Waiting for a Breakup Every Day – CH2

The Perfect Lover

Chapter 2: The Perfect Lover

Jiang Yu lay in the hospital for seven days, watching the grand drama of Han Cheng and Ji Xu’s reunion for seven days. His back finally didn’t hurt anymore, and he could move around.

Jiang Yu didn’t like hospitals. He was hospitalized for a car accident when he first came, and all three of his family members left him in the hospital. Every time he came to the hospital, he would think of the tragic car accident.

But he had to come for his back injury. Life is sometimes so helpless.

Jiang Yu was very happy to be discharged from the hospital. He packed his luggage faster than his little assistant Wang Huan. After packing his luggage, Jiang Yu couldn’t wait to carry a bag and prepare to leave.

Wang Huan was startled and hurriedly ran over, snatching the bag from Jiang Yu’s hand and saying, “My brother, don’t carry such a heavy thing, what if you injure your back again? Han Cheng will eat me alive.”

“I don’t have a hobby of eating people.” The hospital room door was suddenly opened, and the man, towering at 1.85 meters, walked up to Jiang Yu. Jiang Yu, at 1.75 meters, had to look up at him.

“President Han, I didn’t mean that.” Wang Huan became nervous upon seeing Han Cheng and quickly explained.

“Take your luggage and go downstairs. The car is waiting.” Han Cheng didn’t pay attention to Wang Huan, naturally put his arm around Jiang Yu’s waist, gently pinched the soft flesh, and asked with a gentle smile, “How do you feel? Are you fully recovered? Don’t rush home just because you don’t like the hospital.”

Jiang Yu leaned into Han Cheng’s arms, enjoying Han Cheng’s tenderness, and said with a smile, “My back is just like that. Being able to move is good enough. I want to go home, back to our home.”

Han Cheng was very pleased with Jiang Yu’s dependence, affectionately tapped Jiang Yu’s nose, and said dotingly, “Okay, let’s go home, back to our home.”

The two left the hospital in a tender and loving manner, without mentioning Ji Xu. Jiang Yu also didn’t question why Han Cheng hadn’t visited him once during his seven-day stay in the hospital.

Wang Huan took the luggage and went home in another car first. Han Cheng took Jiang Yu to a dumpling restaurant and ordered two servings of shrimp and pork wontons and a bottle of Coca-Cola.

Han Cheng remembered clearly what he liked to eat. Although he always nagged about how unhealthy it was to drink carbonated drinks, Han Cheng would always complain while buying them for Jiang Yu.

Although they were lovers, Han Cheng’s performance was perfect. The meticulous care would make the person being cared for lose themselves and have illusions they shouldn’t have.

Jiang Yu had experienced this illusion and paid the price. Now, Jiang Yu would only enjoy Han Cheng’s care without getting lost. He always remembered his identity and would no longer have inappropriate thoughts.

At nine o’clock in the morning, Jiang Yu ate his breakfast contentedly under Han Cheng’s care.

Back at the seaside villa, the luggage had already been delivered, and Wang Huan had left.

Jiang Yu wanted to unpack the luggage, but Han Cheng picked him up and headed straight for the bathroom.

A three-hour entanglement ensued. Han Cheng was unusually excited today, as if he had been a monk for eight hundred years and was finally breaking his fast with unparalleled ferocity.

Jiang Yu rubbed his aching back, realizing that he had just been discharged from the hospital and felt like he needed to go back for another check-up.

Han Cheng was sleeping soundly beside him. Jiang Yu really wanted to ask if Ji Xu hadn’t satisfied this rogue.

With Han Cheng’s temperament, if he took a liking to someone, he could get his hands on them in a day if it was fast, or three or four days if it was slow.

This rogue had been showing affection with Ji Xu for seven days, could it be that they hadn’t gotten together yet? Had he been holding back for so long and came back to torment himself out of frustration?

That’s right, that was his first love, the white moonlight in his heart, naturally not comparable to a lover in a monetary transaction like himself. First love was to be treated with care.

Chasing after his first love while messing around with his lover, he really was a rogue.

