Coral Fleece Pajamas

Chapter 112: Coral Fleece Pajamas

The items Illya ordered had started arriving one after another.

Chu Feng had rented a storage unit just for this. He paid 1,500 yuan and asked the old man who guarded their apartment complex to help receive deliveries on his behalf.

Looking at the entire warehouse full of packages, Chu Feng asked curiously, “What did you even buy?”

Illya shook his head and said innocently, “I don’t know.”

Chu Feng was confused. “You… don’t know?”

Illya nodded. “I bought so much that I don’t even know what I got anymore.”

“Oh… I see.”
Buying so much without even knowing what it is? Suddenly this wife seems like she might be expensive to keep—what’s going on here?

Illya looked a bit embarrassed and explained, “I only bought cheap stuff. I only spent around 60,000 total.”

When Illya had first arrived, he wasn’t very sensitive to the pricing of things here. But over time, he had learned a lot and now had a general sense of how much things should cost.

Illya touched the ring on his finger and thought to himself: This ring… is actually kind of expensive.

Chu Feng smiled and said, “It’s okay—even if it’s expensive, it doesn’t matter.”

Illya rested his chin on his hand and said, “If there’s a cheaper option, it’s still better to go with that. I heard there’s something called Double Eleven coming soon.”

Chu Feng: “Illya, you’re progressing so fast! You even know about Double Eleven?”

Illya looked at Chu Feng and said, “You must plan your time carefully—when Double Eleven comes, you have to be here.”

Chu Feng: Actually, Double Eleven is just a marketing gimmick—to lure people who can’t think straight into buying a bunch of stuff they don’t even need.
Still, seeing how seriously Illya takes it, Chu Feng thought again and found it comforting. Illya was frugal and good at managing the household—definitely a good partner.

Chu Feng looked at the mark on his hand. The energy within was nearly depleted.

“Alright, let’s pack everything up and head over,” he said.

Illya nodded. “Okay!”

The two of them worked together to bundle all the delivery boxes into one group.

Chu Feng and Illya appeared inside the castle—with the entire room full of supplies transported along with them.

Chu Feng raised an eyebrow. “We brought it all.”

Illya puffed out his cheeks. “Your spatial tunnel has expanded more than threefold—it’s normal to bring everything through now.”

Chu Feng looked at Illya. “With this many packages, let’s get a few people to help unpack.”

Illya nodded. “Sounds good!”

He called in Manning and the others. When they heard Chu Feng had asked them to help organize supplies, they got excited. The Gaoshan tribe people were always busy, while they often had spare time. Manning felt a little guilty about that.

Illya handed out a few engraving knives to the group and instructed them to start opening boxes.

Everyone was excited—it felt like opening treasure chests.

August opened a box and couldn’t help but gasp. Nobles loved to collect porcelain, and though August had a few sets himself, they didn’t compare in craftsmanship.

Illya dragged the box over and said, “I thought it might be broken—didn’t expect it to arrive intact.”

Chu Feng smiled. “Online sellers think through this stuff.”

Illya took out a set of tea ware. “I bought this for the shaman. Looks good, right?”

Chu Feng nodded. “Yes, it’s beautiful. You’ve got excellent taste.”

Illya nodded too. “I thought so. The shaman will definitely like it.”

Hall glanced at the tea set in Illya’s hands, his eyes showing admiration. In noble society, when hosting guests, they often showcased their finest tableware as a display of wealth. Illya’s tea set was beautifully crafted—it would definitely impress at a banquet.

“Boss, what’s this?” Manning asked curiously.

Chu Feng looked at the item in Manning’s hands, his face instantly full of dark lines, then turned to Illya and asked, “You bought this?”

Illya nodded. “Yeah.”

Chu Feng gave a dry chuckle. “Do you even know what it is?”

Illya nodded seriously. “Of course—it’s something like underwear for the chest, right?”

Sometimes, Chu Feng thought Illya was shockingly innocent…
And other times, he could be downright bold.

Looking at Illya’s calm expression, Chu Feng figured—Well, it’s just a bra. Nothing to fuss about. As a modern, open-minded person, he was probably overreacting.
Shouldn’t be like this…

“It was actually Qinglan who asked me to buy it,” Illya said.

Chu Feng looked puzzled. “How did Qinglan even know about this kind of thing?”

Illya puffed up his cheeks and explained, “She saw a bikini-clad woman on a peppermint candy wrapper earlier. It caught her attention. She thought women in your world dressed really shamelessly… but she wanted the outfit.”

Chu Feng: “……”
“Why would they print a bikini-clad woman on a mint candy wrapper? Are store owners these days completely shameless? They’ll do anything for money!”

Illya tilted her head and said, “Thankfully we have online shopping—otherwise, going to a physical store to buy these things would be kind of embarrassing.”

Chu Feng looked at Illya and asked, “Did you buy too much?”
How much did she buy?

