Daily Life of Being Turned Gay by the Male Lead After Transmigrating into an Apocalypse – CH110

Court Death

Chapter 110: Court Death

Jiang Jue didn’t hesitate for a second. He gestured for Wang Qiang and Li Yu to hang back, signaling them to hold their ground and protect Wang Li and the rest of the group.

The next moment, Jiang Jue vanished from the window like a ghost.

Crash! A deafening explosion of sound ripped through the air as the villa’s heavy front door was blasted open by an immense, invisible force, sending jagged wooden splinters flying in every direction.

The chaotic commotion inside the living room came to a sudden, dead halt. More than a dozen thugs whipped their heads around in shock, staring at the shattered doorway. Framed by the faint light spilling in from outside stood a tall, imposing figure. His body radiated a killing intent so thick and heavy that it was almost suffocating.

“Who the hell is that?!” The scarred, burly leader known as “Brother Qiang” reacted the fastest. He roughly shoved the girl beneath him aside and panicked, snatching up the machete lying nearby.

Jiang Jue didn’t answer.

He simply moved. He was so incredibly fast that he left only a blur in his wake. In the blink of an eye, he appeared right beside the man who was still pinning down a middle-aged woman.

Before the thug could even see his attacker, an unstoppable force clamped around his throat. He was hoisted into the air like a ragged sack of potatoes and slammed ruthlessly onto the hard floor!

Snap!

The sharp crack of a breaking neck echoed loudly in the deathly silent living room.

The man didn’t even have the chance to scream. His body twitched twice, then went completely still.

“Ah—!” Several of the captive women shrieked in terror, instinctively curling themselves into tight balls.

“Damn you! You’re courting death!” Brother Qiang, flying into a shocked and furious rage, swung his machete and lunged at Jiang Jue. Finally realizing what was happening, the other thugs didn’t even bother pulling up their pants. Grabbing whatever weapons were close by, they roared and swarmed forward.

But they were already too late.

Chu Yang came crashing gracefully through a side window. The cold steel of his long blade flashed, cleanly cutting down a man who was scrambling toward a weapon rack in the corner.

At the exact same time, Chu Yang thrust his left hand into the empty air. The space around another thug, who had just managed to pull out a pistol, violently twisted and compressed. The man’s neck snapped at a gruesome, unnatural angle, killing him instantly.

Lin Xiao was right behind him, his movements fast and utterly ruthless. He kicked a rushing lackey hard enough to send him flying, fluidly snatched the iron pipe from the man’s falling hand, and swung it brutally into another thug’s skull.

In less than three minutes, the only people left standing in the living room were Jiang Jue and his team.

The floor was strewn with over a dozen corpses, along with a few severely injured thugs groaning in agony. A thick, sickening metallic stench of blood rapidly filled the air, completely overpowering the foul, stagnant odor that had hung in the room just moments before.

The scarred leader, Brother Qiang, was now pinned firmly beneath Jiang Jue’s heavy boot. Blood spilled steadily from his mouth and nose. His earlier arrogance had vanished without a trace, replaced by eyes wide with absolute fear and despair.

“Spare… please spare me… Boss… Lord… I was wrong… I’ll never do it again…” he babbled incoherently, his body trembling violently from the excruciating pain and terror.

Jiang Jue’s dark eyes remained completely devoid of emotion as he applied a fraction more pressure to his foot.

Snap.

Another sickening crack echoed in the room. Brother Qiang’s pathetic begging stopped abruptly. His head lolled loosely to one side, his eyes locked wide open in a frozen stare of incredulous fear.

Stepping away from the corpse, Jiang Jue picked up a discarded shirt from the floor. He walked over to a young girl who was curled into a trembling ball in the corner and gently draped it over her shoulders. The girl looked up in terror, staring at Jiang Jue’s cold, sharp profile. Yet strangely, she didn’t feel scared of him; instead, a dazed sense of relief washed over her, the realization that she had survived.

“It’s over now,” Jiang Jue said. His voice was as cool as ever, but his movements were as gentle as they could be.

In silence, Chu Yang and Lin Xiao gathered the rest of the scattered clothes from the floor and handed them to the other shivering women.

Li Yu and Jiang Lin rushed into the room right after. Taking in the horrific aftermath and the traumatized victims, the two women’s eyes instantly reddened with tears. They hurried forward to help the victims cover up.