Jiang Yu glared at the sleeping Han Cheng with contempt, supported his back, put on his clothes, and rummaged through the luggage on the first floor for medicine, swallowing it dry. He didn’t want to lie in the hospital for another seven days.

“Mr. Jiang, you’re awake. Let me clean up.” Aunt Chen heard the noise and came out of the servant’s room. Seeing Jiang Yu squatting next to the luggage, she hurried over to help.

“No need, Han Cheng is still sleeping. We’ll clean up when he wakes up. Aunt Chen, I’m hungry, make me something to eat.”

“Okay, you like to eat shrimp. Mr. Han brought back a lot of fresh shrimp today. I’ll make you some shrimp wontons.” Aunt Chen also knew Jiang Yu’s taste, rolled up her sleeves, and headed to the kitchen.

“Aunt Chen, just boil some shrimp. Wontons are too much trouble, I’m hungry.”

“Okay, I’ll just boil some in water, it’ll be quick, you can eat in ten minutes.”

Aunt Chen went to the kitchen to get busy. Jiang Yu supported his back and lay on the sofa, turning on the TV. The TV was still broadcasting gossip about Han Cheng and Ji Xu.

After making a fuss for seven days, Ji Xu, one of the parties involved, finally responded today.

When a reporter asked what his relationship with Han Cheng was, Ji Xu smiled sweetly but answered that they were friends.

The reporter was persistent and asked if there was a possibility of rekindling their old flame. Ji Xu still gave an ambiguous answer, saying that everything depended on fate.

Jiang Yu rubbed his back, looked at Ji Xu smiling with his big front teeth, and a sentence kept popping up in his mind: What a pure white lotus.

A warm hand suddenly landed on his back, replacing Jiang Yu’s hand, rubbing his back. Han Cheng’s deep voice was in his ear: “Are you tired? Is your back okay?”

Jiang Yu glanced at Ji Xu on the TV, his smile a little stiff. He picked up the remote control and turned off the TV, turning back to smile sweetly at Han Cheng: “It’s okay, just a little sore. It’s all your fault for being so amazing, you have to give me a good massage.”

“I specially learned massage for you.” Han Cheng’s long legs directly crossed the back of the sofa and sat on the coffee table.

Jiang Yu lay on the sofa, letting Han Cheng lift his clothes. The warm hands were placed on his waist, and Jiang Yu couldn’t help but tickle and instinctively dodged.

“Don’t move. It’s not like I haven’t touched you before, what are you dodging?” Han Cheng’s big hand pinched Jiang Yu’s waist and pressed him on the sofa, starting to massage with moderate force.

Han Cheng did have some skills. After massaging for a while, Jiang Yu clearly felt that his back was more comfortable, and the soreness gradually disappeared. Jiang Yu comfortably fell asleep.

When he woke up again, the sun was already on the horizon. The orange sunlight shone into the room through the windows, accompanied by the sparkling sea. The scenery outside the window was as beautiful as a painting.

Jiang Yu looked out the window, thinking that after leaving Han Cheng, he would also buy a small house by the sea. It didn’t need to be a villa, a farmhouse would do. Looking at this beautiful scenery every day, he felt that his mood was purified.

The rumbling of his stomach broke the silence. Jiang Yu picked up the phone on the bedside table, realizing that it was already five o’clock in the afternoon.

Han Cheng’s massage technique was really good, his back felt comfortable, so he could sleep so soundly. It was just that he hadn’t eaten all day, and his stomach was protesting.

Going downstairs, Aunt Chen was cleaning the living room. Seeing Jiang Yu coming downstairs, she smiled and said, “Mr. Han guessed right, saying you might wake up around five o’clock. Are you hungry? I’ve already made the food, it’s on the coffee table.”

“Where’s Han Cheng?” Jiang Yu liked to watch TV while eating, and when he was alone, he usually ate on the coffee table.

“Mr. Han said he has company matters and won’t be home for dinner.”

“Oh.” Jiang Yu opened the dishes covered on the coffee table. Peeled boiled shrimp, broccoli, and rice porridge – two simple dishes that he loved.
