sporting several stinging cuts, the brute grew increasingly manic. In a fit of rage, he slammed a massive fist into the side of the metal fuel pump.

Clang!

The heavy metal casing crumpled inward under the violent impact.

“Dodge?” Cold resolve flared in Chu Yang’s eyes.

Capitalizing on the opening created by the man’s wild rage, Chu Yang dropped into a low forward slide, ducking beneath the sweeping arm. His Tang dao whipped upward at a lethal, upward angle, driving with ruthless speed straight toward the brute’s exposed flank!

Pfft!

This time, the rocky armor couldn’t hold against a strike infused with Chu Yang’s full strength and fury. The tempered tip sheared through the hardened muscle, biting deep into the flesh. Dark crimson immediately stained the man’s shirt.

“Aaargh—!!!”

A bloodcurdling shriek tore from the brute’s throat. Clutching his bleeding side, he staggered backward, his face contorting in agony. All the previous arrogance and lechery had vanished, replaced by sheer, suffocating terror.

“Don’t… don’t kill me! I was wrong! Big brother! Grandpa! Have mercy! Spare my life!” Tears and snot ran down his face, stripping away every shred of his former swagger.

Chu Yang had no intention of showing mercy. He closed the distance with his blood-slicked blade, sneering coldly. “Now you know to call me Grandpa? Weren’t you full of confidence a minute ago? Talking about making me follow you? Pah! Go take a look in the mirror—you look like a toad flattened by a steamroller, and you still dream of eating swan meat? Today, I’m chopping you up for zombie bait!”

With a clean, decisive swing, he ended the fight.

Watching the heavy body collapse into the dirt, Chu Yang curled his lip. “Tsk. Seems like after killing so many zombies, my stomach has gotten pretty tough. Putting down human scum doesn’t phase me at all.”

Over on the other side, Jiang Jue had already cleared out the rest of the lackeys, leaving only Brother Biao barely clinging to his feet.

A crackling arc of blue electricity flashed from Jiang Jue’s fingertips, striking Brother Biao squarely in the knee.

“Gah!”

Brother Biao collapsed onto both knees with a pained cry. Before he could recover, the cold edge of Jiang Jue’s blade rested flat against his throat.

The scarred leader froze, cold sweat pouring down his temples. He could feel the unvarnished, suffocating killing intent radiating from the man above him.

“B-Brother… it’s a misunderstanding… all a big misunderstanding… the supplies… the fuel… take whatever you want… just spare my life…” he stammered, trembling from head to toe.

Jiang Jue’s eyes remained completely impassive. With a subtle flick of his wrist, the blade swept forward.

Squelch—

Brother Biao’s pleas were cut short. His eyes bulged as his body went limp, collapsing into the dirt where he lay still, staring blankly into nothing.

Jiang Jue smoothly flicked the blade clean and sheathed it with an easy click, as though he had merely swatted away a minor annoyance. He turned to Chu Yang, who was jogging over. “Are you alright?”

“Never better!” Chu Yang sheathed his Tang dao, clapped the dust from his hands, and strolled to Jiang Jue’s side. Glancing down at the bodies, he spat in disgust. “Useless scumbags. Keeping them alive was just a waste of oxygen. Still, we should thank them for giving us all this gas.”

Without wasting another second on the mess in the yard, the two headed straight for the underground fuel storage at the rear of the station.

They pried open the heavy access cover, located clean hoses and transfer pumps, and methodically pumped the fuel. After filling the RV’s tank to the brim, they loaded several large, sealed drums of reserve diesel into the vehicle, fully stocked and ready to roll.