Illya nodded. “Probably. But I really don’t know the sizes of the women in the village, so I had to buy a few different kinds.”

Chu Feng: “Illya, you’re really quite thorough.”

August said, “What is this? Looks like an insole—is it an insole?”

Chu Feng: “Illya really bought a ton of women’s products, huh? Even sanitary pads. Don’t tell me Qinglan asked for those too?”

Illya shook her head, a little confused. “I don’t know what this is used for.”

Chu Feng looked at her and asked, “You bought something without knowing what it is?”

Illya puffed up her cheeks and said, “The store was having a sale! Spend 300, get 30 off. Spend 1,000, get 150 off. The item had really good sales numbers, so I figured it must be useful.”

Chu Feng: “Sure, it’s useful. But how are we supposed to promote or explain this stuff? What if the locals here think I’m some kind of pervert? And we don’t even know if their physiology is the same as ours. What if they don’t even get periods?”

Illya tilted her head and asked, “Do you know what it is?”

Chu Feng: “Now that’s a depressing question… Why are you asking me something like that? Let’s… talk about it later, okay?”

Illya nodded. “Alright.”

Manning opened up a box and found it filled with lollipops. He gasped. “That’s a lot of candy.”

Chu Feng glanced at Illya. “Why’d you buy so much again? Don’t we already have plenty in stock?”

Illya nodded. “Yeah, we do have a lot. But I saw them and couldn’t help myself.”

Chu Feng rubbed his forehead and thought to himself, Illya must’ve starved badly before, that’s why she’s hoarding like this… Whatever, if she bought them, she bought them. At least they weren’t expensive.

Illya nodded and said, “You’ve got a lot of money in your account anyway!”

Chu Feng chuckled. “It’s alright, not a big deal.”
He’d loaded ten million into his online account. Illya did buy quite a bit, but it was mostly cheap stuff. With that much money, it should last quite a while.

Illya tilted her head and said, “You’re a rich guy now! A big spender—those waiters would definitely call you a sugar daddy!”

Manning looked at Chu Feng and Illya and felt like a pink, romantic mist was floating between the two. He couldn’t find an opening to join the conversation.

August opened another box—this one full of clothes.
“Boss, are these winter jackets?”

Chu Feng glanced at the box August had opened and said, “Technically it’s called a winter coat, but it’s actually coral fleece winter pajamas. Honestly, they’re not very stylish, but they’re super warm and really comfortable to wear in winter.”

Illya said proudly, “These clothes are super cheap! You can get a whole set for just a few dozen yuan. And if you buy in bulk, there’s a discount too. I bought 500 sets all at once!”

Chu Feng: “……”
With that many, there were enough for everyone in Crescent Village to get one.

If everyone in Crescent Village wore this kind of pajamas in the winter… what a sight that would be. Such a waste of good looks!

Then again, Chu Feng thought, good-looking people look good in anything. Maybe even these pajamas could still look nice on them… probably.

Illya had brought way too much stuff, and it took them over an hour just to open all the boxes. Then sorting everything took even more time.

Chu Feng looked at Hall and asked, “Do you still have that list from last time?”

Hall nodded. “Yes, I do.”

Chu Feng, resting his chin on his hand, said, “Use that list and give each person on it one set of clothes.”

Hall nodded. “Alright.”

He frowned, thinking to himself: Everyone was enthusiastic when signing up last time, but there might still be some who didn’t register. If all future supplies are handed out based only on that list…

Chu Feng glanced out the window. “The houses are being built fast these days!”

August nodded. “Shi Qi is amazing.”

No wonder Shi Qi earns a high salary—he really deserves it. People with abilities finish work so much more easily than ordinary folks like them.

“The roads from the castle district to the dwarves, Crescent Village, and the mountain tribes—are they all done?” Chu Feng asked.

August nodded. “All done.”

Chu Feng nodded. “In that case, you can deliver the supplies by car.”

August scratched his head with an awkward smile. “I haven’t learned how to drive yet.”

Chu Feng only brought one car, and there weren’t enough people in Crescent Village who could drive. They hadn’t had the chance to learn yet. Truth be told, August really did want to give it a try.

Chu Feng asked in confusion, “None of you know how to drive?”

Manning replied a little awkwardly, “None of us do… but I heard Lan Hu does.”

Chu Feng was surprised. “Lan Hu can drive now?”

He thought to himself: August and the others don’t know how to drive, but Lan Hu does? Maybe he had underestimated that useless rich kid.

Manning whispered, “Lan Hu used Shi Qi’s work tokens to bribe a driving instructor.”

Chu Feng: “As expected of a young master from a wealthy family. He figured out how to use money to grease the wheels so quickly. No wonder those kids are jealous that Lan Hu can live off someone else. Honestly, there’s something to be said for that lifestyle!”
