Chapter 177
A-Yan touched his lips, and as he finally registered what had just happened, a rush of unprecedented emotion surged through him. But soon, confusion followed.
What did Su Su mean by “something doesn’t feel right”?
He got to his feet, stumbling slightly as he walked out of the bedroom.
Su Ci had gone into the bathroom and was in the middle of washing up. Just as he finished rinsing his mouth, he caught sight of a young man with short platinum blonde hair rushing in through the mirror.
The single-occupant bathroom, which felt spacious enough when A-Yan was in his cub form, now seemed cramped with his adult-sized frame.
The air inside the bathroom seemed to grow heavier, almost stifling.
Su Ci noticed the change, his brows furrowing slightly.
He grabbed a towel and wiped away the foam and water on his lips before slowly turning around to face A-Yan, who had now moved behind him.
“What’s wrong?” Su Ci asked calmly.
A-Yan stepped closer. His now-tall figure, no longer the small, scrawny form of his cub days, loomed over Su Ci. Having spent recent days refining his mastery over rules, his presence had grown more commanding.
Under Su Ci’s calm gaze, A-Yan moved closer, his hands reaching past Su Ci’s sides to brace against the counter behind him, effectively trapping Su Ci between himself and the counter.
Su Ci looked at him, a flicker of surprise crossing his otherwise serene eyes.
The space was locked.
The Spirit of Rules had sealed the area.
It was hard to believe that the tiny cub who used to trail behind him and could be lifted with one hand had now grown to this extent.
A-Yan could now silently wield rule-based techniques like spatial confinement.
However, Su Ci remained unconcerned, even though he couldn’t teleport out. He had countless ways to break free if he wanted to.
The Spirit of Rules, despite being over ten thousand years old, had spent most of that time in slumber. No matter how much of his strength he recovered, in Su Ci’s eyes, he remained immature.
To someone like Su Ci, who had endured far longer stretches of time, the Spirit of Rules—no matter how much he grew—would always be a child.
Su Ci’s calm gaze rested on A-Yan, waiting to see what he would do next.
It was clear that A-Yan hadn’t trapped Su Ci with harmful intent. Then again… depending on how one interpreted “harm,” that might not be entirely accurate.
“You… kissed me just now,” A-Yan finally said, his voice rough and strained. This was his real voice—not the smooth and clear tone he used through his communicator, but a low, raspy sound. At this moment, he wanted to speak to Su Ci with his own voice.
He wanted Su Ci to hear him directly.
“Yes,” Su Ci nodded.
Faced with A-Yan’s “question,” Su Ci remained calm, as though the kiss had no special significance to him. It was as if it were a simple action, devoid of deeper meaning.
This realization caused a shadow to flicker across A-Yan’s eyes.
He lowered his lashes, and his gaze inadvertently fell on Su Ci’s lips.
Having just rinsed his mouth, those already vibrantly colored red lips now glistened with a dewy, full sheen. Like a Star-chain Fruit hanging from a vine, glistening with droplets of morning dew, they exuded an irresistible allure that made his throat tighten involuntarily.
He struggled to suppress his emotions and asked in a hoarse voice, “So, what’s wrong?”
Su Ci hadn’t expected A-Yan to corner him just to ask that question.
Pondering how to respond, Su Ci was caught off guard when A-Yan suddenly lifted a hand. His broad palm gently cupped Su Ci’s cheek, his fingertips softly caressing the skin there.
Su Ci felt the delicate touch, and his human body responded with an unfamiliar yet faintly familiar shiver.
That shiver…
It was something he had experienced in dreams but hadn’t felt during his earlier kiss with A-Yan.
Su Ci blinked, his confusion evident, as A-Yan leaned closer and lightly took Su Ci’s lips between his own. He sucked gently before releasing him.
With their foreheads touching, A-Yan whispered, “Does this feel right?”
“No…”
Su Ci’s reply was cut off as A-Yan tilted his head slightly and seized the moment to kiss him again.
This time, it wasn’t just a fleeting touch.
A-Yan’s tongue slipped past Su Ci’s lips, exploring and savoring the softness that enchanted him, drawing from him the warmth that left him spellbound. His kiss was passionate yet tender, fervent yet skillful.
He instinctively knew how to please Su Ci, weaving a seductive web of desire designed to make Su Ci willingly fall with him.
The beautiful, enchanting eyes of the Earth Spirit shifted from surprise to a hazy daze. Su Ci’s hands, once resting at his sides, rose and found their way to A-Yan’s shoulders.
This was the feeling…
They held each other tightly, their intimate embrace leaving no space between them.
Su Ci immersed himself in this unfamiliar sensation. Having lived for tens of millions of years, the ancient god believed few things in the world could stir his heart.
Yet in this moment, he felt his heart pounding uncontrollably. With each kiss from A-Yan, a wholly unfamiliar and exhilarating sense of joy enveloped him.
So, was this why humans were so enamored with matters of love and passion?
He carefully attuned himself to the changes in his body—changes he had never experienced, even during the times he had taken human form and wandered among mortals.
No one had ever dared to defile the Earth Spirit in this way, and no being could withstand even a single kiss from him. But…
The Spirit of Rules was different.
They were equals—beings of the same level.