“Don’t be afraid… you don’t have to be afraid anymore… those animals are dead. They’re all dead…” Jiang Lin, her eyes brimming with tears, handed a relatively clean shirt to the middle-aged woman who was shivering and clutching her daughter tightly. “Auntie… it’s okay now… hurry, put this on the little girl…” Jiang Lin’s voice trembled as she spoke.

The middle-aged woman seemed to snap out of a nightmare. She pulled her daughter into a fierce hug and burst into loud, heartbroken sobs. “Jiaojiao! Oh, my Jiaojiao! It’s okay, it’s okay, Mom is here, Mom is right here…”

Safe in her mother’s arms, the little girl finally let out a loud wail, crying with a hoarse, desperate voice.

The other women also broke down, releasing long-suppressed, agonizing sobs. Their crying echoed through the quiet villa, thick with endless grief, humiliation, and the overwhelming, complicated relief of survival.

Unable to bear the sight any longer, Chu Yang turned his face away.

He had known for a long time that the apocalypse would strip away humanity’s morals, leaving behind nothing but filth and depravity. Still, witnessing it firsthand—especially seeing underage children among the victims—was entirely different. His chest heaved violently. He took a few deep, ragged breaths, barely managing to suppress the sickening wave of nausea and the dark, violent killing intent surging in his veins.

His cold gaze swept over the thugs on the ground who hadn’t died yet. He walked straight toward a lower-ranking leader whose leg had been shattered by Lin Xiao. The man was desperately dragging his crippled limb across the floor, leaving a smear of blood as he tried to crawl toward the door.

Seeing Chu Yang approaching, the thug was scared completely out of his wits. He began pleading frantically, “Spare me! Spare me, hero! I—”

Chu Yang didn’t let him finish. His eyes darkened with absolute fury. Raising his heavy boot, he stomped ruthlessly directly into the man’s groin!

“Ah—!!!” A shrill, inhuman scream tore from the thug’s throat. He instantly curled up into a tight ball like a cooked shrimp, his face twisting in unimaginable agony. Tears and snot streamed down his face as he rolled frantically on the floor, clutching his crotch.

Chu Yang’s expression didn’t change as he stepped over to another thug who was clutching a bleeding wound, having already wet his pants in sheer terror.

Having just watched his companion’s brutal punishment, the man kowtowed against the bloody floor like a broken machine. “Hero! Boss! Ancestor! Spare me! I swear I’ll never do it again! I’ll do anything! Just please let me live!”

Chu Yang’s eyes were as cold as glaciers. He simply raised his foot and, with a sickening snap, cleanly and decisively stomped down, shattering the man’s intact lower leg.

Another round of agonizing screams pierced the air.

Su Mubai walked in from outside, his gaze sweeping over the bloody scene. He stepped up to Jiang Jue and spoke in a low voice, “Boss, the perimeter is clear. No one managed to slip away. There are other people locked up in the villa’s basement and on the second floor. Most of them are just ordinary survivors. A few have been tortured pretty badly, but none are in immediate danger of dying.”

Jiang Jue gave a short nod, then turned to Lin Xiao. “Search this place. See if there are any supplies, especially gasoline.”

Lin Xiao nodded and led a few people to quickly comb through the villa. In a storeroom connected to the garage, they hit a goldmine of stockpiled supplies: twenty heavily sealed barrels of gasoline, along with multiple crates of canned food, compressed biscuits, bottled water, rice, flour, and cooking oil.

Meanwhile, up in the master bedroom, Little Yu managed to pry open a hidden wall safe, uncovering two small cloth bags filled with an assortment of colored crystal cores.

“Not a bad haul,” Jiang Jue noted as he took inventory of their findings.

Back in the living room, Li Yu had begun handing out food and water to the rescued women. Nearby, Jiang Lin was softly comforting the little girl, Jiaojiao. The child had finally stopped crying and was clinging tightly to her mother, taking small, cautious sips of water, though her eyes remained red and swollen.

“Scum…” Wang Qiang muttered, glaring at the corpses on the floor with lingering disgust. “They got off way too easy.”

“In this apocalypse, death is sometimes a mercy,” Chu Yang replied indifferently, his gaze sweeping over the traumatized survivors. “It’s the people who survive that have to endure the real hell.”

Chu Yang stepped forward and extended his right hand. A soft halo of light enveloped the heavy gasoline drums, the crates of supplies, and the bags of crystal cores. In the blink of an eye, they all vanished from the room, securely stored away in his spatial dimension.

“This should be enough to keep us going for a while.” Chu Yang withdrew his hand, and the subtle ripple in the air faded away with it.