Su Ci’s mind was filled with these thoughts, and unlike the romanticized accounts in human poetry and stories, a simple kiss didn’t render him incapable of thinking.
But he had to admit, A-Yan was exceptionally skilled at bringing him pleasure. It was as though A-Yan understood his simulated human body better than he did himself, knowing exactly how to provoke him and awaken boundless desire within.
To be honest, Su Ci didn’t dislike the experience. In fact, he found it somewhat enjoyable.
After all, having lived for countless millennia, there were few things left in the world, aside from food, that could provide such intense stimulation.
Su Ci felt his body becoming slightly weak and unsteady. He could have easily dispelled this sensation, but… the comfort and ease he felt at the moment made him reluctant to move.
The next instant, A-Yan’s warm and firm hands wrapped around his waist, lifting him effortlessly to sit on the bathroom counter.
It seemed that A-Yan always knew how to fulfill his needs without him having to say a word.
The counter, damp with water droplets, felt cool against the fabric of his clothing. Yet, it couldn’t extinguish the flame A-Yan had ignited within him.
Holding tightly onto A-Yan, Su Ci mirrored the seriousness he had when learning cultivation techniques in the past—or when teaching A-Yan the heavenly script—and followed his lead, learning how to kiss, how to respond.
Once again, he felt that marvelous sensation he had encountered in dreams. However, as time passed, Su Ci’s brows began to furrow.
Neither of them were ordinary humans. Their immense stamina and endurance meant they could have continued kissing indefinitely.
Yet, as the experience stretched on, Su Ci found his desire unsatisfied—it left him yearning for something more…
Just as this growing frustration threatened to overwhelm him, A-Yan pulled back.
Leaning against the bathroom counter, Su Ci’s fair and delicate skin had turned a vivid shade of red, his eyes half-lidded with a dazed and perplexed expression.
A-Yan’s breathing was uneven.
He had seen many facets of the Earth Spirit before, but never one like this. Knowing that this version of Su Ci existed because of him filled A-Yan with an irrepressible joy.
“A-Yan…” Su Ci murmured, still frowning.
“I know,” A-Yan replied.
His voice was still hoarse, yet it carried a magnetic, almost intoxicating allure. He leaned close to Su Ci, his lips brushing against his ear as he coaxed him softly.
“Let me help you, Su Su… please?”
Su Ci frowned further. Help?
Unlike the Spirit of Rules, who was a born omniscient being, Su Ci’s vast knowledge came from the accumulation of his long existence. But matters of human intimacy were a realm he had never explored or shown interest in.
At most, he had gleaned snippets of understanding from the occasional leisure book.
A-Yan’s lips curved into a faint smile, and he gently nipped Su Ci’s earlobe.
It felt incredible.
This intimate act was something only he could share with Su Su… and Su Su allowed it.
As Su Ci puzzled over A-Yan’s words, his eyes suddenly widened. He became acutely aware of A-Yan’s hands and, in the next moment, understood that there were actions far more daring than kissing…
“Mm…”
Su Ci closed his eyes, involuntarily leaning back against the mirror. The moisture-laden surface reflected their entwined forms, though the misted glass blurred the image into something dreamlike and ethereal.
“Plop—”
The sound of Su Ci’s slipper falling to the bathroom floor broke the silence. His pristine, flawless foot was now taut, toes pressed tightly together, forming an elegant, tense arch that trembled slightly in midair.
The clarity in Su Ci’s usually sharp eyes had been replaced by a misty haze.
The dissatisfaction that had clouded his heart earlier had gradually dissipated, replaced by a deep immersion in a pleasure he had never experienced before.
In his dazed state, Su Ci gazed at A-Yan in front of him, noticing the beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
Looking at his youthful, masculine, and strikingly handsome face, even Su Ci had to admit that his previous judgment had been wrong. At least in certain aspects, the Spirit of Rules… could no longer be considered an immature child.
“Splash—”
For the first time, the sound of running water echoed in the bathroom of Room 303 early in the morning. And that day, the caretaker’s breakfast routine ended later than usual.
Now dressed in his work uniform and having finished a hearty breakfast, Su Ci lounged lazily on the sofa, entirely unmotivated to move.
When A-Yan finished cleaning up the dining table and walked over, he saw Su Ci in this rare state of fatigue and couldn’t help but smile.
Leaning in, A-Yan wrapped his arms around Su Ci’s slender waist, resting his chin on his shoulder. He gently nuzzled Su Ci’s cheek with the tip of his nose.
Su Ci opened his eyes and met A-Yan’s gaze, noticing the amused glint in his eyes. A-Yan said with a smile, “Those two young ones have been waiting outside for a while. Shall I let them in?”
The youth’s smile was gentle and harmless, but Su Ci felt an urge to roll his eyes.
So he knew those two young ones were waiting outside?
A-Yan’s expression grew even more innocent. His fluffy ears, usually perked upright, drooped pitifully, while his warm, gentle voice came through the communicator.
“I didn’t mean to,” he said. “It’s just… seeing you so happy for once, I couldn’t bring myself to stop…”
“Enough,” Su Ci interrupted, raising a hand to firmly ruffle the fur on A-Yan’s drooping ears.
“This better not happen again.”
“Understood, Su Su,” A-Yan replied with a soft chuckle.
